I don't have a walk-through but there's plenty of stuff in the manual.
You will need to perform a standard REFRESH deployment.
Basically, create a standard task sequence.
Next, from the old machine connect to the deployment share and run the \\server\share$\scripts\litetouch.vbs script.
select the standard task sequence and follow the wizards.
select the move data and settings option in the later wizard panes.
MDT will perform a hardlink in this scenario. To automate this, copy the settings from the summary pane at the end to the customsettings.ini.

I'm trying to reimage a few Windows 7 machines and I would like to use USMT hardlink to capture the users data.
Here is my current setup.
* SCCM 2012 R2 / MDT 2013
Client machine has 1 hard disk with two partitions
Partition1 Primary 1GB load with DaRT (No drive letter assigned and hidden)
Partition 2 Primary loaded with Windows 7 SP1
I setup a simple task sequence that the user can launch.
The task sequence launches and run USMT and saves the userstate to the _SMStaskSequnce directory then reboots into winpe
The Apply OS runs and trys to install the OS to the Dart Partition.
If I hit F8 and take a look at the drive it shows the Dart Drive as C and the Windows 7 drive as D.
I have added the set the variable "OSDPreserveDriveLetter" to false but that didn't not help
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm glad you got it solved. The link I gave showed how to make the dart / WinRE partition mapped to the S drive then hidden so during the apply OS step it doesn't have any issue seeing it as the first formatted drive to apply OS to. I've followed this procedure
fine with Win 7 and Dart 7 in a task sequence without any problem.
I didn't see this thread that you were still having issues until now. Anyway you got it solved.

How to use RDP client through a proxy ?

Hi,
we have some users in our LAN that have to connect to external RDP servers.
Those servers don't use RDP Gateway (and we are not the owner of those servers).
We dont want to open specific trafic from our LAN to those IP Adress on port 3389; we prefer to let this trafic goes through our proxy server (for security reason, because the direct connection will not be supervised).
So, my question is : Is there a way to configure the RDP Client (the official one or another one) to connect through a local proxy instead of trying to directly connect to the external IP address of the RDP Server ?

You could do this with an ssh tunnel and putty very easily. Most web proxies won't actually allow port forwarding like that and restricted to 80 and 443.
If you want to know how to do it with a ssh tunnel and putty let me know.
Opening outgoing 3389 from one internal subnet to specific external IP is not such a security risk. Just don't open inbound 3389 from those hosts and you should be fine?
I am not sure if outbound RDP will require inbound ports to be opened. Its quite rare that any external RDP is opened in my experience as its such a security risk (on the part of the external rdp hosts).
ITs much better to VPN to the external hosts then initiate local (via vpn) rdp connections.

How to use admin services through RIDC ?

I am trying to invoke admin services like GET_ADMIN_OUTPUT through http protocol. But RIDC uses PING_SERVER service internally which populates environment variable and does authentication. As PING_SERVER service is defined in Intradoc core services only, I am getting service not found and hence I am unable to use admin service.
Is there a work around?

I'm not sure, but I think RIDC does not provide all the services. You could go with CIS, or WebServices (you might have to create WSDL definition for your service, though).

I have not sync with another computer. Brand new Ipod touch from christmas. same computer. I have however conected it to this computer before & because I was ingnorant it synced automatically with this same computer. I was ****** because it messed everything up. So I erased my ipod completlely and started over. I also un-installed itunes and started over with its as well. I then put only music that I wanted on my ipod onto my computer in itunes.
Now I cant figure out how to get that specific music on my ipod... this is all very maddening!!.. I feel like throughing both computer and ipod out my 2 story bedroom window

I use a black background to reduce eye strain, but about 10% of the webpage I go to can't be send with black so I have to go into tools and hit 6 or 7 things to chnage it then after through with webpage have to do it all over at Not allow webpages to have own color. Very very cumbersome.

You can't.
Messages - the replacement for iChat in Mountain Lion and beyond will do Screen Sharing but only to the accounts it did in iChat 5 and 6 (actually it includes iChat 4 as well)
That is to say in earlier version of iChat you could login to AIM and Jabber servers as well as enabling the Bonjour option to chat on your LAN.
All these will do Video and Audio only chats which in turn means they will Screen Share.
At iChat 6 an Yahoo option was added but it can only Text chat (it can't even send Files or Pics)
This means only the Internet able accounts that login in to AIM or to a Jabber server can Video and therefore Screen Share.
The iMessages account will Invoke FaceTime if you use the Video icon during text chat. (I.e. it is not Video inside the app like the AIM or Jabber accounts can do)
NOTE.
AIM includes Apple Issued Apple ID as Valid AIM Screen Names.
Google Mail ID s can be used and Google Talk IDs with Messages as they run a Jabber server.
Facebook allow you to create a Chat ID (Facebook Chat ID) which is also a Jabber server.

Most of us in this forum are users who volunteer on technical issues, and not Adobe employees although they do drop in from time to time. As users we simply have no control over activation and that's why you are not getting responses.
If you havn't done so,you might try the Muse forums and see if you can get a staff member to look into it. Have your case numbers and phone transcripts handy.
Last option is to keep calling customer service until you get someone who will help or ask for a supervisor.

Of course this will take a little work, but CWSerial should be able to handle this without too much hassle. Take a look at the example program usually included in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudio\VB\Samples\Instr\Basic Serial
You should be able to use this example as a starting point.
