How to use the new Jade plug in

How do I open the Jade plug in. I downloaded the demo version, and unable to find a way to open it. Installation was successful. Thanks in advance.

It is located in (my computer)/library/application support/aperture/plug-ins/
Not in the system library.
I am talking with Jade sales as we speak, their original solution did not work, either. Will post their final solution when I get another email reply.

    Hello all,
when i update apps on my iphone they need the ID that i used when i downloaded these apps and i forgot this ID and a make a new ID
How i used the new one to update these apps?
    thanks

Your device can hold apps from multiple IDs, but to update them you have to swicth identities which is time consuming. If possible use only the one ID. If you need to reset the password for your old ID visit My Apple ID.

  • How to use the new MacBook 13'' with Built-in 7-hour battery

    Hi,
I just bought the new MacBook, it is my first Mac, and having the Built-in 7-hour battery I don't know if I can plug it in most of the times without doing any damage to the battery.
On other portable computers, I just take the battery out and than plug it in and use it, but in this one that can not be done.
So, what to do? Try to always drain and recharge fully, or it is no problem to plug it in when the battery is fully charged?
I read that you should let it sleep(when it goes to sleep because it doesn't have battery)for 5 hours before charging it so it really drains. Is that really necessary?
Also after it goes to sleep and I plug it in to charge, should I let it charge in Sleep Mode, or should I Shut it down and let it charge?
What has been your experience with battery life? The first time I used it, it lasted for 4hours, is this normal and it will get better with 3 or 4 fully charges/draines?
Thank you very much for your help.

Hey guys, I understand your concern that you're not getting 7 hours out of your battery but let me put a couple things into perspective and also offer you some info from Apple's website that may or may not explain why you aren't getting the full 7 hrs.
First mgb545, 5.5 hours is killer for laptop battery, but nonetheless you paid for it for the 7 hour battery so I don't fault you in any way for wanting what they said you would get.
Second, the MacBook is Apple's "sub $1000" notebook. At first mention of that you think, "alright, it's under a thousand bucks!". It is, it's just $999...
My point is that it's an advertising game. The MacBook can get +up to+ 7 hours on a single charge but not everybody is doing the same things or has the same configuration as when Apple was testing their machines. You might have a Time Machine HDD backing up (which I don't recommend nor do I think you guys do since you didn't mention it) or some other USB peripheral that takes power which would lower the battery's life. However, I think there is
This is straight an easier explanation... This next blurb is the "fine print" from Apple's website right on their MacBook page about how they got 7 hrs.
+"Testing conducted by Apple in October 2009 using preproduction 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo-based MacBook units. Battery life depends on configuration and use. See www.apple.com/batteries for more information. The wireless productivity test measures battery life by wirelessly browsing various websites and editing text in a word processing document with display brightness set to 50%."+
That all being said, I think or at least hope you'll find your answer there. For starters, it says "various websites". Who knows if those were basic HTML or Flash heavy sites or a combination of both? The other stipulation of this is brightness. Do you guys have your brightness at 50% or is it higher?
Try this, I know the weekend just passed, but if you find that you have 7 hours where you don't need your laptop, leave it on, make sure it doesn't go to sleep or screen saver, play with it every so often, leave wi-fi on, make sure your brightness is at 50% and then see how long it lasts.
One last thing, when you say you're getting 5.5 hrs out of your battery, how low are you letting it go to? I'm assuming when Apple says "a single charge" they mean it. So if you're getting 5.5hrs when it goes down to 8 or 10% you also need to factor in the extra time you might gain from that.
Hope this help, let me know how your computers are set up, I'm curious to know if this will resolve or at least account for your lack of 7 hrs because me just recently got the 13" MBP and it doesn't get 7hrs either.

  • Problem using the new Lightening Plug in my car's USB port?

I have an 2011 Lexus RX 350 and just got a new IPAD mini.  I tried using the Mini on a recent trip by plugging it into my car's USB port and got a message on the car's entertainment display that it could not recognize the USB device.  Anyone else having this problem?

    Karlfromny wrote:
I realize that. The plug in question has a USB connector on one side and the new Lightening interface on the other.  The USB side is plugged into the car and the otherside of the cable into the Mini.
If this is a connector supplied by the electronics manufacturer for use with that radio and iOS devices then something is wrong.  If it supplied by a 3rd party then I wouldn't expect it to work at this stage of the game.  I also suspect that in a few months most manufacturers will have a new system that will work fine with the Lightning connector.
I have an audio system based upon the Pioneer Z140BH head unit and it worked very well with the iPhone 4S.  It works fine for audio from my iPhone 5 with the 30-pin to Lightning connector but doesn't work at all with the video functions.  Pioneer has announced an adapter that will allow it to work with the iPhone 5 but it won't be available for a few weeks.
As another said, if this is just a USB connection and not a 30-pin Apple style connection then its not likely to work at all without an update.

  • I have no idea how to use the new "messages" instead of ichat

i have recently got my first macbook. it isnt the first time i used one.  my friend has the macbook pro as well.  she has the "ichat" app for connecting with her friends.  but i have the "messages" app and i have no idea how to use it.. i cant find the buddy list to add friends... i dont know how to sign in to my account.. and when i try to send a message to someones id it says they arnt registered with ichat.. i have no idea what to do or where to begin!

    Hi Alexaaa,
Open the Messages app and under the Messages menu go to Preferences>Accounts and set up your account using your AppleID and password.
Once you have your account set up, then open the messages window. Next to the Search window you will see a little square with a pencil in it, click on that to start a new message. The cursor will be in the "To" line, and at the end of that line you will see a ". Click on that, and your contacts list will come up. Find the contact you want to send a message to, and select either their email or their phone number to send a message. Type in your message in the little message window at the bottom and press Enter to send.
Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!

  • How to use the *new* "per-user remote control"?

Per the ARD discription page at:  http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/apple-remote-desktop/id409907375?mt=12
It says under "Whats New in 3.5.1":
    "Per-user remote control
You can remotely log in to a Mac with any user account on that computer and control it, without interrupting someone else who might be using the computer under a different login.
How can I do this?  I can't seem to find the ability.  If I use ARD in it's "normal" mode, I am on the user's console at the same time they are.... I want to be "underneath" the console without affecting them.

That capability is only available if your client systems are running Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. See:

  • How to use the Load Balancer Plug-in to serve multiple domains

In SJSAS8.1 SE/EE the asadmin commands that create and maintain a load balancer configuration operate within a domain. When the load balancer configuration is exported an xml file is created that contains all the information for that domain. To make the load balancer plug-in balance the load for multiple domains, the loadbalancer.xml files can be manually merged to conatin the data that is exported from each domain's load balancer configuration.
For example, 2 domains are created, both having a load balancing configuration. After exporting both configurations using the asadmin export-http-lb-config command, the user would then cut and past the cluster information into the single loadbalancer.xml file that resides under the web server's config directory.
An example of the manually merged loadbalancer.xml file follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <loadbalancer>
    <cluster name="domain1">

  • How to properly use the new Lenovo touchpads

I'll admit to hating Lenovo's new touchpads at first (I purchased a Thinkpad T540p for myself and a relative got an IdeaPad). It felt impossible to click with any accuracy and I was close to returning my laptop largely because of the touchpad. Then I discovered I was using it completely wrong.
Most of us are accustomed to having dedicated physical buttons for left/middle/right clicking below the touchpad. With physical buttons, we usually had a finger on the touchpad and a thumb on the buttons. Because I was used to this style of doing things, I was trying to do that with the new touchpads: I would have my index finger sweeping around on the touchpad while my thumb was at the bottom for clicking. This led to all sorts of inaccuracies because the movement of my thumb and index finger would conflict with each other. Worse yet, when I clicked with my thumb this conflict would sometimes lead the cursor to move off of the item I was trying to click on.
Sound familiar? After I changed how I used my touchpad, I had a much more pleasant experience.
The thing to understand is that the new touchpads are basically a giant button. In other words, the entire touchpad surface can be used for clicking. You can press down anywhere on the touchpad and it will register as a click. Instead of keeping your thumb at the bottom of the touchpad for clicking, just use a your index finger to navigate around. When your cursor is over something you want to click, don't use your thumb! Just leave your index finger where it is and press down on the touchpad. "Click!" You don't have to use the bottom of the touchpad for clicking; the entire touchpad is one big button!
The next logical question: how do I right-click accurately? Yes, you could use the bottom right corner for right-clicking, but there's an easier way: place two fingers (e.g. your index and middle finger on the touchpad) and then press down. "Click!" Two fingers pressed down anywhere on the surface of the touchpad (aside from the corners which have already been assigned specific functions) will register as a right click.
Basically: just use your index finger to navigate to where you want the cursor to be, then use your index finger to press down to left-click or your index + middle finger to press down to right-click. DON'T use your thumb! It takes a little getting used to but now I completely enjoy Lenovo's new touchpad.
Alternatively: you can also gently tap with one or two fingers on the touchpad to left and right-click respectively. A "tap" is when you touch the touchpad and lift your finger(s) without pushing the touchpad down; a "click" is when you press down on the touchpad with your finger(s) with enough force to actually move the touchpad down and make an audible "click".
    Hope this helps somebody!

Apologies for the double post, but I've made a video demonstration of how to use the new-style touchpads for those who are visual learners: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vH3lpHDHaPw
    Hope it helps somebody!

  • How to use the "Flash Field"?

    Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to figure out how to use the new "Flash Field" inside my form.
The form we are working on required the user to interact with the "Flash Field" (i.e., click on the bar on a bar-chart) and the "Flash Field" should return some value (defined in the Flash logic) should be returned to the host (the PDF form) as the FlashField.rawValue, for example.
BTW: The SWF object that is consumed by the "Flash Field" is built by the Flash Builder latest edition (4.5). So we do have a total control on the logic inside the SWF project.
The Q here is: What is the possibility to modify my code inside my Flash project so it can expose the SWF object computed value to the rawValue property of the Flash Field?
    Appreciating your collaboration....
    BR,
    Yasser

    Hi,
Have a look at the Flash object Reference Card and the Flash object examples here: http://assure.ly/rqCuEn.

  • Using the New Video Features in Photoshop CS6 | Photoshop CS6 Feature Tour | Adobe TV

Adobe Digital Imaging Evangelist Julieanne Kost shows how to use the new video features in Photoshop CS6.
    http://adobe.ly/I5cUF2

I am removing a dust spot from video clips taken during an aerial shoot. I have discovered that the only effective way to remove these spots effectively is to use PS6 and go frame by frame using the paint brush, clone stamp, and spot healing brush. It is very time consuming and mind numbing but the only thing that works with all tha movement of the aircraft and the ground below.
    My question:
Right now to advance the clip one frame at a time - I must magnify the time line so to see the frame by frame lables. To advance to the next frame I must remove my cursor from the work area and go down to the time line and click on the next frame.
How can I advance to the next frame with a keyboard stroke and not move my cursor out of the work area?
Thank you in advance for any help.

  • HT1688 I am trying to find answers about how to use the earphones that came with my new iPhone 4s. Does this work similarly as a Bluetooth or do I need to still buy one. The printing in the manual is SOOO small, it is too hard to read!

Does anyone know how to use the earphones( plugs) that come with iPhones?
Mine is still fairly new and I am just learning how to use certain things.

They're pretty straightforward. You plug them into the headset jack (the hole on the top left of your phone). You put the buds in your ears. All sounds, except for the phone ringing will now come through the earbuds.

  • HT1695 I know nothing about how to use my new ipod and when reading the little bit of information in the folder that came with it, all I can do is turn it on, but it just powers down after a few seconds.  How do I work this thing?

I know nothing about how to use my new ipod and when reading the little information that came with it, all I can do is turn it on.  Then in a few seconds it goes black, never having brought up a screen to do anything!  Help!  What do I do to get this thing going?

You might consider connecting it to the charger and charging up the battery overnight.

    Hi,
    You have 2 solutions:
1 - You can use 2 differents icloud account
2 - You use the same account but you don't sync yours contacts.
You configure that in  Settings > icloud
You activate or desactivate what you want.
    Have a nice day.

I have Iphone 4s, and the phone will activate itself again. This I have verified, but when I shall put this onto my phone, so the phone will not approve the newusername and password. How do I get changed Apple ID on my phone so that I get using the new username and password that is verified? Silly to buy a new phone just for this .... The phone is almost three years old. How long can weexpect this to last? I would like an answer as soon as possible ... Thank you very much.

It sounds like your device might be in Activation Lock.  Is it asking your to enter in an Apple ID & password, but only showing you the first letter of the email address and then some dots? Example: j•••••@icloud.com?
If so, do you recognize that email?  Do you have an Apple ID that fits the same format?  If so, then go to www.cloud.com, log in with that Apple ID & password, and see if under Find My iPhone it shows this device.  If so, turn off the device, then remove the device from the list.
