How to use MathType in Visio 2013

How to type equations in MS Visio? I am using equation editor 3.0, but it is very hard to keep size of different objects as same. And I just know that equation editor is replaced by MathType, but I couldn't find it in my viso 2013, and no information of
using MathType in Visio in internet. So kindly help.

As far as I know MathType is an add-in for Office.
We can insert equation for Microsoft Equation 3.0, as an object. For this navigate to Insert tab, Click Object, that will open Object dialog to insert any object, select Microsoft Equation 3.0 from Object type, and click OK. Upon click a new window will
open up where you can customize equation.

    As far as I know, the Grid is shape in Visio, we could not merge the cells like Excel. Please try the workaround:
    Select the cells that need to merge>Format the shape> Choose no line
    Select the cells> right click> group

    Has there been any reporting of a bug in Visio 2013's File Locations option?
    Entering a folder path appears to have no effect on Open and Save dialog boxes for me. This option works fine in all the other Office 2013 applications I have used, but not Visio 2013.

    Ok, I see you were not trying to mail it, you're trying to send it to another library
    it could be the URL is too long. there is a 256 character limit, and maybe the URL that is getting generated exceeds the limit.

    My version of Visio 2013 is 64bit, that because my PC and most of the software is 64bit.  When I try to install the add-in for Visio it had error message of not being compatible.  I try your "Compatible web browers and PDFMaker applicatios" and notice that Visio 2013 64bit in not listed.
    When I try Adobe Acrobat support they told me they don't support Visio 2013 64bit.  They didn't say if or when they were going to support Visio 2013 64bit.  They suggested I use the Acrobat community forum on "Acrobat Feature Requests" and request the add-in for Visio 2013 64bit.  I am not happy with this.
    Do you know of any third party PDF that supports layers for Visio 2013 64bit?

  • Visio 2013 Org Chart Pictures using Exchange as a Data Source

    When I run the org chart wizard it creates the org charts however no pictures show up. How do I make the pictures show up when Exchange is the data source? We use Exchange 2010, Lync 2010, Outlook 2010 & 2013 and pictures show up in all those apps and
    are loaded in AD.

    Hi Visio pros,
    I am required to create a diagram of our servers rack setup and will be publishing to a Web page using Visio 2013.
    The goal is to mouse over the server shape and have the data be displayed. I have followed arguably every solution on the internet. I am either doing it wrong, or it might be outdated information.
    I'm hoping Paul Herber, or other Visio pros would be able to help me with this situation as I am on a tight schedule and have exhausted my resources.
    Things I have tried:

    However, after more reading I noticed the User.visEquivTitle provides a tooltip. If it is what I think it is, which is a small yellow box displaying a string, my employer would not want that.
    We're looking for something that will provide an aesthetic display of data after mouse over onto the shape.

    As an example, html widget has white background on iPad, and black on mac. The same goes for interactive widget.
    The MathType text inserted is inserted as a image, and will have the same color when in fullscreen as when not. So I need the textcolor to be the same in both views. Anyone know how to fix this?

    Here's a re-creation of my own, going off what you described. You said "all html widgets and all gallery widgets" have this problem. So I inserted a blank HTML widget and a blank Gallery widget, and typed into both. Inserted a MathType equation into both. I don't see any difference when I preview it on my Mac compared to the preview on the iPad. I want to help, but I can't help if I can't duplicate the issue.

    No, the one is just an extension cord,          just use the 45W charger with its attached thin cord and connect the magnetic magsafe to to the connector on the back left of the macbook Air for use and charging it

    As per the title, is it possible to use ODT to produce standalone Project/Visio 2013 packages without Office in there? I've tried it couple of times now but it will always ended up having the rest of the office suite in there.
    Here's an example of the configuration.xml used:
