How to use multiple senders with one account

I have not moved from Entourage to Mail because I cannot figure out how to change sender addresses while using the same SMTP server.
It is easy to do in Entourage. Is it possible in Mail?

Not sure what you mean, but associating multiple email addresses with the same mail account is described in Mail Help’s “Adding multiple email alias addresses to an account” article.

Hi all,
I have a BIS account with my provider and a paid gmail account which collect for me mails from different address. Is it possible to set multiple senders for this account, thus it seems that I'm replying from one of these address and not only from my google address? In fact, it's important for me also that all mails come out from the same SMTP server (google).

For the BlackBerry to "send using" a specific email account, it must be set up on your BIS account as an email account, otherwise, you can send from that account.
You can do that, and then block ALL incoming emails from those accounts, and allow only incoming mail from your one Gmail account, if you desire.

Photoshop crashes while using multiple windows with one image

Has anyone else encountered the following problem:
Photoshop CS4 crashes sooner or later when working with multiple windows with one image (window->arrange->new window for...).
I remember having same problem since CS2. Is this a bug in Photoshop or am I having a bad luck?
Technical specifics:
Ps CS4, iMac, 21.5, 10.6

Don't know. I haven't heard of other people having that problem.
Do you have a crash report I could look at?
Or have you attached your email to crash reports sent to Adobe and can you tell me the date on one of them?

How to use Multiple Logos in One Smart Form?

All,
I have a client where they will have 2 logos for, e.g. "Invoicing" and want the form to decide which logo to print (based on plant code).
We are using Smartforms.
They want to use one form and based on the plant code - the form should determine which logo to print in the upper left corner of the invoice - how do you do this?
This is not like having text to print on the form in the same place - my understanding is the logo is NOT some variable you can "clear" in the program and then use the logo you wish to show up on the printout.
Does this have something to do with using multiple layouts within the same form? You define a layout for each logo and then within the Smartform logic determine which layout to print? And if that is true - does someone have sample code of how they determined which layout to use?

Create two Graphics in Smartform window & place them wherver you want in the smart form.
Now in Graphics node, you can find 'Conditions' tab, under this you can give the conditions.

Connect the iOS device, select it from the left column under "devices" and just don't check those items in iTunes:
Un-check the appropriate boxes for Contacts, etc. You can set these individual preferences for each iPhone and iPod Touch.

How to use two iPhones with one iCloud account

I am really confused at how to set our iPhones up.
My wife and I each have an iPhone 5.
We have one iCloud account because we share our calendar and contacts.
I did get her her own iCloud account to add some calendar events I don't need to sync.
That is working all well and good.
The only problem is Siri. It says my name to her when she makes a request. So I went in to Siri and choose her name out of contacts. Then it starts calling me by her name on my iPhone.
Obvioulsy Siri is linked via iCloud and I am not seeing a setting to change that.
If we could share calendars between two different iCloud accounts all would be well.
Can we. Can I set my calendar up as something she can subscribe to?

About Siri, it must know who you are. To do that, go to: Settings>>General>>Siri>> My Information. There, you can select your own information, like name, phone number, home address, office address and so on.
About Calendars, you can set what you want to share with her, and what she wants to share with you as well. To do it, you must set it in two different places:
1o: Set with iCloud: Settings>>iCloud, there you can set if you want to sync with;
2o: Set which kind of calendars you want to sync: Calendars>>Calendars, there if you want to sync Calendars, but you won't sync your Work Calendars, unmark Work. It will private your Work Calendars just with your iPhone device.
3o: General settings of your Calendars: Settings>>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>>Calendars, there you can setthe period of events you want to sync and set your Standard Calendar.

How to use multiple formats in one JFormattedTextField

I am looking for a way to allow multiple formats in the same JFormattedTextField. Let's say I want to allow input like:
a) 123-AB-123
and
b) AB-12345-CD
Of course I could use an InputVerifier of my own combined with regular expressions to see if the input matches. But I like the way JFormattedTextField supports the UserInput by displaying a Placeholder String. So the User sees what the input might look like.
I'd tried to write a FormatterFactory of my own, which will return either a MaskFormatter for a) or b) but the JFormattedTextField checks out the Formatter only when gaining or loosing focus. What should happen is that it checks out the formatter after each keystroke.
Does anyone know a solution for this or how I could force the FormattedTextField to REget it's formatter?

Unfortunately, this does not support the 'placeholder' notion like the MaskFormatter does, if that's what you were talking about. I'm not sure how you could cobble them together, since with the MaskFormatter you don't have to type the mask literal characters, but you would need to with the regular expression.

What is the best way to set up Facetime if using multiple computers with one apple ID?

I currently have FaceTime setup on my iPad 2 using my normal appleID, but have just recently upgraded our iMac from Leopard to Snow leopard, and have added FaceTime to that computer as well. So my question is this. If I want to avoid confusion with which device is called when someone calls us using FaceTime, what is the best way to distinguish the devices? Should I try to use a different email address to reach the iMac? Is there a best-known-method for this?

That's a nice system Kevin, and it will work very nicely with Photoshop. I do take it that you have 16Gb RAM in Total?
250Gb SSD is a good size, but you can still run short, and that will affect Windows performance. When you get your system, instal WinDirStat which gives you a graphic display of everything on your drive, like below. Clicking on any of the large areas will tell you what and where they are, so you can think about moving cache folders etc. to one of the HDDs.
Leave the Pagefile.sys on the boot drive. Think about disabling Hyphenate as it takes a ton of space, and too often crashes on wake up.

Think about another 500Gb drive just for Photoshop Scratch. Drives are cheap as chips nowadays
Do yourself a favour, and invest $100 in Shadow Protect (or similar if there is such a thing) SP saves incremental backups every 15 minutes (you can set the interval, but it has no impact on performance with a system like yours). If you have a problem you can mount the back up at any of those 15 minute points, and open files from it. You can also make a bootable DVD image of your C drive, and be back up and running five minutes after disaster strikes.
