  • How to use std quality document types

Hi, Pls advise how to use std quality document types like Print list, Quality agreement, Technical delivery terms? i mean for what purpose those will be used?

    hi
    Quality Agreement;
Quality aggrement document type is used in Quality Info Record. If you maintain control key regarding Qaulity Aggrement you must maintain the Qaulity agg otherwise PO or GR wil be blocked.
    Technical delivery:
Technical dele term are maintained in Material master-->additional data -->documents.
if you select the control key which has reference of Technical dele term you have to maintain this in MM otherwise PO or GR will be blocked.
    Q01     Q-Agreement / MM-PUR
    Q02     DelivTerms / MM-PUR
    Both are customization in SPRO

  • How to use E1BPPAREX - IDoc Segment enhancement

    Hi,
can you provide me with some details on "how to use the E1BPPAREX" IDoc Segment ?
I want to enhance the standard PRICECATALOGUE02 IDoc with some customer defined fields.
There is a use of a STRUCTURE FIELD and 4 VALUEPARTS.
What kind of structure do i have to use ?
I red something about to enter 2 kind of structures ?
    a) the first part = wrf_pricat_key*
    b) second part = DDIC userdefined structure.
    Thx,
    Gordon

    Hi Gordon,
    1. Map customer data in E1BPPAREX segment fields:
STRUCTURE     CHAR     30     0     Structure name of  BAPI table extension
VALUEPART1     CHAR     240     0     Data part of BAPI extension parameter
VALUEPART2     CHAR     240     0     Data part of BAPI extension parameter
VALUEPART3     CHAR     240     0     Data part of BAPI extension parameter
VALUEPART4     CHAR     240     0     Data part of BAPI extension parameter
    2. Build a new implementationof BADI interface IF_EX_PRICAT_OUT_EXTIN  (PRICAT_IN_EXTIN definition name) using SE19
    3. Write the ABAP code for UPDATE_INBOUND_EXTENSIONIN method to manage your additional customer data:
UPDATE_INBOUND_EXTENSION: This method enables the data from the
ExtensionIn table parameter to be processed. This parameter may contain
customer-specific data that is either to be integrated into standard
tables in the price catalog, or stored in customer-defined tables.
BAPI_Table_Extensions are used for this integration into the standard
tables from the price catalog. These are enhancement concept objects for
BAPIs. SAP delivers them with the key elements, and customers enhance
them for their own fields in appends. The method receives the
Table_Extensions using the interface and then it can fill them. Once the
entries are returned after the method has been called, they are mixed
with the standard tables. If a customer wishes to update
customer-defined tables, a user-defined update module can be called in
the method and it will update the customer-defined tables.
When the method is called, the changing parameters are empty. They may
be filled in the method. They are used to provide customer-defined
fields in the standard tables. If entries are made in these structures
and tables, the 'entries_made' parameter must be set to 'X' so that the
entries are transferred from these structures and tables to the standard
tables in the price catalog. These parameters are BAPI table extensions.
These structures can be enhanced in the customer system with APPENDS.
This enhancement is exactly the same as the enhancement for the standard
tables involved. The customer-specific fields are transexported to the
standard tables after the method has been called using a
MOVE_CORRESPONDING. This involves the enhancement technology that
supports BAPIs in the standard system.
    Reward points if useful.

  • How to use standard IDOC - SHPMNT04

    Hi Experts
Please help me out in IDOC's
I am new to IDOC's and i have to use SHPMNT04 IDOC .
Can any one help me from where i have to start and what to do ?
    Thanks & Regards
    Shaveta

hi, chk dis 4 basics of idoc.
    IDOC is a intermidate documents:
An IDoc is a container that can be used to exchange data between any two processes. The document represented in an IDoc is independent of the complex structure used in SAP to store application data. This feature enables SAP to rearrange its internal structure without affecting the existing interfaces.
The word IDoc is used very loosely in the IDoc interface. An IDoc represents an IDoc type and IDoc data, depending on the context in which the word IDoc is used. An IDoc type defines the structure and format of the data being exchanged. For example, the IDoc type INVOIC01 defines the format of an invoice document. IDoc data can be seen as an instance of an IDoc type. For example, an actual invoice received from a vendor in electronic form is converted into an IDoc.
An IDoc is an instance of an IDoc type. Each IDoc is assigned a unique number for tracking and future reference. An IDoc serves as a focal object for tracking the state of the process that generated it.
The internal structure of an IDoc, showing the control record, data records, and status records
     One control record
 One or many data records
 One or many status records
 Control record. There is only one control record per IDoc. The control record contains all the control information about an IDoc, including the IDoc number, sender and receiver information, and other control information such as the message type it represents and IDoc type. The structure of the control record is the same for all IDocs and is defined by SAP. The field values, of course, can be different.
 Data record. An IDoc can contain multiple data records, as defined by the IDoc structure. Segments translate into data records. Data records store application data such as purchase order header information, purchase order details lines, and other relevant information.
 Status record. Multiple status records are usually attached to an IDoc. Status records are attached to an IDoc throughout the process as the IDoc achieves different milestones. A status code, date, and time are assigned at every milestone.

  • How to use the Idoc number.(generated by prgram) and ALE

    Hi All
I have a problem to use Idocs. I go thru the following steps but can not able to see the final output.
    1.Create Segment ( WE31)
    2.Create Idoc Type ( WE30 )
    3.Create Message Type ( WE81 )
    4.Assign Idoc Type to Message Type ( WE82 )
5.Make a report which gives us Idoc number.
Now my problem is where this Idoc number can we used .and how to relate this with ALE.

  • How to use ale/idocs in sap crm to transfer master and transactional data

    hi all,
I am working on sap crm7.0 ehp1. I want to transfer my master and transactional data from crm development system to crm quality system here through idocs. I am aware of basic ale settings and successfully transfe the ztable data through idocs. But i am not able to find any proper step by step procedure for maste and transactional data in sap crm. Also sap ecc tcode NACE is not available here.
    pls help..
    regards,
    kavita chaudhary

    Kavita,
In CRM, Exchange Interface (XIF) ALE/IDOC is available to transfer master and transaction data. You can go through the following link for set up.
Basic Data exchange set up for ALE IDocs - Wiki - SCN Wiki
You can extend the standard XIF IDOCs using Transaction BDFg as well.
    Thanks,

  • How to upload different views of customer master data using LSMW-IDOC

I need to upload customer master data  using LSMW Idoc method for my client. Now customer will have different views like main view, Sales data, Company code data, Partner function data etc. And except main data all other data can be multiple for each customer. We are going to upload data from tab delimited .TXT file. Should I propose different LSMW for upload different views for the customer from different .TXT files? or we can upload all the customer related data (like main view data and partner function data )from a single .TXT file. Kindly suggest which one in convenient and how we can prepare the data file in both cases.

convinient is the method that you can handle.
but as the guy who loads the data you have to load the data like they are available, like it is convinient for others to prepare the data.
In general there is no problem to use an IDOC method to load a customer master with multiple comany codes and several sales orgs in one shot.
the data can be in one source file, but need then to be maintained in a certain way
Example1: all data in 1 structure
    GD1 - CC1 - SO1
    GD1 - CC2 - SO2
    GD1 - CC2 - SO3
in this case the GD (general data) is redundand in each line which has different Company code data or different Sales Org data
Example2: all data in 3 sturcures but one file
    GD1
    .CC1
    .CC2
    ..SO1
    ..SO2
    ..SO3
Example3: data delivered in 3 files - you join the files in LSMW, they must have a common identifier like the old customer number in the beginning of each file
    FILE General data:
    GD1
    GD2
    GD3
    file Compamy code data:
    CC1
    CC2
    CC3
    file Sales org data:
    SO1
    SO2
    SO3
LSMW is flexible and can handle each of this scenarios, are you flexible too?

  • How to use IDOC and RFC adapter in 1 scenario?

We have AAA field and BBB field and we want to send AAA field to receiver sap system using IDOC adapter and BBB field to receiver sap system using RFC adapter. But how to use IDOC and RFC adapter in 1 scenario and how to map and  what are the design and configuration objects we require to create?

To achieve this you have to use
    Two Interface Determinations
Two Communication Channels (IDOC & RFC)
    & Two Receiver Aggrements.
Use the Enhanced Interface determination and give your conditions there. Based on you condition your interface mapping will be triggered and data will be sent to IDOC & RFC respectively.

  • How to use LSMW using the IDOC to upload and maintain cost center group

    Hi Everyone,
Is there anyone who knows how to use LSMW using the IDOC functions instead of the recording. I wanted to upload the alternative cost center group I created in the system.
    reply would be greatly appreciated
    Warm Regards

    Hi Praveen,
There is a risk trying to migrate data directly into standard tables because this can generate database inconsistences or wrong inserted data according to what is customized in the target system. I do not recommend migrate like this.
With LSMW you use objects like direct input programs, idocs, bapis and recorded batch input. Try to create a project and use an standard object for your data. Also, check in SXDA transaction (Goto-->DX programs) if there is a standard program for your data.
Anyway, if you want to upload data directly to tables, read below thread:
    ["UPLOAD  CSV  FILE";

  • How to see an IDOC type & FM, "WHERE USED LIST"?

    Hi Experts,
I nned to create an IDOC of WMTCID01 and message type is WMTOCO.
I wanna to see that, Where Where this IDOC was used(especially, in "Z" objects) so that, I can get some idea abt. it and do my coding.
So, let me know that, How to see this IDOC & FM, "WHERE USED LIST"
    thanq

    hi go to the tcode...
    1) Create Segment ( WE31)
    2) Create Idoc Type ( WE30)
    3) Create Message Type ( WE81)
    4) Assign Idoc Type to Message Type ( WE82)
Tcode- we19  is for testing idoc
in the we42 the message type and the idoc function module is ataached by the process code..
this is a best example to understand the creation of idocs(z)..

  • How to Use IDOC in Java Mapping?

    Hello -
    1. How can i use an IDOC to map to an xml file using Java mapping in an IDOC -> XI -> XML file scenario?
    2. How can i test this scenario outside XI, i mean using Eclipse?
    3. How can i create a test data for IDOC for the above scenario in XML format to test it using Java program?
    Thanks,
    Tirumal

    Hi,
<i>***1. How can i use an IDOC to map to an xml file using Java mapping in an IDOC -> XI -> XML file scenario?</i>
It will be a direct xml to xml mapping. Is your requirement requires Java Mapping? Otherwise you can easily do without that - check this-
Is there simply way to map an idoc to an flatfile?
<i>***2. How can i test this scenario outside XI, i mean using Eclipse?</i>
You need to have XML input for this. Just try to get the IDoc XML or create xml input based on the Idoc Structure. You can make use of  WE60 to get  IDOC xsd .
<i>***3. How can i create a test data for IDOC for the above scenario in XML format to test it using Java program?</i>
Go to Tcode WE19 in the R/3 and generate the outbound Idoc . And then use that xml ( for question no 2). as a test data to test independently.
    Hope this helps..

    Moorthy

  • How to use IDoc. in data migration?

    Dear Expert,
How can I use IDoc. method in Data Migration???

    Hi,
You can use Idoc method in data migration using LSMW - Idoc method.
In LSMW select the Idoc method and give the Message type and Basic type according to your requirement.
Before that you need to maintain the Idoc inbound processing.
    Goto LSMW initial screen,
LSMW -> Settings -> IDoc Inbound Processing. Maintain File port, partner type and partner no.
After maintaining the Partner no. goto WE20 (maintain partner no.) and add the message type in the Inbound parameters of the partner no. Also we need to maintain the Process code for the message type.
After all this settings we can use Idoc method for data migration.
The rest of the steps are same as other methods till convert data.
