Hi Ramesh,
Export and import statements were not allowed to use in classes. Create a global variable in public section of that class of type of export parameter.Then pass value to the global variable of class by calling that class.

1. If you want to use same SUP server for all the DOE clients then:
- you need to download the bundle from SDOE_ESDMA_DESIGN transaction from each client
- You should deploy the ESDMA bundle multiple times in SUP with different names
2. If you want to use differnt SUP server for each client in DOE then:
- you need to download the bundle from SDOE_ESDMA_DESIGN transaction from each client
- Deploy in each SUP server. It can be same name everywhere.

Solaris/SAP Memory Analysis/Audit

Experts,
We have a landscape that is only a couple of years old, but seeing some paging and buffer issues. We are running in a solaris/Oracle environment, and I was wanting to do some memory analysis, or a memory audit to make sure that we had everything configured correctly.
Memory is not really my stong suit, so if any of you have some handy resources that you dont mind sharing, I would like to research and better understand.
Our Prod Landscape is this:
Sun e2900 (#1) 8cpu (multicore) 64g
Global Zone - Ecc 600 ASCS /Oracle 10.2 Cluster (Slave)
Local zone - BI 7 CI+DB
Local Zone - XI 7 CI+DB
Sun e2900 (#2) 8cpu (multicore) 64g
Global Zone - Ecc 600 ASCS /Oracle 10.2 Cluster (Master)
Local zone - ECC CI
Qty 3 - Sun V490 (#1, #2, #3) 4cpu (Multicore) 16g
Global Zone - OS only
Local zone - ECC APP
Local zone - BI APP
Local zone - XI APP
I have the performance tuning book, and have been studying up on buffers and parameters. But first mainly looking to research how memory is assigned, where, and determine if any changes need to be made, or there is memory room to increase buffers.

Apologies. I was struggling with how exactly to articulate the question. And even more with how to go about determining where we are with our memory both inside and outside of SAP. With Solaris you have Zones (containers), projects, oracle, sap, user environment settings, etc. All of which have an impact on memory, either from consumption, or limitation of memory (projects and user environment settings.)
I have looked at ST02, and we do see swaps of greater that 10k, however, before increasing the buffers, I'm trying to determine what memory we have available, and where the current memory is being used.
Our response times are not absurd. We hover around 800 - 1000 ms. Our CPU is average less than 15% util. But I think there is room for improvement/tuning on our memory and buffers, because performance does degrade over a period of weeks without an app restart.

How to use SAP XI to get Inspection Lot IDOC when Insp. lot is created

I want to create a 3rd party .NET app that gets an Inspection Lot IDOC when an inspection lot is created, gather the inspection results, then push the results back to SAP in an IDOC. How do I use SAP XI to do that? I developed an HTTP listener .NET app and configured a sender communications channel for the SAP System and a receiver connunications channel for the HTTP adapter in the XI integration scenario, but how do I configure the XI integration scenario to send my app an IDOC when an inspection lot is created, and what IDOCs do I use?

I think you can use
IDOC TYPES : QALITY01, QALITY02
in XI you can create
IDOC to HTTP as a scenario
IDOC need to be triggered from SAP system and you can import the IDOC metadata into XI from SAP

Could it be helpful for this case? I have prices of rice for differente years, from 2007 to 2013. Can SAP Predictive Analysis help me forecast what will be the price of rice for 2014, 2015 and so on?
Which algorithm should I use? Does it come integrated in the tool or is it an add-on?

SAP PA has only Triple exponential smoothing algorithm; In most cases, single exponential smoothing would not make any sense [this is available through HANA PAL or R integration with SAP PA];
If you have R integration you should see something like this
In Single exp smoothing only alpha is used;
in double exp smoothing alpha and gamma is used; and all three in gamma.
Why these alpha, beta and gamma... has a big derivation to understand; [let me know if you need any document, I have compiled as on some reference]
What values alpha, beta and Gama should hold in Triple ... or what is the right value, .... actually there are no right value and wrong value for them.

How to use SAP Business Workflow along with Interactive Adobe Form

Hi Experts,
I am working on SAP Business Workflow since last couple of years.
Now i have got a new Project where client wants to use SAP Business Workflow along with Interactive Adobe Form.
I am new to Interactive Adobe Form and Portal thing and i really dont know from where to start.
We have one central system and 2 local systems. when we do create a Material document using adobe form workflow should trigger and notification should go to group of users who can approve or reject it, once they approve it document gets created in central system and replicated to 2 local system through ALE.
In the Local system they do extend the document to different plants, again workflow triggers and notification will go to Managers inbox for the approval.
Once the final approval done data should go and store in SAP.
Now here i have couple of Questions.
1. In SAP R3 Business workflow when i execute the workitem from the inbox i do get the application screen ( i.e. MM01 MRP View ) , what is going to happen if the same case i have with Adobe form?? is it possible or do we have to design a adobe form and we will have to map the fields with backend application??
2. Do i have to maintained 3 separate Org Structure for 3 different system or using UWL i can manage the show
3. Untill final submit is not done, where the application data is going to be, is there any kind of buffer that we will have to keep it or its there with XML file??
Please help me out.

1) You can go for either go for ISR based development or WD development with Adobe form. In both the cases you can achieve your requirement. Yes, you will have to design the Adobe form and bind the fields to backend.
2) Am not clear or your System landscape to advice you in these regards.
3) Until final Submit/Approval is done, the data can be stored in WORKFLOW CONTAINERS or XML FORM(If you go for ISR based Development).

We are using suse linux X86_64 bit OS
All the instances are present in distributed environment. Eg we have one DB,1 ASCS(Message server and Enqueue), 1 PAS and 1 AAS
In CRM there are 100 end users are there.
Database is also 64 bit (Oracle)
Ram size is 32 GB.
CPU is:4
Theoretically I know that the
RAM:Virtual memory should be 1:2 ratio
How to find the Virtual memory size in the existing system If it is a freshly installed means then how can we estimate it?
How to find the SWAP size allocated in the existing system If it is a freshly installed means then how can we estimate it?
How to find the size of virtual memory is allocated for the live SAP system and DB? And explain how to calculate if it is a freshly migrated system?
How to find the size of RAM is assigned to SAP and the same for DB?
If anything is increased in sap level like work process why should we need to increase the process and sessions in oracle and how?
Kindly help to me to find the solution for this questions?

How could I populate S012 to use Sap standard analyse?

I would like to work with Mce3 and mce7 to analyse the performance of my purchase activities... Although i have gotten problem to populate the LIS table.
I accessed s012 table in se16n transaction. I noticed there are some datas in this table, but it is not necessary correct, probably because it has not atualized correct.
The field theoric quantity is Ok! So, any order I create in sap the Lis can read and my quantity change. It shows that I dont have a connection problem properly.
The data just is added in table after Migo , miro... when is it insert ?
Have anyone used the LIS informations to help me ? What is my configuration problem?
Here , we use purchase order and Scheduling Agreement!

if you have not changed the update rules for S012, then it just works as designed by SAP.
However, this may not always be the way users would like to see the data.
The goods receipt is allocated to the period of PO creation, and not to the period when the receipt actually happened.
So many companies have created a S912 structure and amended the update rules to their own needs.

to answer your question - yes, the Analysis is very helpful.
The deployed document helps customer to estimate the planned transformation, as well it helps to mind the project team.
So using this as a scoping document I´ll would work with it.

Steps t upload the delta records:
ECC Side:
T code- /LBWE: Select the data source and on right side there is an icon to select the delta mode...I mean
direct delta, queued delta etc.
Note: There are 4 delta update modes-direct, queued, serialised V3 update and unserialised.
Once any record is changed , it comes to extraction queue automatically. Check the same(T code- /SMQ1).
Schedule the V3 Job..once scheduled, records move to Delta queue (T code- /RSA7)
BW Side:
On the BW side, Create an infopackage and DTP (but in this case -Delta DTP) the way you loaded the Init request in the target.

I want to know how the integration between these two systems work.
