I don't know whether it's possible to install it on Mavericks and if you do it may not perform properly.
Final Cut pro X and iMovie are the only Apple apps that are supported.

Previously, the Mail settings on my iPhone and MacBook Pro were set exactly as I wanted them to be: If I opened a Mail message on my phone, it stayed in the inbox only until I opened the Mail App on my MacBook Pro, at which time it downloaded onto the notebook and disappeared from the iPhone. This is how I want it, as I have no need for duplicate emails in multiple locations.
I recently had to reformat the hard drive on the MascBook Pro and reinstall all the software and data. Unfortunately, I was not able to save the Mail preferences, and now my Mail App works differently: Mail messages remain on both the iPhone and the Mac, and if I delete a message on one device it also disappears from the other.
Can anyone help me to figure out how to get the settings and preferences back to the way they were originally? Thanks for any information anyone can provide.

Are you using Mac Mail - the icon that looks like a stamp?
If yes, you can create Mailboxes. (click on Mailbox in the menu bar and select New Mailbox...) These are folders and are visible in Mail.
You store the mail you wish to archive in appropriate folders.

I am aware that I could not use both devices at the same time and from what I've read on here, once you've bought creative suite you may install it onto two devices. I'm just wondering how I go about installing onto my iMac, also with consideration that it is a older version of Creative Suite.

Forgot my apple password, had to change it due to hard drive problem on my iphone 4 which had to be totally erased then rebouted and now works but cannot download from my computer/icloud due to password change. if you have a download problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies so that's (a restrictive browser setting) another potential source of problems.

No DV port in camcorder. Just a yellow AV port/hole. I did find a Canopus ADVC110 device in a box that was bought several years ago to convert VHS tapes onto DVD's. Can I use this with a Mac? Could I connect a dvd player to the Canopus and transfer the disks onto my Mac? Or, connect the camcorder via AV port to the Canopus and that to the Mac and transfer that way? Thanks again!

When i try to report the problem, it says it has found an issue and gives me a link to a solution....but wont let me click on the link.... PLEASE HELP! It's killing my productivity.

If the crash started right after you added RAM, it could be a bad Ram dimm. You can try this - change the amount of RAM in Photoshop to 4G, this should stop Photoshop from using the higher ram. If it doesn't crash, it's probably the ram. Or run a diagnostic app. You don't say when it crashes, what you're doing when it crashes - it there a pattern? Did it ever work on this computer? Did it work on your previous computer? Without a lot of data, it could be related to the new computer... What OS version? Did you recently update it? Have you updated Photoshop to the most recent update?
Do you have any plug-ins loaded? Try restarting Photoshop, and immediately press & hold the shfit key to turn off plug-ins.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
Adobe software is conflictive when you use Migration Assistant because their applications don't work properly after migration. If you keep the DVDs or the installers of your software, use them to reinstall all your Adobe applications and they should start working correctly

Why would you want to do this? It's harder than copying the file in Java (by reading the file and writing it to a new file) and you'll need to write new code each time you want to port your code to a new OS.

I may be misreading what you are trying to do but you don't import libraries via the import window. You use File->Import->Library..
If this doesn't resolve your problem post back with more detail of what you are doing and what is happening.

No, you would need to upgrade the MacBook to a 2011 MacBook Pro that also has Thunderbolt.

How is ram shipped in new imacs

this might be in a thread but i couldn't find it. i'm gonna be in the market for a new imac. the specs say it ships with 2gb ram. i know there are only two slots. i just wanted to make sure that apple doesn't achieve 2gb with 2 1gb sticks (which would occupy both slots). if they ship with one 2gb stick, i can but another 2gb stick to upgrade to 4gb (2gb stick only costs $40 at crucial, bto from apple costs $100).
anyway, does anyone know how they ship?

All I can say is be sure to hold on to the Apple installed RAM in case the RAM you buy turns out to fail. You'll at least be able to tell if the RAM you buy failed, or if the RAM slots themselves have failed neccessitating a logicboard repair. Also be sure the RAM you get is indicated to be compatible for the iMac you buy not just by Apple spec, but by Mac model as the manufacturer knows it to be. Many RAM may appear to be the same spec on the surface, but some are optimized for the specific vintage of Mac model in question.
