How to use foreign language soft in CS5/Window 7

I use a language software (Vietnamese) for photo captions. It works in CS5 in Window XP Professional but not in Window 7. What do I have to do to be able to use the language software in CS5/Window 7 ? I did check the all the type options but it still does not work.

Is this language software advertised to be compatible with Windows 7? The incompatibility may not have anything to do with Photoshop.
One of the big differences between Windows 7 (also Vista) and XP is the User Account Control facility. It is possible that if you can't get a newer version of this software that you might be able to make it work by reducing the level of Windows 7 UAC. Click Start and type UAC in the search box to access the setting to do that.

Hi Arnab,
The expression is checked only for the current MDM session.
If u login with the ABC language it will always show the ABC language no matter how many times u execute it.
Try connecting to the DM with the XYZ language.
It should go to the if part rather than else.

But I suspect this is likely one of those things for which you will always have to use a full computer rather than a iPad.

Whenever I have trouble with fonts from a different language I set the type in Illustrator, convert the type to outlines, then import the AI file into AE as a composition.
Sometimes setting the type in Photoshop has also helped.
If you must have the fonts so you can use text animators try looking for OT fonts that fill the bill. Open OpenType fonts are a lot less problematic than Post Script or True Type fonts. Take a look HERE for some sources. I haven't checked out any of the fonts listed but it looks promising.
dear the main problem is keyboard in INPAGE2004 we use standard Phonetic keyboard and link which you gave it download the fonts and i copied it brings the urdu but not correct urdu suppose if we make a sentance (my name is chimi) in english it is ok and when i type it for urdu it brings different urdu wording not the correct wording, it type different type of urdu characters which makes no sense. Get a vpn router.. I have no idea where you are in the world but you can find reasonable stuff for not too much money or even a general router that takes third party firmware like dd-wrt can run openvpn.
Set up the vpn router in place of the TC, as the main router in the network. Simply bridge the TC and place it behind the router. It will be accessible as part of the network via the vpn.
This is the only safe way to do it via windows.

If you google around I have seen posts about how to access TC by port forwarding SMB on the TC.. using a different port.. To me this is going to slow down the hackers by a day or two.. then they will discover the open port and access your network.. not just the TC.. they now have SMB access to everything. Don't do it. There is very little security on SMB.

I'm using an English setup of Mac OS X and iWork '08, yet I occasionally create documents in foreign languages like German, French, Dutch and Spanish. How do I change the language of the spell check to the language I'm using at that particular moment?

I write in Latvian all the time and as far as I know, there are no proofing tools available in this language yet, and a limited number of fonts. Pages works much better than Word for Mac, in that once you have switched the flag to change the keyboard layout, it stays on what you have set it, whereas in Word, it kept resetting itself to American!
I know this doesn't answer the original question, but I thought it was an interesting input!!!

I want create rules for Time management, I know that it use the transaction code PE02 for writing calculation rule all the standard rules for time or payroll but I don't know how to use language wrote for the rules.

Hi,
when you use the syntax INCLUDE in sapscript, you could set the language with the command LANG. Have a look to the SapScript documentation.
Example from the help.sap.com :
/: INCLUDE MYTEXT
The text MYTEXT is included in the language of the calling text.
/: INCLUDE MYTEXT LANGUAGE 'E' PARAGRAPH 'A1'
The text with the name MYTEXT and the language E is included, regardless of the language of the calling text. The paragraph format A1 will be used as the standard paragraph type for this call.
For the currency what is the problem ?
the decimals positions could be manage with the WRITE ... CURRENCY.
the conversion must be made by SAP itsel, but you could use the function CONVERT_TO_LOCAL_CURRENCY.

I have unity connection 7.5 Version. i want to use multiple languages for greetings. i mean i have different users from different geographical location. so i want to use engilsh, french and spanish. can i customize my setup like that.

Are you talking about the user greeting? Then have them record the greeting anywhere they want in whatever language they want. If you install multiple locales you can have each user record greeting in different language as well and then the appropriate language greeting will be played on who addresses this user by using "inherit language" feature. Though this will only work when addressing messages from withn voicemail, not by dialing from phone as that will simply use the default routing rule, unless you create custom rules.

I need make a c++ TLS socket server running on Windows XP, and a c# TLS socket client on Windows 7.
The reason of using Schannel TLS is that it is FIPS 140-2 validated.
But it is not easy to find some sample code of Schannel.
By search, I found two c++ TLS samples, but the samples use the secur32.dll, some APIs seem are FIPS non-approved.

I am quite confused about two things:
One is that the FIPS non-approved APIs of ksecdd.sys also are also non-approved in secur32.dll?
Another question is what's the correct way of using Schannel. Are the samples using Schannel in the correct way, must the APIs InitializeSecurityContextW/EncryptMessage be used?
I want some sample code about how to use Schannel in native c++ and managed c#.

I'm not sure what information you are referring to that indicates InitializeSecurityContext() and EncryptMessage() are not FIPS compliant. InitializeSecurityContext() is required API on the client side. EncryptMessage() is the required API to
encrypt data. Both APIs are important APIs in SSPI.
In .NET, you would use the SSLStream Class, https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.security.sslstream(v=vs.110).aspx .
MSDN has sample code for both the client and server.
There used to be an SSPI client + server sample (WebClient & WebServer) on the Windows SDK. I don't know if it is still there. If you can't find them, please let me know.

How to use multiple languages at the same time for spell checking?

I use two different languages all the time and words are mostly so different (English and Finnish) that I could have spell checking on for both languages at the same time.
Now it seem to allow to select only one language at the time and I have to switch back and fort zillion of times per day.

The Dictionary Switcher doesn't seem to work with Finnish language, it doesn't detect it at all to be one of the choices although in the Firefox context menu Languages -> Finnish/Finland is shown.
Also, if it would work, I would need to get rid of multiple EN_* langauges. I just need EN_UK or EN_US, not all 22 different EN_*.
One option would be to create a custom dictionary, which would have words from both languages. The next task is then to find out how to make this kind of custom ENFI-dictionary, which would have words from both English and Finnish languages.
Finnish may be a some kind of special case for spell checking anyway, because the support is in its separate plugin:

Subtitle scripts using foreign languages

Hi im trying to add Vietnamese subtitles to my video i have in dynamic link with Premiere and After Effects. I was manually creating keyframes in AE and it was getting teadious esp because it was a large movie. I have looked through the help documentation about subtitle scripts with Encore. I tried using the format they provide but its not working with Vietnamese text. Any suggestions?
I want to have my subtitles of one large text doc run at the bottom of my video. The text doesn't even have to be in sync with the English video. I tried using the format:
1 00;00;00;00 00;09;00;10 Text in Vietnamese (but theres more than 1500 characters or more)
The error says it didn't find any text in the text script file.
I dont know what to do, any suggestions?

How would i even create an image script, in Photoshop or Illustrator? As of now i started in AE CS5 and was syncing every sentence to the english-vietnamese subtitle but its taking a long time so i thought i could do it with scripts but didn't recognize the Vietnamese accent marks.
I also noticed that when i dynamic link with AE to Premiere and then send to Encore the titles i had made in AE are in the wrong spot and the video pixel aspect ratio is different.
I think im just going to go ahead and stick with creating the longer lines of text into short lines in AE to run along the bottom and export my vid to import later in Encore. Tedious process but i dont know if taking the time to go into Ai and make a .tiff to import as an image text would even scroll on the bottom of my vid in Encore.

where can i find a beginers guide telling me everything i need to know ...step by step ....how to configure and use the creative built in SOFT SYNTH....is there a control panel or something ?

Try this work-flow:
In Editor, go to the expert tab.
Open picture B, the one you wish to select something from to add to another picture.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object. You will see an outline ("marching ants") surrounding the selection once it is complete
Go to Edit menu>copy to copy the selection to the clipboard
Open picture A, then go to Edit>paste
Use the move tool to position object from picture B.
In the layers palette you should see picture A as the background layer, and object B on a separate layer.
