How to use dynamic reloading un SUN AS 8.1 ?

Hi
I have enabled dynamic reloading, but it doesn't work for me.
Maybe I am copying class to a wrong directory ?
I have modified a class and copied it to
c:\Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\applications\j2ee-modules\MyWEBApp\WEB-INF\classes
but server deosn't reload it.
I need to restart the server to have that class reloaded.
Why ?

When I create .reload or update it's timestamp in
c:\Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\applications\j2ee-modules\IDEGATransactionGateway\.reload
then AS tries to autodeploy the application and it fails, because I already have an application with such name.
Isn't that strange ? Does this reload thing work for someone ?

You can certainly use the INTO (and USING) clauses of EXECUTE IMMEDIATE to pass in and return data, i.e.

I am new to Toplink, i would like to use a named query to select some of the columns from 3 different tables with dynamic where clause.
I have used the following lines. Please tell me how to get code for the dynamic where clause.
First try :
Vector objPersons = (Vector)session.executeQuery("findPersonByGlobalID",Person.class,vQueryArguments);
The above method is not returning the vector or collection.
Second Try:
ReadAllQuery query = new ReadAllQuery(Person.class);
query.useCollectionClass(LinkedList.class);
LinkedList person = (LinkedList) session.executeQuery(query);
The second try is returning the collection but, this fetches all the record from the table.
1. How to query for range of records?
2. How to query from multiple tables for some range. How to use dynamic range values ?
Please reply with your answers or some pointers would help.

Dynamic combo boxes::A combo box is dynamic if it references a document property for which a value set is defined in the configuration (System Administration ® System Configuration ® Content Management ® Global Services ® Property Metadata ® Properties ® Parameter Allowed Values).
At runtime (when you open the creation form) the system reads these values from the configuration and displays them in the dropdown list.
If you link a combo box for which list entries already exist to a document property with a value set, the system asks whether you want to delete the list entries. it is recommend that you accept this suggestion and delete the list entries from the XML Forms Builder. Otherwise inconsistencies could arise between the entries in the XML Forms Builder and the value set in the configuration. This can cause errors when saving.

Hi
You can create an SQL command in Database Expert > Expand your datasource > Add command
Then enter the SQL query that will create the list of values to supply to the user
eg select field1,field2 from table
Then edit the parameter of the report. These will be the SP parameters adn can be seen in field explorer.
Change the parameter type to Dynamic
Under the word Value click on Click here to add item
Scroll down to your Command and select one of the values that you want to appear in the list
e.g field1
Then click on the Parameters field - this is essential to create the param
You can edit other options as required
That should do it for you.
I must say that i use CR 2008 connected to Oracle 10g SP, but i reckon this will work for SQL DB and CR XI as well

How to config dynamic reload in websphere

I would like to update the web.xml without the server stops or only restart the application, how to achieve that? In addition, how can I configure the dynamic reload in Websphere? I only select the Reload Enable checkbox in the console, but it seems it doesn't take effect..

I've not used Websphere but I think the 'Reload Enable' would probably refer to the reloading of servlets on change ( which is normally disabled meaning you have to restart in order to load a new, modified instance of a servlet )
When you change your DD ( web.xml ) you have to redeploy your app. But most production level servers allow you to do a 'hot' deploy meaning you can manage your apps ( deploy/ start/ stop ) without affecting others or restarting the server. You'll have to look up how this is done for Websphere.

I'm new with using the Creative Cloud and I'm wondering how I use the dynamic link tool between After Effects and Premiere Pro? When I right click on a piece of footage the dynamic link section is faded and won't let me click it. I also can't drag clips from premiere into after effects. Do I have to download something extra for dynamic link?

How To Use Dynamic Menus To Place Manually Created Jspx Pages On Sub-Level

Back on the JHS trail and could use some help.
I started using dynamic menus (see section 9.2 JHS Dev Guide) to setup a custom menu structure and found it could not be easier however I need to solve 2 issues;
1. How to get more than 2 levels deep on the menus (parent, child, grand-child, etc.)? In the menu structure setup I have created a menu that is 3-levels deep however when it runs you only get 2 levels. Perhaps a template needs to be changed.
2. How can I assign manually created jspx pages to sub-level menus?
Scenerio;
I have JHS generated pages *** AND *** manually created pages. Using dynamic menus to place the JHS genned pages works fine, the problem is how to do it with manually created pages.
Using Dynamic Menu's I created a top-level menu tab named "warp-core", below it on the next level I have two sub-menus, one named "search" and one named "form" for displaying the results of the search and modifying the rows (don't ask me why they are seperate).
The problem is how to assign the manually created jspx pages to those sub-menus? Or am I going abouth this the wrong way? Perhaps I could use JHS to generate seperate search and display pages.

1. Yes, you need to decide yourself how and where you want to render this third level menu. You then create a region file similar to dynamicMenu2Tabs.jspx, just replace the references to level2MenuItems with level3MenuItems. Then create a custom template to call this menu 3 region file.
For example, you could create a bulleted vertical list for level 3 as illustrated in section 9.1.3 of the Developers Guide (that example is with static menu, but you can use similar technique for dynamic menu)
2. Instead of a group name, you can specify a JSF Navigation action in the menu administration application. So, you create a global navigation case to your custom page, and you enter this navigation case id in the menu admin app.
Note that if you want to generate separate search pages, you can do so by setting the advanced search property to "separatePage".

How to use dynamic column fields in formulas

Hi,
we changed from CR 8.5 to CR XI R2.
Many of our reports use dynamic queries with different count of columns.
These reports are designed for the maximum count of columns.
This works fine with CR 8.5 but with CR XI R2 it seems to be that if one of these columns is missing i get an error in all formulas using this missing columns.
How can i use or check this columns in formulas?

Could it be because of null values? Try File -> Report Options and then check the box next to convert null values to default values and see it that helps or you can go into the formulae and choose Default Values for Nulls. Either of these options should plug a zero if the values happen to be nulls.

I have written a prog to select data pertaining to details of all employees who belong to a particular country . For this i have provided a dynamic selection field for selecting country (through Selection View).But when i am getting all the records for all countries.
How to use the dynamic selection fields in program or they behave in the same way as the standard selection given by the LDB .As if we enter a value in the std screen then the GET event acts accordingly .
