I have tried to use it but was unsuccessful

Click on "Save Target as" on download button of the movie. Also, you can go to Page Info > Media > Save as to download movie.

It's impossible to make certain modification to the content on your iPod if it is not connected to a computer. In fact, just about the only thing you can do from the iPod is rate your music.
If you want complete control, just tell the iPod to manage music manually and you can move things in and delete them as you please.
The reason the iPod works like this is pretty simple, Apple figures that allowing the user to delete music from the iPod all willy-nilly would make the iPod more complex, and therefore more confusing.
But honestly, do you need to delete the podcasts from your iPod RIGHT AFTER you've listened to them? What's the deal with the urgent need to make more space? Unless you're doing transfers from a camera (and I seriously doubt you are) you can just delete them the next time you plug the iPod into your computer.

1. Hold the selected movie by tapping on it a while (around 2 seconds)
2. Click the "X" button that now appears on the selected movie

From your Apple menu at the left end of the menubar, select "About this Mac." You get a window similar to this:
1) The Mac OS version is just under the big "MAC OS X" line. Post what that says.
2) We can start to figure out what iMac you have if you post what that the "Processor" line says.

How do I delete a downloading movie?

I tried to download a movie onto my ipad using itunes. However, I downloaded the HD movie instead of the SD one, so now i do not have enough storage space avaliable to actually download it. How do i delete the download so I can purchase the SD version? Thanks in advance!

See if you can tap on the download to pause it. Then try swiping across the progress bar to try to delete it. If you can't delete it, you may have to contact iTunes Store support in order to get out of this fix.

I have just started using Firefox so I am brand new to this browser. I would like to get a book on Firefox to help set up and use it.

Firefox changes so rapidly that the content of books will be outdated soon or even before they are published.
In each new version a lot of changes are occurring in the user interface and what settings are present and how they are labeled, so online documentation is much easier to keep up to date than books tat would be confusing if they contain outdated information.

I used Firefox to download a digital certificate. I later learned that the provider doesn't support Firefox for Mac, and I can't find the certificate. Can you help?

I'm using FireFox 3.6.20.

Did that certificate get installed or did you download and saved the certificate?
