How to use "sequence" after we add new data ?

Could someone tell me how to increase the number after we add new data and put the number into one field per time ?

In the Initial Value property for an item on a block, you can assign it to a sequence value. Just put the name of the sequence in the Initial Value:
Specifies the default value that Form Builder should assign to the item whenever a record is created. The default value can be one of the following:
Here's the part of the help screen for Initial Value that shows how to assign a sequence.
     raw value (216, 'TOKYO')
     form item (:block_name.item_name)
     global variable (:GLOBAL.my_global)

    How do I erase a CD read/write disc on my macbook so I can add new data. If a disc is a RW, I shouldn't i be able to write to it after it already has some data on it?
    I get a screen note saying I can't add anything because something is already on the disc... but it's only one little 3 meg file. But apple i info. shows no room on the cd.
    How can I erase the cd and reuse it? I find no erase command and when I try to drag the file to the trash, i get another note saying i don't have permission... even tho I've check off the permission box.

    Open Disk Utility, choose the CD on the left side and click "Erase" on the right.

    Easy, no need to be harsh. I might not be a Level 9  Discussions user, but I’ve been an Apple Technician for more than a decade now. So believe me, I know what I’m talking about. Be it OS X Server or emptying the Trash. But even I come here from time to time to learn from others. Well, back to topic and being a little more specific:
    The 'My Info' setting always belongs to the first iCloud account you add to an iOS device. In this account you create at least 1 contact, the one you will be using for 'My Info'. You then do the same on your other iOS device using NOT the same iCloud account, of course. You only need to enable contacts syncing in iCloud preferences for these primary accounts. From here on you can use differing 'My Info' on your 2 iOS devices without a problem.
    But you may know that you can use more than one iCloud account at a time. Only the primary one will offer all iCloud options like Photostream. But what they all offer is contacts, calendars, etc. So if you intend (and I did) to share these 2 between your devices you can add them using a second iCloud account to both of your iOS devices. This makes it 3 accounts all in all. You could even go further and add another one just for 'Find my iPhone' if you like.
    I would’ve used the built-in sharing of Calendar.app instead, but Contacts.app does not (yet) offer sharing contacts with others. That’s why I went with the third iCloud account as a secondary account to both iOS devices.
    Apple of course recommends using just one Apple ID for everything to make it easier. But in some scenarios this just won’t cut it, which is even described in one of their support documents.
    I hope that now you have an idea what I’ve done…

    We need to use SM30 to maintain a table entry. When I click the button of "New Entries", the table screen becomes blank. I can only add new data but not be able to see the old data existing in the table.
    How can I have the new line available for me to add new data at the same time see the data currently existing in the table?

    Hi, thanks for the reply!
    Just to follow up for what we did to disable the delete function for maintaining table records. We hided the Delete button by adding a "MODULE disable_delete" code in Screen Painter. So now only adding records to the table is allowed.

    There is a workaround, which is to use Airport Utility 5.6.
    I can confirm that 5.6 will run on 10.8.4 Mountain Lion, it will recognize the new 2013 Airport Extreme Base Station (A1521) running firmware 7.7.1, and it will give you access to view the device's Log & Statistics, DHCP Clients, and Profiles.
    Four caveats:
    1) The easiest way to install it is to download the app itself, not an installer or through the App Store. There is a page here where you can download the app: http://coreyjmahler.com/2013/03/08/airport-utility-5-6-on-os-x-v10-8-mountain-li on/ This way, you still have both versions, Airport Utility 6.x.x and 5.6.
    2) When you launch 5.6, you'll get a message saying a newer version is available and asking if you want to update. Click Cancel to proceed into the utility.
    3) When you click the Manual Setup button in 5.6, you'll get a warning dialog that "This version of AirPort Utility doesn't support this AirPort wireless device and might improperly configure the device if you continue to use it. Check www.apple.com/support/airport for the latest version of AirPort Utility." You can click Continue to get into the utility without issue.
    4) You should probably only use 5.6 to view the additional status details. I have not tried to modify and save any AEBS settings using 5.6. There are other discussions here in the forums indicating that attempting to save settings via 5.6 that are no longer available in 6.3.1 will not actually save the settings to the AEBS even if both utilities indicate that the settings are changed.     So, even though you can't use it to modify settings no longer available in Airport Utility 6.3.1, using Airport Utility 5.6 to view DHCP clients, Logs and Statistics is very useful for troubleshooting network issues.
    PS - There are two ways to get to the DHCP Clients list, neither of which is obvious The first is to go to the Airport pane -> Summary tab and click on the "Wireless Clients:" label in the Summary display. All of the labels from "Wireless Mode:" down on the Summary display operate as links to view/edit the corresponding info/settings, which is also not obvious at first glance. Also not obvious, clicking on "Wireless Clients:" actually brings up a new pane with three tabs: Logs, Wireless Clients, and DHCP Clients. You can also get to the same pane by going to the Advanced pane and clicking on the Logs and Statistics button.
    I hope this is helpful information. Took me a while to find out how to do this.

    These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
    Method 1
    Backup the library with this User Tip.
    Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
    Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
    Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
    Method 2
    Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
    Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
    I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
    If you have an iOS device that syncs with contact & calendar data on your computer you should migrate this information too. If that isn't possible create a dummy entry of each type in your new profile and iTunes should offer to merge the existing data from the device into the computer, otherwise the danger is that it will wipe the information from the device.
    If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
    Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data. If you don't have any Apple devices then see HT2519 - Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store.

I am trying to do more than one plot on the same graph, where the incoming data is at different times.     As the other post pointed out, there are two objects in LV for plotting,
    graphs and charts. If you wish to have a chart recorder that
    accumulates data into one or more plot with time, you probably want a chart.
    If you push a button and acquire a trace and want to add that to your
    graph, you just need to
    combine it with the data you plotted before and
    update the graph. It isn't the most efficient, but you can easily read
    the value of the graph using a local, add another row or column or
    element to your data and send it to the graph.
    To directly answer your other question, no, the grah doesn't have a
    functional interface for clearing, adding, or deleting plots. Instead,
    you do that with the diagram nodes and give the graph the results.

    MS SQLServer have a IDENTITY column property and UNIQUEIDENTIFIER data type that is somewhat similar to Oracle's sequence. I don't know whether your table contain either of these, or you just want to set sequential number to a column.
    Below is some info about IDENTITY and UNIQUEIDENTIFIER you may already know since they are in SQLServer Book.
    IDENTITY property: You can define IDENTITY property on a numeric column. You can set the seed and increment on this column property very much like Oracle's sequence. The only thing I think it does not have is the "nextval". You can use IDENT_CURRENT function or @@IDENTITY after an INSERT or SELECT INTO to get the last value generated. Of course you can use this value and add the increment to get the next
    value but it not the same as seqname.nextval which keep incrementing each time you call it. Getting the current identity value and adding the increment your self will not work for multiple sessions with pending
    insert. Another thing about column with IDENTITY property is that you cannot insert value into this column (i.e, omit it in your insert statement values) unless IDENTITY_INSERT is on, but only one table in a
    session can have IDENTITY_INSERT to be turned on.
    If you don't need to know the next seq value, then IDENTITY work similar to Oracle sequence. Execute select after postchanges or commit will have system generated values. If you need to get next value before insert, Sung suggest using SEQ_TABLE and managing the next value (write a database function to mimic Oracle'
    s nextval).
    UNIQUEIDENTIFIER datatype: UNIQUEIDENTIFIER is a 16-byte hexadecimal number indicating a globally unique identifier (GUID). The GUID is useful when a row must be unique among many other rows. You could use NEWID() to create a value of type uniqueidentifier or calling some API function that returns a GUID. The advantage of using uniqueidentifier is that the values generated by NEWID function or application GUID are guaranteed to be unique throughout the world. The disadvantage of using uniqueidetifier is that it is long and obscure, random, difficult for user to remember or type correctly. It is 16 byte, which is large compare to other datatype such as 4-byte integer.

    I'm configuring the XI 3.1 SR3 Integration for SAP component on my newly built BOE 3.1 SR3 environment and have a question on the "configuring SAP server side trust" part of the configuration. On page 91 of the Int Kit for SAP guide it states that :-
    To configure BusinessObjects Enterprise servers
    After you generate a PSE for BusinessObjects Enterprise, you must configure
    an appropriate server structure for SAP processing. The following procedure
    creates a node for SAP processing servers, so that you can set operating
    system credentials on the node level.
    Note:
    In this version of BusinessObjects Enterprise, servers are no longer
    configured in the Central Configuration Manager (CCM). Instead, a new
    Server Intelligence Agent (SIA) must be created.
    1. In the CCM, create a new node for SAP processing servers.
    Give the node an appropriate name such as SAPProcessor. For
    information about nodes, see u201CAdding a nodeu201D in the SAP BusinessObjects
    Enterprise Administrator's Guide.
    2. In the CMC, add the processing servers you need to the new node, then
    start the new servers.
    For information about adding and starting servers, see the u201CManaging
    and Configuring Serversu201D chapter of the SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise
    Administrator's Guide.
    The trouble is that the BOE S.1 SR3 administrators guide for "adding a node" on page 63 describes the process on windows where the ccm GUI tools is used. On unix however the ccm.sh command line tool needs to be used and looking at the "ccm.sh -help" options I can't see anything listed that could be used to perform this add node procedure.
    Can anyone suggest to me how I can setup this new node that is required so I can continue with the XI 3.1 SR3 Integratrion for SAP setup.

    thanks for this. I suppose I'm unsure on this due to me only just becoming involved with BOE, the Integration for SAP document isn't very clear on this process for setting up a new SIA. I checked with the project manager and this needs to be setup to enable their planned usage. I'll take a look at using the serverconfig.sh utilility to create a new SAPProcessors "node".
