how to use MS powerpoint in mac  i have purchased but can't use it

It is up to Microsoft to author Office products to  OS X Yosemite. Your best forum for help with MS Office is > Office for Mac - Microsoft Community
I would highly recommend posting your question with the Entire STORY of your buying, installing, using Powerpoint - "how to use MS powerpoint in mac  i have purchased but can't use it" is NOT enough to even begin to help

  • How to use spry on DreamWeaver Mac?

    ive been searching the web on how to use spry on the mac but i am unable to use it for some reason. HELP?!

    Hello,
    I quote from different contributions of the forum:
    "Spry has been deprecated and is no longer officially supported by Adobe", “Adobe abandoned Spry late last year after CS6 came out. Future products will probably not contain any Spry so learning to use jQuery is a valuable skill to have for the future.” “The news was released in August last year:
    http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/2012/08/update-on-adobe-spry-framework-availability.htm l”
    and: "All Spry framework related examples available here: http://adobe.github.com/Spry/samples/
    You may want to take a look at it. I'd recommend you switch to a jQuery library for your further requirements.

  • How to use back to my mac from iOS?

    I have enabled back to my mac on my macbook running ML and have enabled the same for my user ID in the airport express router to which the macbook pro is connected.
    i would like t know how i can access the shared folder from my ios devices while
    within the wifi network
    outside the wifi network over the ios devices 3g internet.
    tried a lot to figure it out since many months now.
    Neerav

    Just some additional info.  For basic back to my mac to work you need a router (any brand) that supports UPNP or NAT-PMP - or an apple airport router device (Airport Extreme, Time Capsule or Airport Express) (which must be configured as your primary router - and not in "bridge" mode).  You need at least two Macs - one in your house - and one as the remote device.  You need to set up your iCloud id on both Macs and enable Back to My Mac in iCloud preferences - using the same icloud id for both Macs.  You also need to ensure that you have enabled at least "Screen Sharing" in the sharing preferences of both Macs - and optionally enable File Sharing.  You will see the Mac in the other Mac's shared pane - in Finder - both locally and remotely.
    If you are using an Apple router (airport extreme, express or time capsule) - the icloud id's that you enter on airport device (via airport utility) - are only for the purpose of remote sharing of drives and printers attached to that airport device - and are not related to the back to my mac functionality.  If you don't need to remote share the printers or drives directly attached to the airport device (via USB) - then you do not need to enter any iCloud id's on the airport device itself.
    For example - you have a time capsule set up as a router.  You have 3 people in your house that want to remotely access files on the Time Capsule's drive(s).  You would enter your iCloud id, along with the iCloud id's of other household members.  You would then all be able to independently share the time capsule drive remotely.
    With an Airport Express router - you would only be able to share a USB printer attached to the Airport Express.
    As for iPad - there may be 3rd party apps that would mimic the Back to My Mac functionality - but to the best of my knowledge there is no Apple-provided Back to My Mac app for the iPad.

  • How to use flashdrive on a Mac book Pro in the parallels partition

    I cannot use a flashdrive in the Parallels partition (windows XP) of my mac book pro. The flash drive works on the mac side fine. I get this message:
    USB device you are trying to connect to the virtual machine is being used by another process. Wait 5-10 seconds, then try to connect the device again. If this does not help, find the application that blocked up the device and disconnect it manually.
    Following this advice does not remedy the problem at all. How can I get the flash drive to work on both sides: Mac and PC?

    When you remove the flash drive are you ejecting it or just unplugging it? If the latter then you need to use the system eject to remove it. You must also eject it properly from within Windows.
    It would help if you provided the version of OS X you are using in your configuration as well as more info on the hardware model and configuration. This information helps us know about your setup in order to provide assistance.
    Also, what version of Parallels are you using? Do you have USB support turned on in Parallels configuration? Have you searched the Parallels forum for possible solutions or posted your problem on their forum? This should be your first place to look for help, not the Apple Discussions.

  • How to use window programs on mac

    im new at using mac and would like to download a program online, that is only compatible with windows.
    what do i need, and how can i get the program to work on my mac?

    windows programs will only run in a windows environment, and Mac applications will only run in a Mac environment.
    To do what you want, you need to install a windows environment on your Mac like parallels;
    http://forums.parallels.com/
    and then install into it, a windows OS like XP, and then you can run your windows program; which seems a lot of trouble to me, but you can do this.
    On the other hand you could just buy a windows laptop, or find an application (that's what Macs call programs) that does the same thing that is written for the Mac.

  • How to use tv as a mac book monitor

    I AM TRYING TO HOW TO WATCH MY MAC ON TV SCREEN. I HAVE ALREADY CONNECT MY TV WITH MAC , WITH  MINI DVI ADAPTER  AND CABLE AND I SAW THAT THE MAC RECOGNIZE THE TV BUT I CAN'T SEE THE ICONS THAT ARE ON MY MAC ON TV. I CAN SEE ONLY DESKTOP BACKGROUND. WHAT DID I DO WRONG?

    <http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5019>
    Note:  many TVs have overscan so you may miss the edges of the picture.  This can be serious if the menu bar or dock go off the screen.  Look for picture size settings on the TV.  Some TVs cannot disable overscan.  In that case, look for overscan or underscan settings in the OS X Displays system preference.

  • How to use java.nio on Mac?

    I am getting the error "cannot find symbol" on "Path", "FIles", etc. I am using javac and java 1.8.0_20 on Mac OS X 10.9.2 and the Terminal. Thanks.
    import java.io.*;
    import java.nio.*;
    class a{
         public static void main(String args[]) throws IOException{
              Path directorio = "/Users/Josue/Desktop/";

                   DirectoryStream<Path> stream = Files.newDirectoryStream(dir);
                   for( Path file: stream ){
                        System.out.println(file.getFileName());
              catch ( DirectoryIteratorException x ){
                   System.err.println(x);

    Before you answer, I got the solution (from somewhere else), it was because I didn't import explicitly the  classes Files, Paths, etc.
    But I don't understand why  .*  didn't work to do it?

  • Old Airport Express how to use with my Yosemite mac computer?

    old AirPort Utility 5.6.is not working with  yosemite
    i can't use anymore with my old apple airport express? i can;t configure ...
    is there is

    Yosemite, and other recent operating systems do not support the older AirPorts.
    Listed in order of preference with the third option not recommended for most users, and the fourth option not recommended at all.
    1) Use...or borrow for a few minutes....a Mac running Leopard (10.5.x), Snow Leopard (10.6.x) or a PC with AirPort Utility installed on the device.
    2) Replace the 8+ year old AirPort Express with a new version
    3) Use Boot Camp on your Mac to install Windows, then download and install AirPort Utility for Windows.
    4) Download unsupported software from the Internet from an unknown source, which requires that you change default security settings on your Mac.
