Both have windows 7
I can connect my phone to internet via laptop wifi

No, the one is just an extension cord, just use the 45W charger with its attached thin cord and connect the magnetic magsafe to to the connector on the back left of the macbook Air for use and charging it

You need to download and install the latest Ovi suite and install it on your laptop. Connect your phone to your laptop via usb or bluetooth in PC Suite mode. In Ovi suite, goto Tools > Connect to Internet. After setting your country and carrier, the suite will connect you to the internet via your phone.
Note that this will connect you using your phone carrier's network, so you will incur data costs on your phone plan.

I have gone through the below sample and am able to stream the live content using wireacst camera.

But i want to use Phone camera to stream the live video rather using wirecast camera.
How can i use that? How to get the published URL from the C# code, is there any API to get that?

Hello,
There are no in box components that will allow you to transmit captured video from a Windows Phone device to Azure Media Services. You will need to create you own implementation. You can do this by creating a custom Media Foundation sync that can plug into
the MediaCapture element's pipeline. You will then need to modify the captured and compressed video to align to one of the two protocols that Azure Media services can use. At this time Azure Media services can use either Smooth Streaming or RTMP for ingestion.
You will need to create your own packager (or find compatible packager code from a 3rd party) to package the MP4 encoded data into the necessary format.
Here is an example of how to create a custom Media Foundation sync (please note you must write your Media Foundation components using C++ MoCOM. We do not support Media Foundation components written in managed languages):

HT4783 I'm trying to learn how to use Airdrop between my wife's Mac and mine. We both have it, but this article did not help us learn HOW to share files. Yippeee that we can...but HOW?

My wife and I are trying to learn how to use Air Drop. The "tutorial" showed us where it is. It came up. I saw hers (Mac). She saw mine (Mac). But where to go after that is, apparently, in the cloud somewhere. The description says we can share files...which is nice...but nothing tells us HOW to share those files.

1. Open a new Finder window or use one that's already open
2. Click on Airdrop, press Shift+Command+R, or find "Airdrop" in the "Go" menu
3. Drag your file to the icon of the person you want to send the file to (if you have mountain lion, you can use the share button).
4. The other person has to click "save"
5. The file will send and appear in the receiver's downloads folder
In Mountain Lion, a new feature was added: the share button. It's a button with a picture of a box and an arrow jumping out of it. Click on it and the third (and last) option is "Airdrop" and clicking on it will allow you to send files over Airdrop without opening it in Finder.

Plug in the Adapter and the cable to the adapter and the other end of the cable to a switch or router then Reboot the system. Then check the Network section in System Preferences to see if the Ethernet shows up. If it does your done. If not then you have a bad adapter, a bad cable, both bad adapter and cable or the Thunderbolt port is bad.
Or at the last a corrupted install of OS X.

Hi,
Could you please make sure your binding style(Oracle Positional,Oracle named..etc) of the Seeded VO and Custom Vo are same.
This is the option you will get when you are extending your vo. So make sure that both are same.

Sending email using phone signal not wifi

Dear all,
I would appreciate any help. I have two pop email accounts set up on my iphone. When connected to wifi both send and receive emails. However when connected via O2 signal (Uk) then the accounts will only receive and not send. In stead i get an rror message about the outgoing smtp server
Can anyone help?

Here's a solution that will work with both wifi and GPRS/EDGE connection. Use the smtp.o2.co.uk hostname for the Ougoing Server but also add your o2 username (full email address) and o2 password into the Outgoing Server fields.

Find in the online help the values for the SOAP adapter.
You can only add additional fields, you cannot influence the standard field like content-type and content-id.

If I had my phone such as an iphone and I wanted to measure the length of something I could put it at one end of the item, click something and put it at the other end of the thing I want measured and it would tell me the length of that object.

If you're looking for precision then no, GPS will definitely not be enough.
I'd suggest considering some alternatives but even those are going to be quite difficult.
You have the method your own mouse uses which is snapping a low resolution picture of a surface as you move over it analyzing the picture to see how far you've moved frame to frame (requires some fairly sophisticated image analysis).
Otherwise possibly some means of snapping a photo from multiple angles while analyzing them for perspective differences which can tell you distance, but isn't user friendly and won't work unless you're close to the object (a bridge far away will barely move when you do, won't work).
Accelerometer still isn't up to snuff (you can read why in many places) but things are getting better.

You need to activate the iPhone with your Roger's line/number.

I have used the PC suite software to connect my N900 to my computer. On there, there is an option to connect to the internet via the phone but it seems that this is done only via the phone's 3.5G capability.
I was hoping that I could choose either 3.5G or the Wifi.
I have a desktop computer at home that does not have a wifi card nor is it connected to my network via a CAT5 cable. So connecting it to the phone is the only option I have. Connecting through the phone's wifi capability would be more economical than using the 3.5G subscription.
Does anyone know if one can switch between the 3G and the Wifi int eh PC Suite ?

How to use Phone enrolment for an Intune account?

I have created a Microsoft Intune account and setup a signed company hub for phone devices.
But I cannot work out what information to enter into the Windows Phone 8.0 -> settings -> company apps in order to enrol the phone onto Intune. I have an Intune user called '[email protected]'. So I can log into Intune online by using this
account with the appropriate password.
But on the phone when it asks for email address I enter '[email protected]'. But it fails saying I should check the email address and server address. Should I be entering something else instead?
