i have adsl internet but my apple ipod touch 4g says it needs wifi to connect..how can i make my ipod connect to my modem SMARTAX MT841 HUAWEI MODEL..
please help me because i want to connect my ipod to internet..

You can try the standard fixes:
- Reset, Nothing is lost.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod

There are apps like USB Drive that allow that fuctionality but you have to use them via iTunes.

How to use ipod touch when I already own an iphone on one computer?

I have a dilemma. when I try to setup my brand new ipod touch I got for xmas, it says i must setup it up as new device or restore from backup. the problem is I use this computer to sync to my iphone 3gs.
itunes wont let me sync to an ipod touch and an iphone on the same computer, its one or the other.
if i choose to setup as new device, then when I sync my iphone it says itunes is synced to another device and must wipe my iphone clean or restore from backup???
how do i use itunes so I can put movies n music on my ipod touch without it affecting my iphone?

i connect the ipod touch and tell it to setup as new device.
i sync some movies and playlists.
easy enough
then i connect my iphone...guess what? it says this is a new device, would you like to setup as new or restore from backup!!!
if i restore from backup it puts the ipod touch playlists and all my contacts are gone
it seems the only way to do this is, from reading that link, to create a new user in windows, and use this new user profile to manage ipod touch.
so now i'm gonna have to siwtch back and forth between 2 windows accounts.
what a royal pain in the butt
why can't itunes just let me sync what i want to the device and not care what it has, so i can just add regardless if new or not.
god i hate itunes.

My brother had bought me an ipod touch 5 online from some guy , however I haven't been unable to get on it because I need the apple id and pw of the previous owner . So then my brother texts the guy he bought it from for the pw or if he could turn off his icloud so that we would be able to get on and the guy says he would give us the pw he just has to find it but he never got back to us and we have asked multiple times . Now we are starting to think he stole it and sold it to us . However we did pay good money for this ipod is there anyways I could get on it or contact the original owner and talk to them about what has happened so that I can finally use the ipod ?

No. This is how Activation Lock works, to prevent un-authorize access. You need the correct credential from the previous owner to switch it off.
There's nothing we or Apple can do.

Yes you can use an external mic. Some are in the Apple store. You can also Google mic for iPod touch. The 3G and 2G iPod came with a combination earphone/mic since those iPod did not come with a intrnal mic. I do not know if the 1G cam with the combination earphone/mic.

All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB
If you have iOS 4.2.1 or later on the iPod and there was version compatible with that version, then you should be able to get a compatible version by:

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

You need to use View Criteria with the View Object attribute that has a LOV model.

Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.

take it to apple store and schedule genius bar appointment. your iPod is still under warrenty because that version is not even a year old. They should replace it. Good Luck!

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.

If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
You can also wipe the iOS device by installing the FindMyiPhone app on another iOS device and using that app to wipe the device.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
