There is a LiveType (or LiveFonts) content section in the Library in Motion 4 (but NOT Motion 5 - LiveType is obsolete, much to my chagrin...) - but you can still import LiveType projects into Motion 4 just as you could in Motion 3 - a simple drag'n'drop from the finder will do; or use Import from the file menu.

How to use Reference type of Data Element

Hi guys, is there anyone could give me a trace how to use reference type of data element.
More details i'm going to reach is:
I create 2 tables:
eq.
1. table ZFIRST has field X with data element ZFX (Data element i declared).
2. table ZSECOND has field Y.
Here at field Y (second table) I'm going to declare a new data element say it ZFY, but in ZFY I'm going to use the data element as i declared before (ZFX). Is it possible if I do it using reference type data element (SE11)?
I already did this way, but I got error :
Field Y: Reference ZFX to class w/o interface cannot be used in DB table ZSECOND
What does it mean?. Did I miss something about using reference data element type?.
This error occurs when I activate ZSECOND table. However in creating ZFY (reference) to data element ZFX, there is no error occur.
The point is I need to RE-declared existing data element and ot put existing data element(ZFX) to my current table (ZSECOND).
Any helpful will be highly appreciated.

What does it mean?. Did I miss something about using reference data element type?.
Apparently system doesn't allow you to type a transparent table field with deep type. This refers to references and tables types as components. The RDBMS (Relational DB Management System) cannot interpret this componenets correclty and mapp them to TABLEs in DB.
So I am affraid you won't be able to type table component with reference to other data element.
The point is I need to RE-declared existing data element and ot put existing data element(ZFX) to my current table (ZSECOND).
Sorry but I don't get it, could you please explain this more clearly. Maybe then we can think of some workaround for you.

How to add Live Type in the external editor windows?

I was just refreshing myself by one of the FCP dvds from magent media where Even Schechtman show his window of External Editors in System Settings.
I have the latest FCP version but that line which reads "Live Type" in external editor window is missing. Though he didnt discuss anything on the dvd but made me curious of my observation.
How Can I add Live Type message box which can be checked in External editor Window?

This is something specific to FCP4.x ... it does not appear in FCP5.x
Final Cut Pro HD: LiveType does not appear in the External Editors tab
Under some circumstances, the External Editors tab (choose Final Cut Pro HD > System Settings) in Final Cut Pro HD does not display a setting for "LiveType Movie Files."
This can happen if you installed Final Cut Pro HD from a new Final Cut Pro HD disc, as opposed to installing it from an upgrade. If you upgraded from Final Cut Pro 4 to Final Cut Pro HD, you will not have this issue. If you upgraded from an earlier version of Final Cut Pro using an upgrade disc, you will not have this issue.
You can still add LiveType files to the timeline even if LiveType does not appear in the External Editors tab. The behavior may be slightly different, depending on whether you add a LiveType project file or a LiveType movie file to the Timeline.
If you add a LiveType project file (for example, MyProject.ipr) to the Timeline and then choose to open it in an External Editor, the file will open automatically in LiveType as a LiveType project.
If you add a rendered LiveType movie file to the Timeline and then choose to open it in an External Editor, the file will open in the Editor you've selected for Video Files (in the External Editors tab) or in QuickTime Player if none is selected.
In summary, "LiveType Movie Files," only appears if you upgrade to Final Cut Pro HD from an earlier version of Final Cut Pro 4. It is not required in the External Editors beacuse a LiveType project file will automatically open in the LiveType application and a movie rendered from LiveType will automatically open in QT Player.

OK, this might be slightly different as I'm in Motion 3
You can do this a few ways
1) Click on the LiveFonts icon in the library and start typing on the canvas -you might need to hiot play to see anything as it will be at the top of the animation
2) With text already on the canvas, click the font type to LiveFonts in the Format section of the Text tab in the inspector

How to use true type font in smartform with ECC6

I want to use true type font "Comic Sans MS.ttf".
I upload this font file by SE73 named ZTT2I.
In SE73.. select the Radio button "Font Families" And click on the "True type Font Installation" button. click the font attribute ITALIC。
Our print device is LP01 and driver is CNSAPWIN
when I create a new style in smartform using the font ZTT, in preview window the font still like other font.
Our system is ECC6, SAP_BASIS 700 level0017 packeg SAPKB70017
how can I solve this problem?

Now when I create smartfrom in language EN，it can output correct style of that font.
But if the smartform is base on language ZH, the output is not correct.
why? How to solve it?

How to use record type for inserting data into a table

I've read through the web the following tip:
"When working with a large number of columns, using variables of type RECORD is a better approach. With this approach, you do not have to list anything in the INSERT statement, because you are inserting a variable into the table that is defined as a row from the same table."
I usually define a variable as
r_mytable     mytable%ROWTYPE;
and inside my procedure I'll set the fields I need as
r_mytable.field1 := 1;
r_mytable.field3 := 7;
and then I perform the insert as
insert into mytable
(field1,
field3)
values
(r_mytable.field1,
r_mytable.field3);
According to the tip I've copied above, how can I use the TYPE RECORD of pl/sql for achieving the same result but perhaps in a smarter way?

How To Install Live Type In 10.8.3

Hi My self Varun, My English is not Good.
I am using 10.8.3
and i have Final Cut Studio 2.0 (48.52 GB)
1st i installed rosetta from my 10.6 installer
In 10.6 DVD there is a folder name Optional Installs.mpkg, run it and install rosetta, bcoz FCS 2 works with power pc and rosetta is a part of Power pc.
install rosetta.
Then Run FCS 2
first this window will open
Press OK
then this window is open
and finaly this window will appear
If u need only Live Type so uncheck the otheres, then install it.
After installing Live Type there is no live font in it, So you have to Run the other components of Live Type from FCS 2 folder
and Enjoy!

How to use complex types in a odata url filter

   I am in the process of building a service that uses a complex data type as input in a query filter. I am not sure how the url will need to be generated and also how to retireve this complex type in the get_entity_set method.
Example:
   I have a complex type as below:
Name:
with properties
Firstname
Lastname.
I would like to pass the name as a query filter. an I am not sure how to do this.
Should it be like this:
https://.../service/getdetails?$filter=Name.firstname eq 'John' and Name.Lastname eq 'Smith'
My second question is how do I retireve this filter in the get_entity_set method.

Shanaya,
You will have to take help of functional guys so that they can configure mentioned output type in NACE.
Apart from that you might have to do some coding as well with condition like
IF nast-kschl EQ 'ZCON' AND nast-nacha EQ '6'.
Please check NAST table for more details and let us know if you still need some help.

*Why all tmp2 members are similar to the last value of tmp?
