How to use select a vi function inside a loop?

I am modifying the notifier basics part 2.vi to send a notifier to each of 64 sub-vi's. How can you use the 'select a vi' function inside a loop for 64 iterations to access the individual filenames??

If all you are trying to do is send notifiers to each of these 64 subVIs, I would suggest not doing it in a loop, but rather just placing the 64 subVIs in your diagram.
The alternative is of course to use the call by reference node and have an array of VI names. This is a little cleaner on the diagram, but 1) doesn't occur in parallel and 2) is a bit tricky. Additionally, you have to be sure that your array of filenames is correct, and that you NEVER move or rename those VIs. Of course, you could always put them in a directory and create an array by reading the directory contents.
Either way, good luck, it doesn't sound like fun.

YOu cannot create a selection screen withing a function module.
What you can do is to call a screen , say '0100'.
Create a screen '0100' and then include a selection -screen as a subscreen in that screen.

You can write UDFs in java in Graphical mapping to enhance your XI Graphical mapping functionality
The steps for doing it would be:
1. Click on Create New function Button found on Bottom left corner on your XI Mapping window.
2. Write your java code.
3. Run the Mapping Test as usual.

The Java Function Activity Agent is not certified for Oracle Workflow embedded in Oracle Applications. Installing standalone workflow should be a lot easier than what you have found, although it looks like you did hit a Pentium 4 issue with the Oracle Universal Installer. I suggest you contact Oracle Support or Oracle Consulting for assistance.

Opening Balance for Period u2013 Select this option when you need to differentiate between the balance of the selected posting period and that of the previous periods. When a date range of a current posting period is selected, you can select this checkbox to display the bookkeeping balance prior to the selected date range in a separate column: OB.
As default, the checkbox is cleared. Selecting it displays the following options:
OB from Start of Company Activity u2013 Displays the opening balance accumulated since the companyu2019s activity started.
OB from Start of Fiscal Year u2013 Displays the opening balance accumulated from the start of the current fiscal year.
Presently i dont have that enviroment to check.

you cannot use " IN " with read statement , read statement is used as:
READ TABLE it_collect ASSIGNING <fs_collect>
 WITH KEY rbpl = <fs_wkdet>-arbpl
 ufnr = <fs_wkdet>-aufnr.
anyways you can use loop at statement before read to use " into " statement as:
LOOP AT it_master INTO l_master
 WHERE werks = l_werks

   I have created a BAPI and tested in SWO1 tcode , by giving the single value for an company code ( BUKRS ) , it executed properly .
Same thing is working after implementing in a program .
so now it is working for fetching a single company code details .
My requirement is : I want to use select-options in program as well as in function module IN IMPORT PARAMETER.

Hope this is exactly what you want to know.
So you create a structure simliar to mine but the low an high whould be your component
then a table type and then include that in the BAPI.
Then pass your select-option value to this BAPI when you call this BAPI in the program

note: performance-wise, it is better to use FOR ALL ENTRIES that SELECT inside a LOOP.
here is a sample code

How to use Table valued MSSQL function in OBIEE

Hi all,
Can some one help me to understand how to use table valued function in OBIEE? I want to use a table valued function (MSSQL function, with some input parameter), in the physical layer to pull the data?
I know for MSSQL Stored Procedure we can write as
EXEC SP_NAME @Parameter = 'VLUEOF(NQ_SESSION.Variablename)'
but now I have a table valued function in the query window I can get the data as
select * from myfunction(parametervalue)
In physical layer of OBIEE I have tried as
select * from myfunction('VLUEOF(NQ_SESSION.Variablename)'), but I'm getting error as the NQ_SESSION variable doesn't have a value , but actually I have initialized the variable but still Im getting error.
Can some one help me to solve this.
