***How to use Java to change user password in *mdw file?
Hi,
Is it possible to use java to change user's password in the MS Access workgroup file(*mdw)? I have been searching for this topic for a long time, but no discoveries yet. Anyone has any idea?
Sincerely,
nonameisname
There is probably a windows API call that does it.
Once you find it, you wrap it in C code and then use JNI to call it from Java.

JClient/ADF How to use JCLoginDialog to change user
Hi,
can anyone give me a clue how to use JCLoginDialog that is automatically generated during design time ?
I`d like also to add there database name and sid to change also database not only user during run-time.
thx in advance,
Jaceki,
JCLogin Dialog is a JAAS based authentication dialog that doesn't perform database authentication or connection. We are workin on a whitepaper explaining what needs to be done to write a database login screen instead

How to change user password from default realm programaticaly
Hello,
I would like to know if there are any ways to change a users password from a file
realm through java classes ie . programaticaly.Thank you for the support.
After looking at the code, I noticed RealmManager is not documented in the BEA
Javadocs. Am I missing something or is it not documented. Lot of other methods
also not documented. Do you have the latest Javadocs?
Thanks

See message #4589 - it posts the code magic needed
to change the password. The caller doesn't have to
be aware of which realm is being used - that's taken
care of for you.

Epm 11.1.2.1 SDK Change user password
Hi
We have installing last version of Epm (11.1.2), and we have to port some java code written using SDK to this version.
In particular i don't find, in this release, the method setPassword of the class User (we use it to change the password for connection from a portal).
Who can help us to find the new methods?

Change User password not working in SAP ME 6.0
Hi,
In SAP ME 6.0 SP01 6.0.1.0 Counter 40, the activity "Change User Password" does not work for me or any other user.
The activity window (Netweaver) shows, but in the top it says "An error occurred - contact system administrator".
This is the output from the default trace file. Seems my user is not authorized, but where do I set this authorization?

Johan

Thanks you very much.It is unclear where you are having a problem. Is your issue at runtime (when the form runs in the browser) or when working in the Builder on the form?
Also be aware that you will need to sign your jar and include some new manifest entries. Refer to the Java 7u51 documentation and blogs that discuss the changes.

How to use Java as a Front-end app

If you have Forte's WebEnterprise product, and Forte version 3.0.G.x or
later, you have the ability to export an IIOP interface for any Forte
service object. In fact, you can go one step further and generate a Java
interface that "hides" the IIOP issues from the developer. The way you do
this is to do the following:
1) From the partitioning workshop, double click on the service object you
wish to expose as an IIOP interface. This will bring up the Service Object
Properties dialog.
2) Off the Export tab, set the External Type drop down to IIOP. If IIOP is
not an available option in the drop down list then you do not have
WebEnterprise install.
3) From here you need to set up the necessary IIOP configuration parameters
(see the documentation for details on the specifics of what the parameters
control).
4) If you want to have Forte generate a JavaBean interface and the necessary
Java classes to be called by your application then make sure you select the
Java parameter at the bottom of the Configuration dialog. If IDL is
selected then Forte will generate a generic IDL interface.
5) When you make your distribution Forte will generate the Java classes for
you.
This mechanism works very well for accessing a Forte service object from a
Java application.
Good Luck!
Jeff Wille

How come every time I change my password for iCloud, iMessage, Apple, it either messes up on my Mac or iPhone.
I'm not sure what you mean by "messes up", but the most common reason to have trouble with one device after changing the password from another is that you have to actually go around to all of your devices and change the saved password for your Apple ID on each one if you change it on one of them, they don't update automatically. If you change the password and don't change it on your devices, then they don't know the password has changed until you try to use them.

JNI - how to use java access function in TypeLibrary( .tlb file) HELP ME PL
Hey All
I got one project which can be done by calling up functions in xxxx.tlb
(window type library) file, that is no problem.
How to use java to access those functions???
I know there are some classes which can be used to access function in
DLL file e.g. JAWIN.
Is the .tlb file related to one DLL file??? if so, how to locate the
DLL file through .tlb file???
Thanks a lot.
SteveUse JNI to create a link between Java class and a DLL, then you can load that DLL (or TLB) from that class.
Read the JNI Tutorials.
