How to use debug on CSM SSL module?

I'm installing a new CSM with SSL module (WS-X6066-SLB-S-K9) and can't get the debugs to work. Acutally, I enabled debugging (to troubleshoot SSL Handshake problems) but nothing shows up on the screen or in the log. Any ideas?

  • How to use debug my jdevloper devloped jsp applications using tomcat 4.0?

    hello,
    how to use debug my jdevloper devloped jsp applications using tomcat 4.0?
    how to run with using tomcat path with browser?
    can any one help?
    thanks
    pullareddy

    Hi Pullareddy,
    Charles' answer will work for Servlets in Tomcat, but debugging JSPs is a bit more complicated than debugging Servlets.
    Here's what you need to do:
    (I don't have Tomcat, so I don't know the details of Tomcat configuration files and I can't guarentee that Tomcat provides the flexibility so that you can configure it for debugging JSPs. Each application server is configured a bit differently. Hopefully you can adjust the following instructions to Tomcat.)
    1. You need to replace Tomcat's JSP engine with OJSP and you need to setup debugging parameters for OJSP.
    This is not specifically in the JDev documentation, but you may be able to apply the information found in the topic "Remote Debugging in OC4J".
    Here are some tips:
    A. You'll probably need to specify the following jars in some Tomcat config file: ojsp.jar, ojsputil.jar, xmlparserv2.jar, ojc.jar, and jdev-rt.jar.
    B. The OJSP class name is oracle.jsp.runtimev2.JspServlet.
    C. The debug parameters are:
    debug_mode = true
    developer_mode = true
    encode_to_java = true
    emit_debuginfo = true
    jspjavacompiler = oracle.jdevimpl.jsp.JspOjcCompiler
    2. You need to make Tomcat start the Java command with debugging options. (This is what Charles was talking about. One of the debug options is -XXdebug). This is in the JDev documentation in the topic "Starting a Java Process in Debug Mode". Please read that documentation help topic.
    3. You need to delete any old .java or .class files which were created in the past for your JSP. If you leave old .java or .class files around, then the debugger may not be able to stop at breakpoints in your JSPs. So, be sure to clean up old files.
    4. Set your project settings for remote debugging. This is on the Debugger - Remote panel in the Project Settings dialog box. You probably want either Attach to OJVM or Attach to JPDA. Which radio button you choose depends on what command line options you specified in step 2.

  • Load Balancing with a CSM & SSL Module

    I'm trying to understand the best way to balance traffic to two servers when decrypting and re-encrypting with the CSM and an SSL module. I take the SSL traffic hitting the first CSM VIP and forward to the SSL module for decryption. Send the decrypted traffic back to another VIP on the CSM. Send the traffic to the client proxy VIP on the SSL which encrypts the traffic and forwards to the CSM VIP. That final VIP passes the traffic to the serverfarm containing the actual servers. How do I make sure the traffic is balanced between the final VIP and my servers. It seems that sticking on SSL session ID is the only way to go at that point which made decryption pointless. I feel like I'm missing something basic here.
    Thanks..

  • How to use SET & GET Parameters in Module Pool

    Hi Friends,
    Can anyone please tell how to use SET / GET parameters and PARAMETER ID for a text box (Input / Output field ) in module pool? What is the purpose and where do we need to do coding for it?
    Note : I will definitely give the marks for good responses.
    Thanks in advance,
    Pradeep

    Hi Pradeep,
    You can save values in the SAP memory using a parameter ID. These
    are user and terminal-session specific, but available to all internal and
    external sessions.
    SET Parameter copies the corresponding field contents into the SAP
    System memory in the PAI processing block.
    GET Parameter copies the corresponding field contents from the SAP
    memory at the end of the PBO processing block, after data has been
    transferred from the program, if the screen field still has its initial value
    You can link an input/output field to an area of the SAP memory in the
    ABAP Dictionary.
    When you use an input/output field that is defined in the ABAP
    Dictionary, its parameter ID is displayed in the Dictionary attribute
    Parameter ID in the Screen Painter.
    Usage
    SET PARAMETER ID: ’CAR’ FIELD space,
    ’CON’ FIELD space,
    ’DAY’ FIELD space.
    Here is the link that explains the usage of GET/SET in detail

  • How to use ET_ATTACH importing parameter Function module BBP_PD_SC_CREATE

    hi,
    how to use ET_ATTACH importing parameter of Function module BBP_PD_SC_CREATE, my requirement is to create SC with attachment.
    an example would really help.
    Kind Regards,
    Kailash.

    Hi,
    Generally we create the SC from ITS or Portal, and there in the Create SC screen , once you add the item into the shopping cart , in the Item details, there is the section called , Documents and Attachements, where in you can upload the attachments which ever you want. Sometimes the extn .DOC, .pdf and .xls are allowed. but that also you can check which are the Authorized files extns avaialbe in Backend R/3.
    Using the FM RFC_READ_TABLE, in table pass TDWP and in the i_field pass 'APPSFX' and then you can get the authorized file formats. in Backend Transaction DC30 you can verify which are the allowed file formats.
    Moreover for restricting the User from uploading the attachment BADI BBP_ITEM_CHECK_BADI can be implemented for raising the error message if required.
    Regarding the ET_ATTACH, it is the structure of type BBPT_PDS_ATT_T,  so you have to provide the complete details for this structure. Like : GUID, P_GUID ,LOGICAL_SYSTEM, DESCRIPTION, URL, TYPE,DISP_URL, PHIO_EXT ,etc.
    Once all the entries are fine.
    You can create the SC, but the recommeded way for creating the SC is thru ITS or Portal.
    I hope this will help. Feel Free while asking questions.
    Thanks and Regards,

        } catch ( Exception e ) {
          log.warning( "Aanroep naar " + BULKSTAMMENN + " gefaald, " + e.getMessage() );
        } finally {
          if ( bulkStamenSP != null ) {
            try {
              bulkStamenSP.close();
            } catch ( Exception e ) {
              log.warning( e.getMessage() );
        log.info( "Stammen bulk uitgevoerd voor " + rasId + " " + telerId + " " + jaar + " " + aantal + " " +
                  toelichting );
      }You can then drag this method onto your page or right into your task flow if your using JDev 11.
    Also you can access it from a backing bean although the methods above are preferred

  • How to use SquirrelMail and Require SSL for IMAP Service?

    Hello,
    Mac OS X Server v.10.4.9 – Open Directory Master
    Providing POP, IMAP, SMTP, web services including webmail via SquirrelMail.
    PHP v.4.4.4 Nov. 1, 2006
    OpenSSL v.0.9.7l Sept. 2006
    I need to require SSL for IMAP access, however, I also need to provide webmail access. SquirrelMail does support TSL it seems and that can be configured from /etc/squirrelmail/config/conf.pl and is discussed briefly here: http://www.squirrelmail.org/wiki/SquirrelMailIMAPS .
    When I turn on TSL on SquirrelMail and change the IMAP port number to 993 attempting to log into SquirrelMail provides the following error:
    Bad request: IMAP server does not appear to support the authentication method selected. Please contact your system administrator.
    According to the above noted page from the SquirrelMail site one needs PHP 4.3 and SSLv3 in order for TSL to work, one must also connect to the IMAP server over port 993. Requirements I appear to meet.
    So – how can one require the use of SSL for IMAP and still provide webmail access via SquirrelMail?
    I have reviewed these three threads:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=912841&tstart=75
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1457773&#1457773
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=3921004&#3921004
    However they do not answer the fundamental question of how to use SquirrelMail with SSL required by IMAP. Essentially the conversation revolves around working around the SSL requirement or forgoing it.
    Thank you for any assistance.

    David,
    Yet from time to time these same users are in a
    circumstance where they need to use webmail, thus
    SquirrelMail needs to work. I am not trying to
    secure webmail by requiring SSL.
    I see, your problem. In this particular case there is a workaround.
    Use different ports for postfix and cyrus limited to localhost, thus catering only to SquirrelMail, thus not needing TLS.
    Roughly do this (this is just off the top of my head, may contain errors):
    For SMTP / Postfix:
    Edit /etc/postfix/master.cf
    and add:
    465 inet n - n - - smtpd
    -o smtpdrecipientrestrictions= permit_mynetworks,reject
    -o mynetworks=127.0.0.1/32
    -o smtpdenforcetls=no
    # This will create a port 465 (if you use this alreay pick another one. choose the number wisely, depending ony what is in use on your server)
    # This port is only accessible to IP number in "mynetworks"
    For IMAP / Cyrus
    Edit /etc/cyrus.conf and add (below imap):
    imaplocal cmd="imapd -C /etc/imapd-local.conf" listen="127.0.0.1:imap" prefork=0
    Next duplicate /etc/imapd.conf and name it imapd-local.conf
    Edit /etc/imapd-local.conf
    Change
    tlsserveroptions: require
    to
    tlsserveroptions: use
    Next edit:
    /etc/services
    and create a port called "imaplocal"
    (you could probably recycle 585 wich is deprecated, check what is in the services file, make sure no duplicate port numbers).
    should look something like:
    imaplocal 585/udp
    imaplocal 585/tcp
    When done with all config files:
    Save & restart mail services
    Point SquirrelMail to the new ports wich should only be accessible to localhost (check with an external client if it holds
    Sorry for the "draft style" post, but I don't have much time.
    Just ask, if anything isn't clear.
    HTH,
    Alex

  • **How to use Logic as a sound module with an MPC?!?!**

    So I'm new to Logic, I love the program but don't know a thing about the environment... I've seen people discuss this a lot on the forums but I still haven't been able to figure it out.
    Basically, I am using an MPC 2500 and would like to use Logic as a sound module.
    I know you have to create a new multi track instrument in the environment but as a newbie I just can't seem to put the pieces together. I tried and tried but when I create a new instrument all I get is a box with 16 channels!?
    Does someone have a similar setup? Would anyone mind sending me their environement?
    MacBook Pro   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

    Pictures worth a thousand words and stuff:
    http://bj.angeltowns.com/images/log_cs.jpg
    Here I've disconnected the physical input object from the sequencer object (called "to recording & thru")
    I've created a channel splitter object, and cabled the physical input object to it. I'm now in the process of option-clicking the channel splitter's output cables (one for each MIDI channel) - ()option-clicking the output cables is a shortcut way to cable to objects on different layers) - and selecting channel 1 (and thus cable 1) to go to Audio Instrument 1, channel 2 (cable 2) to Audio Instrument 2 etc.
    So the MIDI comes in to Logic, gets split into individual channels, and each channel goes to it's own audio instrument via a cable, which you can put any plugins on.
    You can't record into Logic this way now, as we've bypassed the sequencer, but I think you need it simple at this stage

  • How to use Auto layout in book module

    Hi,
    I got a MBP mid-2010 15" running OS X Lion.
    I´m trying to get the auto layout to work with presets. I might be doing something wrong here though:
    1. "Edit Auto layout preset"
    2. Choose for instance "Wedding" layout
    3. Save preset
    If I then click on "Auto Layout" it creates the book, but only with "1 Photo" on each page
    If I then click on edit "Auto layout presets" again and choose the preset I just created, the layout option says "1 Photo" (I chose wedding)
    No matter how I try to save this it goes back to 1 Photo.
    What am I doing wrong here? Is it some kind of bug?
    Thanks,
