Actually the app comes with Office
In the Microsoft Office X (2001 version) it was still called MSN Messenger
In Office 2008 it was called Microsoft Messenger.
The current one that can also be downloaded as a standalone app also comes with Office 2011 is also called Microsoft Messenger.
This is version 8 and this version is the only one that can Video Chat as a standalone app.
Version 7 required you were in a mixed environment (with PCs) connected to the correct sort of Windows Server.

Hi,
One of the important features of screens is that they can provide users with lists of possible entries for a field. There are three techniques that you can use to create and display input help:
Definition in the ABAP Dictionary
In the ABAP Dictionary, you can link search helps to fields. When you create screen fields with reference to ABAP Dictionary fields, the corresponding search helps are then automatically available. If a field has no search help, the ABAP Dictionary still offers the contents of a check table, the fixed values of the underlying domain, or static calendar or clock help.
Definition on a screen
You can use the input checks of the screen flow logic, or link search helps from the ABAP Dictionary to individual screen fields.
Definition in dialog modules
You can call ABAP dialog modules in the POV event of the screen flow logic and program your own input help.
These three techniques are listed in order of ascending priority. If you use more than one technique at the same time, the POV module calls override any definition on the screen, which, in turn, overrides the link from the ABAP Dictionary.
However, the order of preference for these techniques should be the order listed above. You should, wherever possible, use a search help from the ABAP Dictionary, and only use dialog modules when there is really no alternative. In particular, you should consider using a search help exit to enhance a search help before writing your own dialog modules.

How to use video capture function with Ti4200-VTD8X card?

I have installed nVIDIA Capture Driver provided by MSI (come with VGA card), but don't know how to use this function, do I need to run a third party program or simething else? I couldn't find any document or information in MSI site talking about this function: "Capture the image through the video input port on the card". Please help, Thanks in advance.

First i'm sorry for my bad english
I'm a student in computer science and i have a projet to make with Developer 10g. My teacher want us to make a Help file for the user but he don't know how to do it with developer 10g.
So i've made some research on internet and i found how to create my help file. I have downloaded Oracle Help and RoboHelp.
Using RoboHelp i've create my help file and then i generate it in Oracle Help format. I generate it in a compressed and a uncompressed version(because didn't know which one i need). So now i have two folder one who containt a .jar file and another who containt a lot of files.
What i want to know is how to execute my Oracle Help in a WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger with theses files.

Showing an appropriate help topic when a "Help" button is pressed in an application or when the user presses the F1 key is what we call "context-sensitive help".
In your Oracle Help help system there is an XML map file that contains topic-ids that map to help topics. You need to associate these topic-ids with your user interface (help button, etc).
Is your project an extension to JDeveloper 10g, or are you just creating a Java application using JDeveloper? If you are just using JDeveloper to create your own Java application, then you can use the CSHManager class distributed with Oracle Help for Java to enable context-sensitive help (see the Oracle Help Guide documentation). If you are creating an extension to JDeveloper, then let me know and I'll give you information on how to set up help in that context.

How to use Search help PRCTR_EMPTY in Web dynrpo ABAP

Hi,
I have a requirement to use search help PRCTR_EMPTY as F4 help for an InputField in my application. But, in the F4 help, if I select "Profit Center Via Standard heirarchy" and search, it is giving me the following error:
"Sending of dynpro SAPLSPO4 0300 not possible: No window system type specified"
Here the search help is trying to call a R/3 screen from web dynpro.
Pelase suggest me if there is any other way to use this search help in web dynpro.

hello,
Any search help where R/3 screen is called, will not work in WD ABAP environment. You can create search help using OVS and follow the similar way of data selection as in search help.

i have created a search help in dictionary and used it in my database table. now i want to use it in web dynpro component. while running my application when im clicking on input help field, it is giving an error -"The Entered Values is not on the list of Selected Values." how do i resolve it?

     for example, create a search help for matnr in mara. create an attribute of type mara-matnr or matnr. by default you will get a search help or you can assign your own too. this is the general process.
       you might have assigned a search help of different data type to an attribute of different data type or
       you would have entered a value in the input help and then clicked the search help which is not having those values.

How to use video metadata

I’m a new owner currently working on moving my concert video collection (.mp4 and .m4v files) to the iPod Touch. I’d like to find a way to use one of the metadata fields to store an abbreviated song listing and then display it at my request when viewing the video on the iPod device. Typically a field of 250-300 characters has been required for this. I’m running iTunes on a Windows PC.
I’ve used “Get Info” to call up the dialog box with the various tabs and fields, entered test data in likely spots (Comments, Description fields, etc) but after a sync operation is completed, none of it appears to be available for display when viewing the video on the iPod.
The text I enter in the Video description field IS displayed in the description column of the library listing in iTunes on the PC, so I know my data is being stored, and at least the iTunes software in the listing format can retrieve and display it.
On a related item, I expected to see my description text entered on the Video tab when I right-click the video, then click Show Description. But the window that pops up is named “Information” and it is always blank.
So, I guess it is clear that I don’t understand how this is all supposed to work. Could someone please explain some of this to me or get me pointed in the right direction?

Looking through postings here and experimenting a bit with my setup regarding tips found there, it appears that what I want is exactly how the "Lyrics" field works for music. Tap the album cover and the art dims as the lyric text is superimposed over it, and you can finger scroll up and down if necessary. Tap again and the lyrics are gone.
But.... doesn't seem to work with videos - just music.

How to use online help instead of local help files?

I know that if I am looking for help in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9, I can hit F1 or go to Help -> Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Help...
However, I do not like that doing that sends me to the limited help files that are stored on my local drive. I would like that link to default to the online help.
Is there any way to do that?
The real reason I want to do this is because I use Mozilla Firefox and tightly control the cookies that sites save on my computer. For sites that I trust, I simply add them to the whitelist. However, I am unable to add file:///C:etc.etc. to my whitelist, so I have to approve 5-8 cookies every time I go to another page within the help files. This is extremely annoying.
In regards to this local help default over internet help, Adobe has said:
The Help menu within the product opens local Help, a subset of the content available in online product Help. Because local Help is not as complete or up-to-date as online product Help, Adobe recommends that you use the PDF version of product Help if you want to stay off-line.
But what if I don't want to use the "subset of the content available in online product Help" and prefer to simply go to the online product Help just like every other Adobe CS4 product?

You could add a custom menu item to the Help menu that executes the following line of code:

Plug the camera into the mac via firewire. Put the camera into camera mode - as opposed to VCR mode.
Open iChat. It should recognize any firewire input videocamera. iSight is firewire.
The problem you will have, depending on your application, is that after being in standby mode for a while, with no action, will force to camera to sleep. Maybe you can tweak this in the PD150 though and force it to supress the sleep mode. Don't know.
But you've already got everything you need - hardware/software related. Just a matter of whether or not the potential quirks can be eliminated/dealt with.

How to use video in a slide show

I've created slideshows in iPhoto and incorperated a mizture of photos and videos.
I've now made one using Aperture but the video does not play - it just shows the first frame. The video will play if I select it alone in the browser.

Thanks Frank, I had watched that some time ago but it was good to be reminded of it.
What I was having problems with was running the slideshow in 'manual' mode ie starting it using the Play slideshow option and then moving on from slide to slide during my talk which has no set time for each slide.
What I discover is that using the keyboard or mouse, in effect, puts the show on pause. Using arrows or mouse moved the show forward but to show video it is necessary to press space to cause it to run and then pause it again - or set slides to a very long display time.
Anyhow, unless there's a neater solution this is workable.
