How can I use Typekit-Desktop-Fonts in other apps e.g. Pages or Font Explorer X Pro on OS X?

Thanks for your interest in Typekit! This help page shows how to select fonts from Typekit for desktop use and sync them to your computer:

Once the fonts have synced to your Creative Cloud account, they will automatically be added to the font menus in all of your desktop applications, including Pages, Keynote, and Numbers.
Typekit fonts are not added to your font management software, however; you'll manage these font selections directly from the "synced fonts" page in your Typekit account.

I want to connect my other system(ubuntu) using mac remote desktop client, But i could not locate remote desktop client in moutain lion.

In Ubuntu 12.xx use Dash to find "Desktop Sharing" and set the preferences, including requiring a password.
Then in Ubu use System Settings > Network to determine your Ubu machine's IP address, such as 192.168.1.13.
On the Mountain Lion Mac do Finder > Go > Connect to Server and enter: vnc://192.168.1.13 or whatever your IP is. Enter the password that you used in the Ubu Desktop Sharing setup, when asked.
On the Ubu machine answer the question that pops up asking for permission to connect. Your Ubu screen will now show up on the Mac, and you can remote control it. Here I am running "Octave" (a math program) on the Ubu machine, remotely.
Works great! BTW, you can do this from an iPad too, using a VNC client such as Mocha VNC Lite. You can even run both remotes simultaneously.

You'll need to have access to some sort of database account to use the tool. If you just loaded the tool onto a machine, Disco is not going to be useful - you need to create an end user layer, and business areas.

Rajiv,
If you have Forte's WebEnterprise product, and Forte version 3.0.G.x or
later, you have the ability to export an IIOP interface for any Forte
service object. In fact, you can go one step further and generate a Java
interface that "hides" the IIOP issues from the developer. The way you do
this is to do the following:
1) From the partitioning workshop, double click on the service object you
wish to expose as an IIOP interface. This will bring up the Service Object
Properties dialog.
2) Off the Export tab, set the External Type drop down to IIOP. If IIOP is
not an available option in the drop down list then you do not have
WebEnterprise install.
3) From here you need to set up the necessary IIOP configuration parameters
(see the documentation for details on the specifics of what the parameters
control).
4) If you want to have Forte generate a JavaBean interface and the necessary
Java classes to be called by your application then make sure you select the
Java parameter at the bottom of the Configuration dialog. If IDL is
selected then Forte will generate a generic IDL interface.
5) When you make your distribution Forte will generate the Java classes for
you.
This mechanism works very well for accessing a Forte service object from a
Java application.

This how to make ring tones for your iPhone:
Choose the desired song from you library
Do a secondary click on your song if you are using a MAC (right click for PC)
Click "Get Info"
Go to Options tab
Set Start Time and Stop Time, some iOS only allow for a 30 sec duration for ringtones, then click OK
Do secondary click (right click for PC) to your selected song
Click "Create AAC Version", new song from your selected will added to your library (short one)
Do secondary click (right click for PC) to your short one (new song)
Click "Show in Finder"
Rename file *.m4a to *.m4r, click "use *.m4r"
Drag the file to library, for the first time it would automatically add your library with new folder "Tones" under Apps folder
Open the ring tones in the Tones folder of your library than drag it to your iPhone and your ringtone also would be automatically added "Tones" folder.
Last but not least, set the ring tone in your iPhone under the "Setting-Sound"

Sorry, but you will not find any such app. The iOS itself is set up such that 3rd parth apps can have almost no interaction with any other app (exceptions being the ability of some to read data from some of the OS included feautures, like Maps reading location information from iOS location services). So there is no way to design an app that would interfere with or restrict how another app works - the iOS simply precludes that.

I discver my housemates' pc's names under "sharing" on the Finder sidebar. We all use the same wifi network at home. Neither they nor I have enabled anything so I'm just wondering what is that for and where am I able to control sharing options?
Also I can even access their iTunes libraries. How do these all work? Am I able to set any security options at all?

Hi! I searched the javadoc of Berkley DB JE, for a way to introduce entry (but I need also retrieve) data with other type than byte arrays, e.g. String, or anything else, as int may be, etc.
Still, I didn't find any such way, because the main (only?!) method to entry data into an open database - according what I found in javadoc - is:
"public OperationStatus put(Transaction txn, DatabaseEntry key, DatabaseEntry data) throws DatabaseException"
and both this and the corresponding method for retrieves, are based on the same DatabaseEntry type, which allow only entry data on byte[] support.
What if I need to use Strings or int, or even char? I must do a special conversion from these types, to byte[], to use the database?

How to use custom calendar for scheduling other than owb's default calendar

Hi All,
Can anyone please tell me, is there any possibility of using a custom calendar in place of owb default calendar calendar during scheduling. Because, in my case, the month start date and end date are not 1st and 31st that changes according to the financial calendar that is defined.
I want to schedule mappings on month end date of financial calendar. How can this be done?

The only possibility is to configure more than one schedule using the complex by month, by_ configuration. I don't know if this will work for you. Or you must use another job control system.
Can u just brief how to use it. Any other possible way of achieving my task?

I sill keep the invoice (02.03.2011), and ... I don't what to do. please, If someone have that situation,... help!

if it is locked to at&t you could possibly contact them for unlocking and cant use that iphone worldwide.

Hi Allen,
Lists are more useful and flexible in that case, you can apply a tab template on them.
Out of the box, tabs don't allow you to navigate to url's like you want to do. What you can do, navigate to a page in your current app and have in the header a redirect to the other app.
Make sure you transfer your session (and authentication) to the other app, otherwise you need to login again.

One of my app tabs for some reason opened in a new window; how do I get it back w/other app tabs on original window?

I have 5 frequently-used websites on app tabs on my Firefox browser window. I've had these since I first saw the update about app tabs, and I have never before had a problem with it.
Today, I was working in one tab, and realized I needed to check something on the website at another app tab. I have done that sort of thing many times. But for some reason today, when I clicked on that other app tab, there seemed to be a long wait like it was working hard to make the switch, then suddenly a new Mozilla Firefox window opened with the only tab being the "another app tab" that I had clicked on.
That particular app tab is now missing from my original browser window.
I must've clicked something by accident or hit another key while I was clicking with the mouse on the app tab that I wanted to look at. I have no idea why it opened in its own window and disappeared from my app tabs on the original window.
How do I get that app tab back with the others on the original browser window? Is there any way other than simply starting over and re-pinning that site as an app tab?
If I have to re-pin it on the original window, is there a way to make that app tab the 1st in sequence the way it was before it opened in its own window? It is my most-commonly-used app tab, so I'd really like it to be the first in line, so to speak.

Make sure that you do not drag a tab in the browser window.<br />
Firefox 3.5 versions and later have a feature called tear-off tabs.<br />
You can detach a tab from the current window and open it in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.<br />
You can drag that tab back to the tab bar in the original window to undo that detaching.<br />
