How to use font created in ifontmaker on my ipad?

Can anyone help me ? I downloaded the application and created my custom made font but do not know how to install it on my ipad. The instructions on the ifontmaker website say, once you create the font and send it to the website download the font and install it. From here you should be ready to use it.
When I hit "download the font" from the website I get a msg asking what other app I'd like to open it with. My choices are dropbox, documents, filer lite...
None of these apps lets me install the font. I would like to use the new font mainly for pictures( I use ps touch) and it should be possible as a lot of people say that they do that...here is an example.

This girls says she downloads the font to download folder? Is there such a thing on ipad? How do I access it?
I have been trying to figure it out for hours and can't get anywhere with it. I will appreciate if anyone guides me through the process and helps me with that!

Once they are marked as junk, any future emails from them will be sent to the junk or spam folder, thus I will still be receiving emails from them, they a just routed to a different location in my email. If this is correct, I would like to completely block the email address and prevent them from sending me emails versus routing them to my junk box. I appreciate your time with helping me on this matter.

How to use filters on ios mobile devices (iPhone/iPad) using GPU rendering (Solved)

Many moons ago I asked a question here on the forums about how to use filters (specifically a glow filter) on a mobile devices (specifically the iPhone) when using GPU rendering and high resolution.
At the time, there was no answer... filters were unsupported. Period.
Well, Thanks to a buddy of mine, this problem has been solved and I can report that I have gotten a color matrix filter for desaturation AND a glow filter working on the iPhone and the iPad using GPU rendering and high resolution.
The solution, in a nut shell is as follows:
1: Create your display object... ie: a sprite.
2. Apply your filter to the sprite like you normally would.
3. Create a new bitmapdata and then draw that display object into the bitmap data.
4. Put the new bitmapdata into a bitmap and then put it on the stage or do what you want.
When you draw the display object into the bitmapdata, it will draw it WITH THE FILTER!
So even if you put your display object onto the stage, the filter will not be visible, but the new bitmapdata will!
Here is a sample app I created and tested on the iphone and ipad

I currently have a slider which changes the hue of an image in a movieclip, I need it to move through he full range -180 to 180.
I desperately need to get this working on a tablet but cant get the filters to work in GPU mode. My application works too slow in cpu mode.

If you have more than one keyboard active, you may be using a different one than you want. Use the "globe" key to make sure your virtual keyboard is set to Japanese Romaji or Japanese Kana. Which one do you use?
On the hardware keyboard, use apple/command plus space to switch between different keyboard layouts which may be active.

Using font created by createFont

I have created a font using a TTF font file as follows:
FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream("font.ttf"]);
f = Font.createFont(Font.TRUETYPE_�FONT, fis);
If I create instance of this font and apply this to a textfield using
setFont method,the displayed text in the text field is too small that
we cant see it.
If we apply the method deriveFont(int size) to font before passing it
to setFont and giving a large value of size, it won't work and we can't
see it.
How to overcome this problem? Any suggestions?

I was able to do this using XMLBeans. It is not an ideal solution for many but it works for me. If it works for you great if not no worries.
So you do your wsdlc ect..
Then you have to run the xmlbean ant task on your schema(s) this basically will generate XMLBeans.
Then you will need to modify your interface created and the POJO of course to match the interface. All parameters and return values need to be changed to the XMLBean instead of the POJO that was generated by wsdlc. So you will probably want to extract the interface from your jar and keep in source control.
Then you need to update the jar created by wsdlc. Delete everything except the Manifest, wsdl and xsds. The rest can be ignored and deleted such as the bindings, pojos, ect...
Now you can go from XML -> Object and Object -> XML
You will probably want to write an ant task to do all the manual work such as updating the jar file, ect.. You can even write an ant task to replace all Pojos from your interface to XMLBeans but this step should probably stay manual and you should probably keep your interface in source control.
This works for me since my WSDL doesnt change very often especially once in production. With Eclipse its easy to do a CTRL + Shift + O to import or CTRL + Space to autocomplete the XMLBean so this step even though it is manual it's a fast step.
Anyway if it helps you great if not maybe it'll help someone else.

How can I use this or any other routines to catch the font placed somewhere on the internet?

In java 1.3.1, the type parameter has to be Font.TRUE_TYPE, which just leaves you with the problem of determining the correct fontStream parameter. You can easily obtain an InputStream for a remote resource by creating a URL to the resource (which presumably must specify a .TTF font file), and then using the method URL.openStream().
Be aware, however, that if you want to access URLs from within an applet, then there are security implications of trying to retrieve data from remote machines other that the one directly hosting the applet (read up on applets and security policies).

The way how an Alert looks like cannot be influenced. When setting an image, you cannot indicate where that image should be placed. When setting a certain message text, you cannot influence its colour, its font and its allignment...
The colour and font properties are theme / skin dependent on your mobile. When switching your mobile to another theme, then you will notice that your Alerts (and Forms and Lists, etc etc...) are coloured (titlebar, command softkeys, textfields) according to that theme.

How to use DAQmx Create Scale Linear

Hello. I have an output from an amplifier that is 10mV/V, that is being read by an USB-6002. The voltage range for this amplifier is 0-200 volts. I have been testing the DAQmx Create Scale Vi but do not understand how it works. I have looked at other posts here for answers but am still not clear how this works. To begin with, it says it uses the y=mx+b equation for it. I don't know what the slope is referring to unless it is the angle of the line. If someone might have an example that explains how this works, that would be awesome. I also tried looking at an example but couldn't find one. Thank you

Here's a "seat-of-the-pants" explanation of y = mx + b. If you think of "x" as the input, and "y" as the output, then you can consider "m" as the gain, and "b" is the offset, the output that you would read with zero input.
If you think about this equation with respect to an amplifier, many are designed to have zero output when there is no input. This means b = 0. If you have a gain of 10mV/V (which I assume means that a 1V input would give a 10mV output, then m, usually called "the slope" (which is the slope of the input/output curve), would be .010/1 = 0.01.
Note you describe the range of your amplifier as 0-200V, so the output will be 0-2V, well within the ±10V of the USB-6002.

Create a variable for 0calyear. The user will input the year.
In the report you use this:
0calmonth - NumberOfEmployeesKF
If the user enters 2008, then it will show:
01.2008 - nnn
02.2008 - xxx
03.2008 - zzz

I have a problem using an own created Web Service (a wsdl file) in BPEL Process Manager.
At the moment I have a Java program which is getting values from SAP via SAPJConnector. From this Java program I generate an WebService File (wsdl) via Axis (on my local Tomcat Server).
Now I want to use this own created WebService (wsdl file) in BPEL. I don't know how to bulid it to my BPEL Server so that I can use it in JDeveloper.
Does anyone know what I have to do?

The problem i have is how to deploy my own created WebService (from a Java class with AXIS) to the BPEL server (OC4J).
