How to use Relational Access Administrator from Express Administrator

I added the following [Relational Access Administrator] group to my xadmin.ini file:
[Relational Access Administrator]
InUse=-1
ExePath=f:\OraExpClnt\olap\Ead630\xadmin.exe
The Relational Access Administrator under Tools in the Express Administrator is still greyed out and I cannot access it.
Did I missed any step ? Any suggestions on how to make the Relation Access Administrator show ?

Hi
When yr SAP is running at time u need to connect yr add-on Copyexpress. (CE)
then go in tool > open copy express
onces yr CE is open i other windows select source & target company.
Take a backup
select BP and upload (it wil take som time)
I hope this r basic step

I have the same issue with relative links using Captivate 8. I am trying to load Captivate modules into an LMS using relative links to document files within the LMS. The links work fine during a site page test so not an issue in the LMS, but from the Captivate module they aren't working....

Yes you need to create one DSN connection and you have to use DSN name and login details at the time of building/loading of the outline.
Create DSN
Goto Administrative tools -> DataSources (ODBC) and add the DSN name and specify the Server name of SQL and login details and database.
goto data prep editor and click on File Menu and Click on Open SQL option Next window opens.
There you have to enter the details of the DSN connection and SQL query to build/load.

If the type of inner table is standard table, you should sort the inner table by the fields before user 'DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES ', and use COMPARING addtion.

(window type library) file, that is no problem.
How to use java to access those functions???
I know there are some classes which can be used to access function in
DLL file e.g. JAWIN.
Is the .tlb file related to one DLL file??? if so, how to locate the
DLL file through .tlb file???

Use JNI to create a link between Java class and a DLL, then you can load that DLL (or TLB) from that class.

Help me which JNDIFactory to use to access EJB from a java class of JAR

I am confused in understanding the different JNDI factories
RMIInitialContextFactory, ApplicationInitialContextFactory and ApplicationClientInitialContextFactory
And the different namespaces like global, container local and component local.
Especially is there any relationship between the JNDI factories and the namespaces?
Or are they related to the deployment descriptors.
Because in application specific deployment descriptors (orion-ejb-jar.xml), we just map the JNDI location with the object (or its reference from ejb-jar.xml). We dont specify it can be accessed from this factory or that.
Shall we access an EJB from using any JNDI factory?
Specifically, I am stuck with what Factory to use to access an EJB from a Java class in a library (jar). The JAR is packaged with the EAR which contains the EJB Jar that I am trying to access.

There are three ways to create OLAP metadata on a relational schema.
1) OEM - You can use the Dimension and Cube wizards in Enterprise Manager (Administration Tab -> BI & OLAP link) to create the required additional metadata to enable OLAP queries against an existing relational schema. However, you cannot save the steps or resulting script to a SQL file for re-use. This is more a one-off method for quickly and easily creating OLAP metadata.
2) OWB - A more scalable solution is to use Warehouse Builder. Even if you have an existing schema you can import the tables/views and then create new dimensions and cubes and map those tables to those objects. The deployment information can be saved to a script
3) You can refer to the OLAP developers guide to help you manually create the SQL scripts to generate the CWM OLAP metadata against existing tables.
Make sure you have all the required database patches in place:
9i - at least 9.2.0.7
10gR1 - at least 10.1.0.4
10gR2 - at least 10.2.0.3

Some months ago i have made workflows in siebel 8 and many times happened that i falled in situations and errors that were very very tricky to understand...workflow UI in that version, really needs some improvements.

But I always got the error: "Protocol and parameter selection not supported by this terminal!"
I've tried to make an ATR that support both protocol : [url http://smartcard-atr.appspot.com/parse?ATR=3b909580811fc7dc]3B 90 95 80 81 1F C7 DC.
I really don't know what value to put in the second parameter (baud rate), I've tried with 150000, which is in the range of the ATR but I'm not sure this is correct. And I could't find any example of it.
I'm also not sure where to put the pps command, the specification say directly after a reset, so I tried this implementation:

I'm using a virtual terminal (windows driver), and I don't see how I could turn off the Auto-pps. I've also tried with a real reader and a card and I have the same error.

But I don't know if only I value of baud-rate is possible in the range. Anyway I just would like to change the protocol, not the baud-rate.

How to use Direct Access URL in the FORM tag

I want to substitute the pageid url (/servlet/page?_pageid=161&_dad=portal30&_schema=PORTAL30) with the direct access urls (pls/portal30/url/page/my_page) to address the pageid conflict between development server and production server.
It works perfectly fine in the redirection code such as:
self.location.href="/pls/portal30/url/page/next_page". But I got "Page can not be found" error message when I use it in the <FORM> tag:
<FORM ACTION="/pls/portal30/url/page/next_page" METHOD="POST" NAME="my_form">
Does anyone out there know how to use the direct access url inside the <FORM> tag? I am trying not to write a bunch of code just to retrieve and insert the pageid at the run time.

I am trying to set the insert allowed property for the subtab based if the no.of records in the sub tab is less than 2. So i tried the following expressions in the insert allowed property
1. #{bindings.OvrBrowseTypesIterator.estimatedRowCount < 2} which leads to compilation errors - no start tag found etc..
2. #{bindings.OvrBrowseTypesIterator.estimatedRowCount ls 2} which leads to runtime error - encountered "ls" at line 1 col 1752 when expecting one of the following "(" , "<" , ">" etc....
Please advise if any one has used relational operators in the EL.

I found the mistake. I should use "lt" instead of "ls" for less than.
#{bindings.OvrBrowseTypesIterator.estimatedRowCount lt 2} works fine.
