How to use Purchased software after using CS4 trial...

My issue is probably easy but I'm not sure how to convert back to my purchased Adobe Acrobat.
I have a disk for Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Professional but I downloaded a trial of Adobe Design Premium CS4 which includes Adobe Acrobat 9.0. The trial is now over and it keeps giving me this message "Adobe Acrobat was downloaded as a part of a suite, please open another application (such as Photoshop) to continue" or something like that. Well the trial is over so this does not matter...it will not open even if I open something else - it's waiting for me to enter a purchase key.
Lord help me, I can open my documents in Adobe Acrobat 7.0 - which I do not even know how I have that on my computer but as you know it does not have the same functions. I cannot create a PDF and I cannot use the mark-up tools. How do I use the ‘my’ 8.0 Professional for now without uninstalling the Design Premium Suite - or do I have to uninstall it for now? I am planning on purchasing the Design Premium, just cannot afford it right this minute but I do need the Adobe Acrobat up and functioning.

Probably not a problem. You didn't mention which software you were concerned about, but some of the ones that are the most fussy about licensing include those from Adobe and Microsoft. Do you have any of those?
Adobe explicitly states that you should deauthorize on the old computer before installing on a new one (or migrating to a new one). But any issues you might encounter really depend on which versions of the Adobe software you have. I have migrated over older versions of Photoshop and Photoshop Elements and they ran fine on the new computer, even with the old computer up and running at the same time. The newer ones might check to see if the same serial number is running on more than one computer and tell you to deauthorize one of them. But since you aren't actually running the software on the old computer now, this might be fine.
I recently migrated Adobe Photoshop CS4 from an older computer to a new one and it would not run on the new one until I completely uninstalled it there and then reinstalled from scratch. So you may need the install disks and serial numbers anyway.
With Microsoft Office (2011), the migration worked fine but it required re-entry of the serial numbers on the new computer. If you run MS-Office on both the old and new computers simultaneously, it may notice that and refuse to run both at the same time. Again, not a problem for you since your old computer is not operational.
In any instance, should you run into trouble, you can contact Microsoft or Adobe (or other companies for other software) and they will reset the licenses from their end so you can use the software on your new computer.
By the way, if you use iTunes, you can do something like that from the iTunes Store, where you deauthorize all computers in order to get the old one off the list of authorized computers.

How to get purchased software to override Expired Trial Notice?

When I try to use my recently installed purchased version of Photoshop CS5, the message comes up that my trial of Photoshop CS5 Extended has expired.
So, I tried deleting all the Photoshop files and reinstalling. Same issue.
I spent time on the phone with Adobe customer service today and all they had me do was the same as above, again. I am still getting the same message that my trial of Photoshop CS5 Extended has expired and do I want to purchase it now. How do I get rid of this erroneous window that is blocking me?!?
Each of the 4 times I have unistalled/reinstalled, I have entered the correct serial # for the purchased item during installation. Of course when I try to also enter it in the expired trial notice (that pops up each time I open Photoshop to use it after installaion), it doesnt accept the # since I purchased only Photoshop not Extended.
As far as I could tell, I deleted all the Photoshop software files on my Mac, not just those that were cleared with the Adobe Uninstall option, why am I still getting blocked from using what I purchased? Any ideas on where else I might find items from the Trial Version that I need to delete in order to be able to use my purchased copy?
(Also, the re-installed application is clearly marked Photoshop CS5, not Extended...)

The difference between Photoshop and Photoshop Extended is the serial number. The installation is exactly the same, so no amount of uninstalling and reinstalling will make a difference here. When you enter your serial number, Photoshop at that point decides whether it is going to be Extended or not.
The problem here is that the application is not accepting your serial number, until your serial number is accepted, you will not be able to get out of trial mode. Where did you get the serial number? Could you send it to me to verify? (bnemecek [AT] adobe [DOT] com)

Does After Effects CS4 Trial have all of the features?

I was wondering if there is any difference apart from the 30 day limit, in the Trial version and the Full version of Adobe After Effects CS4? Is there any features that are in the Full version, but not the Trial?

The After Effects CS5.5 and later trial versions do not have this problem.

How can I execute program after using F4_Filename function?

I'm a new user on the forum. I've been working with ABAP and SAP for a few weeks. I wrote a program for importing data from excel file to SAP using BDC. During searching this forum I found information about F4_Filename function which allows users to browse the disc for a file. I'd like to add this function to my program. I have a parameter for a file name but this is an ordinary static string field. When I added the code which I found in the message on this forum the rest of program doesn't execute.
This is simple program for example:
REPORT Z_TEST8_AB.
DATA f_name TYPE STRING.
PARAMETERS p_file like rlgrap-filename DEFAULT 'c:\test.xls'.
f_name = p_file.
write:/ f_name.
This program works correctly. There is a field for parameter. I can change the default name for a file.
After all, I can run the program (F8) and rest of the code is executed. The field for parameter dissapears from the screen and the file name is displayed. ( command write)
Now I added a function F4_Filename

Using Twixtor in After Effects CS4

I am trying to use Twixtor in Adobe After Effects CS4 and all seems to be working well until I export the clip. It seems to take a 80MB clip and turn it into an 800MB clip. Is this normal? My computer lags when I play the 5sec clip because it is so large.

How to run Cloned OSX after using CCC?

I've just cloned my OSX Tiger 10.4.11 to an 80GB External HD ising CCC 'Carbon Clone Copy'. I right clicked to 'get info' on the External HD and it's reading 31GB used, but when I do the same from my internal HD, it's reading 33GB. Am I missing something at 2GB, or is that usual?
When I used CCC, I used the 'Copy all selected items' (and made sure everything was checked) because a message came up when I tried to 'Copy everything from source to target'. It said: The target volume is not large enough to accommodate a block-level clone. So I opted for the 'Copy all selected items'.
Is this why i'm missing 2GB maybe?
Also, When I open the external hard drive from teh desktop, everything's there in folders. But how do I run this 2nd HD? I restarted the laptop to see if it would give me an option to run which HD (just like logging on as different users, but I only have 1 user account and it opens automatically).
I'm going to install Leopard to this External HD but want to know how I will run it after?
Any advice appreciated!

I'm posting from a new account because I couldn't log on from my home PC (said my account has been suspended or something similar)
I got 10.5 Leopard installed onto my External HD on my MacBook Pro. It shows up as 10.5 when I go into System Preferences > Startup. I choose the External HD with 10.5 to restart/reboot and then wait. It loads but it's the exact same as my original 10.4.11?
Tried restarting it again and again and switching between the Internal HD and External HD but there's no difference even though it says so in the Startup window in System Preferences.
When i'm in my Internal HD and open the External HD on the desktop, I can see the proper files and when I open Applications folder I can see the few new applications such as Time Machine and the System Preferences icon (the same as the setting icon on the iPhone).
Anybody know what went wrong?
I was away when it was installing (said 50 minutes to go when installing leopard) so I came back after 40 minutes and it was just in the process of restarting the laptop. Everything normal came up and I waited a minute, then ejected the CD and booted up the External HD to find that it was no different.

the boxes in each corner that are there before hitting return stay there.
i have to click on another layer to rid them .
for example if i use warp do what i have to do then hit return those guide boxes remain
instead of clearing after i hit return ( the normal )
do i have to trash prefs?
why are these boxes lingering instead of clearing after i have completed the step?
