How to use trace in analyzer of business explorer?

hi all,
i was running a report in the analyzer, it is taking to much time and after that its connection is getting lost and i get an error as client out of memory. needed to see the trace so that i could analyze. can any one tell me how do i use the Trace?
please help.

Your query/workbook is exceeding 750 000 data cells and BEx Analyzer cannot support mroe than that.
Please, review note 1040454
Regardless of the memory capacity in the front-end, a process can
allocate a maximum of approximately 1.2 gigabytes (GB) in the .NET
framework.
This corresponds to approximately 750,000 data cells that can be
displayed.
The system issues an error message when you try to allocate more memory.
In this case, reduce the number of cells to be displayed.
There is no way to exceed this limitation. SAP recommention is, reduce the query's result set.

How to use the HTTP Analyzer with the embedded OC4J server?

JDeveloper version: Studio Edition Version: 10.1.3.0.3.3412
I have a web application, which I run in the embedded OC4J server.
I tried to use the HTTP analyzer to inspect http requests and responses, but I could not make the analyzer work.
I tried to setup the HTTP analyzer by looking at the help entry, but I could not make it work.
If the HTTP analyzer works for you in the embedded OC4J server, please write the steps on how to setup the analyzer.
(Maybe I could not make the correct settings about port numbers?)

I was able to use the HTTP Analyzer by changing the proxy setting directly in Internet Options. Check the browser/proxy settings set in JDeveloper preferences and copy them to the Connections tab of Internet Options. See if that works for you.

Flex 3 :How to use trace for printing data in console

Hi ,
I heard that we can use trace to print data on to Flex Builder 3 console . But when i tries it was of no luck .
The below is a simple program , in which i was out of luck .

            Make a break point at trace line and debug the application There u can find the message u typed in console.. trace works only under debugging mode... not in development mode ..

I got trace files in $O_H/network/trace/ listener.trc and in
$O_H/rdbms/log/ora_orcl_22846.trc and others in the same dir. SO
how can I get any understandable form? ( All this numbers and
letters say nothing to me :((. Maybe I should read some manual?)

Listener trace should be humanly readable by itself and
oracle trace files should be processed by using tkprof.

I am using N97, and trying to access MfE with my company's e-mail id. We have taken e-mail id from Yahoo Small Business.

1. Is it possible to access Yahoo Small Business's e-mail on my N97 using MfE (I am using it with normal Mailbox option in phone).
2. If we can use what is the server name which I need to use for this application (It is not accepting pop.bizmail.yahoo.com).

How to use trace on sqlldr?

Hai can anybody please give me a link about implementing trace on sqlldr? I need to know the information about the connection time to the database and the whole series of steps.

I read in the docs, that performance increases with direct path. I tried that by running catldr.sql in 'sys' schema and used direct=true in sqlldr command string and used 'UNRECOVERABLE' before the load in the .ctl file. But it is taking same time. Are there any environmental variables to be set up??

Am currently doing experiments by using NI ELVIS IMPEDANCE ANALYZER but am now suffering a problem on how I can connect it so as to measure input and output impedance of a BJT circuit.

Using SMTP service in SAP Business Connector

Dear All,
Can any one tell me how to use SMTP service in SAP Business Connectors. My requirement is like I need to send a mail to a particular mail id, if a transaction fails.
Do i need to do some configuration from Administrator side.
What all efforts would be required for the same.

I had escalated the issue to the BASIS/INFRA team. But they say that there is no configuration that can be done on the mail server side ( exchange server ). They told me that some configuration needs to be done from the BC side.
This is what he had to say:
Port 5555 is the non-standard default port used by SAP BC for HTTP connections. For SMTP the default port number is 25.
As far as i understand this port 25 is used when in routing rule we define email transport. But my requirement is like it should first do an http and only in case when http fails it should do SMTP.
So it is not possible to have routing rule with mail transport.
Can you give some inputs from your side.

first of all you need to divide the error analysis in several check-areas...
(WHERE your data is wrong ? in PSA? in data mart section? in the final infoprovider ? only at query level ? at DB level?)
As you can see, understand WHERE is your problem solves half problem it-self !
Then look at OSS notes, first of all to verify that there is no std bug in some pgm, or to receive some useful suggestion...

Publish web templates in business explorer

In standart business explorer role , we can run queries in BEX Web Analyzer in portal.But we can not see web templates in BEX Analyzer in business explorer role in portal.It is not possible to see web templates in business explorer role in portal?

Hi,
Web Templates have to been embedded into iViews.
iViews are the smallest possible unit of information in the Portal. You can arrange them in Pages, Worksets and Roles.
Thus, if you want them in the Portal, "wrap" them into an iView, then is it up to you whether you put them in the Business Explorer tab or elsewhere.
For information :
- Business Intelligence (1st level tab) is both a Role and a Workset. The fact that it appears on the first level is because it is set as an Entry point in the Workset.
- Business Explorer is a Workset (2nd level tab)
You have to be Content Admin. to create Portal Content in the Content Administration tab : the editor that is called is the Portal Content Editor.
