How to use Logic Pro for Windows 7?

I'm autistic, and am interesting in the music keyboards Apple sells. I would like to get Garageband and/or Logic Pro, but I have Windows 7 so I'm not sure if those kinds of software would work on that kind of system. Would they work on Windows 7, or if there's anything else I have to do?

None of the software (Logic, Garageband) is compatible between Mac OSX and Windows 7.
Your best choice is to look for similar programs avaialble on Windows.
There are several.. "Cubase" by Steinberg, "Sonar" by 12-Tone, and "ProTools" by Digidesign.

For sure, one to one training, if given by a tutor who is capable, will hand you the means to build up self-confidence and will therefore let you operate the hard/software in an intelligent manner, instead of going for the trial and error method which has its pro's and con's too. Once you've passed this beginners phase you will make your own decisions intelligently and then you will also start to get experience and learn even from your mistakes. Something like that in theory and the rest is up to you!

I don't think you will have sucess. The problem is that old versions of Logic on Windows had a 2GB memory limit. Which is below the limit for Window 8. I have only read about failures to run old Logic versions on recent Windows versions. Sorry.

the time before i worked with Fruity Loops and Reason to create Black Music Beats, freaky, i guess.
i'm sittin here for two weeks and i'm tryin to figure out how it works.
first, i have to know how i create my own beats without usin Loops and Samples, means, i wanna know how to insert Instruments and create Notes + Beats.

i second that. having worked with logic for about a year before i bought the level 1 program, i figured out a pretty good amount, but the video helped fill in the gaps. since you are totally new to logic, i think you'll find it even more helpful. only complaint i have is martin sitter's voice! i know, i know, who cares, but really it's pretty intense. if nothing else, he's just got a funny accent. canadian i think.

How to use Premiere Pro for live shoots (newbie needing some answers)

My school is about to delve into the world of live streaming. We have a homemade Tricaster setup of sorts which allows for us to use three camcorders through as switcher which allows for some nice streaming capabilities.
My question is, how do I use Premiere Pro, or something else, to run live titles/graphics, etc. into the production? You know, things like lower thirds, etc.?
Is this as simple as running another computer into a source on the switcher? If so, how do I get the graphics etc. to appear as simple key pages?
Sorry, I've never used Adobe during a live shoot before.
I'd love for someone in the know to explain the workflow here. Thank you so much!

How to use offline map for windows store app using c# and xaml

Hi friends,
I want to integrate offline map in my windows store app but I am not able to achieve that.
Below is my requirement:
When a user wants to go somewhere where she/he doesn't want to use wi-fi or mobile data but wants to use map to assist her/him to roam around. For this I want to give an option to download the map for that region/area before leaving for that place and there
she/he can use map even in offline.
Is it possible that I can achieve this using Bing maps?
If yes then tell me the processes to follow.
If no then can I achieve this using "Here" or by using any other API or by tweaking any way?
Note: I am showing maps in case of online and user can search for directions or any places in that. I am using Bing maps for that.

QuickTime Pro for Windows playback issue

Hi,
I'm using QT Pro for Windows for time lapse. Most times during playback the video stops halfway (or thereabouts) and then after a few seconds, jumps to the end.
Any help would be appreciated.

These are a series of JPEG (5184 x 3465) taken with a Canon T31 and opened with the QT Pro "Open Image Sequence" stored on my C: drive
I get the same result no matter how many frames I load. The playback does not always stop halfway, seems random. I have also noticed that if I play it back multiple times (10-12) the playback does get smoother.

Completely inappropriate, and they all also not help with volume adjustments. Fades will only apply to Audio Regions in the Tracks area: they will not fade out the complete mix unless you first Bounce it, add that to the Tracks area, apply the Fades with the Fade tool, then Bounce in Place (Again).
Much much better to make use of Track automation to take care of Volume adjustments, and to Fade out the end of the song by applying Track Automation to the Output Channel

Acrobat XI Pro for OSX can't open password-protected pdfs created using Acrobat 9 Pro for Windows

I am having problems opening password-protected files created on a PC using Acrobat 9 Pro. I am running a MacBook Pro OSX 10.8.4 with Acrobat XI Pro. When I attempt to enter the password when prompted, a dialogue box pops up saying that I've entered the incorrect password. After many attempts, I am certain that the password entered is correct -- this is reinforced by the fact that i am able to open the same document using Mac's Preview software.

I was suddenly having the same problem in Acrobat XI Pro for Windows (recently upgraded to CC from Acrobat X). For the past while I've sometimes had to use the "insert from file" tool to get a page added from another file. I couldn't figure out why dragging sometimes would no longer work, but was too busy to go looking for a solution until tonight.
The solution was given by JoshTatum24 above. Switch from a scrolling page display to single page display. Now I can drag pages between documents again. THANK YOU Josh!
Oh, and CORREAdmin, it does not matter whether the hand or arrow selection tool is active, my mouse pointer is always an arrow when positioned in the page thumbnails panel. Switching selection tools does not make a difference in dragging, but switching between scrolling and single page display definitely DOES make the difference.

Registration key for the Mac and Windows OS are brought separately. Meaning you need to buy one for the mac and one for windows. These keys aren't cross platform...sorry.
