How to stop zen micro firmware from changing ID3 ta

Hello
I use itunes to organise my music and whenever i use creative software to put music on my creative zen micro it doesn't understand the tagging, so i edit it again before i upload it onto my player.
My problem is that when i edit it in creatives program it changes the tagging of the file on my pc and i don't want it to do that as it's allready organised the way i want it.
Also there is a little box where you do the editing for creative which says save id3 tags. I always leave that unchecked and it still goes and saves the information. Am I missing something? How do i stop it from doing that?

I for one don't understand your question... You may want to rephrase and elaborate a bit.
Are you talking about something to install on your PC? It's true that you can use WMP (Windows Media Player) to load music to a Zen Micro with 2.00.2. You could also install the specific version of Zen Explorer (see the download section of Creative.com). You need to get the right version, because the version of Zen Explorer on the CD in the box, only works on .x firmware

Does anyone know how to use the bcc functionality for apple mail while accessing it on the cloud from my PC?

Using Zen Micro(Photo) with plain Explo

Is there a possibility to copy MP3 files simply by drag-and-drop with the Windows Explorer to the Zen Micro(Photo) so that the files are treated as MP3 and NOT as simple data files? Technically it is quiet simple to do this by using the hard disk of the Zen as an extra hard disk in Windows. Even the cheapest USB-stick based MP3-player can do this. Why not a Zen (or the iPod competition)?
I refuse to use any specific software to copy my self ripped MP3-files because I know that that software (Creative, iTunes, even Windows Media Player and other) changes things during the file transfer and I don't want any change in the MP3 files, not even a single bit!
I want to buy a Zen Micro Photo (8 GB, color screen), but I refuse to do it as long as it is impossible to crag-and-drop my MP3 files simply thru the Windows Explorer.

Yeah that's what i always did. I just drag and drop MP3 files directly into my player without using any software whatsoever.

I'm trying to see how common it is for the new Zen Micro design (the unit with an "Arrow" by itself on the back button instead of the text "Back") to be packaged in the old packaging (a cardboard box with a picture of an old text "Back" button unit on the front.) The newer packaging appears to be a clear plastic enclosure that allows you to see the unit without opening the package. So far I have only seen this packaging with black colored units.
Thus, I ask the following questions about the unit you own:
What color is your Zen Micro?
How was it packaged? (Cardboard box or Clear plastic Enclosure)
What version is it's (One with an "Arrow" or with the text "Back" for the back button)

Follow these steps to use the Bloggie® camera with the Apple® iMovie® program.
Power on the camera and connect directly to a USB port on the computer.
Once the camera is detected by your computer, the iMovie software should open automatically. If the iMovie software does not open automatically, go to the Applicationsfolder and open it from there.
In the iMovie window, choose Import from Camera...
Choose which clips you want to import and choose the Done button or choose the Import All...button to import all the clips.

Use Zen Micro as a PC Micropho

Hello everyone. Does anyone know if you can use the Creative Zen Micro as a PC Microphone? If only there was an option to play back as you speak, then I could plug it directly into my microphone socket on my Creative X-Fi.

Anw, regarding to your question, i think it's not possible. Since the microphone in the zen can only be used to record. nevertheless, it's still no harm trying. However, just to inform you, voice rec drains battery life fast.

I'm getting my Zen Micro back from repairs today, after a very long wait, Last I had it i used windows XP, but now I have changed to Kubuntu Linux. Is it possible to mount the Zen into a linux box to transfer music to it in a decent way?

Wow such a strong statement for no purpose.
I use linux too and have a zen touch. THESE FORUMS would be EXACTLY where I would ask the broad question: "Can I use Linux with my Creative Labs MP3 player?" I would not necessarily expect a direct answer, but at least redirection. Not a smart-alek answer with commands to delete my file system.

Using Zen Micro and Zen Sleek Photo software on one compu

I have had a Zen Micro for a while. No problems using it. I just bought a Zen Sleek Photo. I am going to let my daughter use the Micro and I will be using the Sleek Photo but haven't set it up yet. Can I use the software that I loaded for the Zen Micro for the Zen Sleek Photo to load music and recharge the battery? I checked on the Zen Micro- system information it is version 2..02. But I am assuming the Zen Micro software will not work on the Sleek Photo. I have only one computer and want to be able to use both MP3 players. So do I have to delete the Micro software before loading the Sleek photo software? Will the Sleek photo software work with the Micro to load music into the Micro and let me recharge the battery? I have windows XP and windows media player 0.

The Zen Micro Photo uses MTP for accessing the unit. If it is detected in WMP0 properly, then that is all you REALLY need. You may find the Micro Photo Media Explorer software usefull if you intend to use the contacts / tasks items, but that is the only program I would say is "needed" to get full function.

i'm going to asia on a trip. i was hoping that someone could tell me if it's okay for my Zen Micro to be plugged into the 220-240 voltage system if I have a wall-plug converter? (I bought it in North America).

Are you referring to the original power adaptor that was bundled with the Zen Micro player? If that's the one you're referring to then yes it's fine. The adaptor should have indication like 00V to 240 V 50/60HZ on it. This indicate that it's a 'uni'versal adaptor', and it can be used overseas as well but you will need to get a pin coverter to suit those area you're using at.

Help: Problem using Zen Micro with Yahoo Unlimited Music Serv

I get a "Error reading device contents: The Data is Invalid" message when I try to synchronize my Zen Micro with the Yahoo music engine. When I first connect my Zen via usb, the Yahoo engine recognizes the Zen Micro but it is unable to read the contents of the Zen prior to my synchronizing. After trying to read my Zen for a while, I get the pop up message described above. I am using version 2..02 zen firmware and version .0..4 of the Yahoo engine.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? Does the Zen Micro actually work with the Yahoo service?

How To Use Family Sharing on one Apple ID ?

OK....I like the new family sharing but I got around this in past in creative way.
I have one AppleID that whole family uses.....no iCloud, only use ITunes to Sync, and on each iPhone or iPad for Text & Facetime I disable in settings all but that phone # and/or email for that user. Obviously all the emails for the family are loaded/verified in my Apple ID.
For payment I had no Credit Card on account but bought the kids iTunes gift cards.
I'm trying to avoid having to setup a bunch of Apple ID accounts.
I'm hoping I can get best of both worlds........but have not upgraded any device to iOS8 yet so have not tried.
I'd like to keep the single AppleID, load in Credit Card info, go to Share and invite the other family members, set restrictions, etc.
However, my question is will/how does the "invite" work if all members are listed under same Apple ID ?
