Dear All ,
We are on EPM 11.1.2.1 3 tiers production servers .
We applied ERPi path 11.1.2.1.501 with ODI 11.1.1.5 . Integration between ERPi , Hyperion planning and EBS R12
Everything is working OK . When I loaded data and enabled drill thought .
When I navigate to data form to drill through loaded data , Drill though url is empty !!!!!
I read something at ERPi document that Drill though url must not be in this format http://<servername><port>
Do you have any solution for my problem ?!!!!

Dear Bala ,
I check Dataload workbench , I successfully can drill through EBS when I click on PTD column , But I am still can't in planning workspace
But when I am logged to EBS , I get this error

  • Dynamic drill through urls

We are trying to figure out a way to pass part of the URL dynamically to the report server so that drill through URL' are dynamic and don't have to be changes when migrating from development, test and then to production. This is a major pain as we have to modify the reports url's prior to migration.
Should a paramameter be able to pass the URL and fill the hyperlink dynamically just as we do with <column data>?
I haven't gotten this to work yet so any help would be much appreciated?
    Thanks,

you should be able to create the url dynamically with srw.set_hyperlink in the format trigger of the particular field.
    something like:
    srw.set_hyperlink('<alias>/drilldownreport.jsp?paramname='||:parametertopass)
hope this is what you were asking for.

  • How to create Drill through's from BPC to ECC and BEX

    Hi Experts,
    @Greetings@
Am new to BPC can any one help me on Drill trough's. I want to create a drill through to ECC system and BEX Query.
    Thanks for support in advance.
    Regards,
    Harini.

    Hi Harini,
Your Drill through functionality is linked to an on line search website, giving you all necessary information.
During reporting, you need to have more information about selected region.
Before performing or using the Drill-Through feature, ensure that the following prerequisites have been met
            1. You are logged on to any BPC Environment with administration authorizations
            2. From home screen, Switch to the administration area by clicking planning and consolidation                          Administration link
Inside admin area you find Drill through  maintainace in the content tree under the features node.
After opening the Drill through click on New button,
There we need to enter Id, Decription, URL and model name.
If you want do Drill- through from BEx query first you need to publish the query to portal. see below I mention the procedure for publishing a query in the portal.
BEx Query Designer: In the menu bar, choose Query → Publish → To the Portal. See Functions in the Menu Query.
BEx Web Application Designer: In the menu bar, choose Web Template  → Publish → To the Portal. See Functions in the Menu Query.
BEx Report Designer: In the menu bar, choose Report  → Publish → To the Portal. See Functions in the Menu Query.
After posting to portal copy that link paste in the URL address in the drill through.
In the parameter mapping add infoobjects technical names under parameters and Dimensions names under Dimension or user defined values and maintain the which property you want map mention under the property values.
And the save the query and go to the excel and you have an option in the excel ribbon Drill Through and click on that, you will get the query which you are posted in the portal.
    This may help,

Why did you start your message with saying hello to a particular person? That is not helpful to getting the best answers, since some people will be offended by the use of a 'public forum' for what seems like a 'private message'.
Further, though I know a lot about webstart, I don't know everything about it. Also there are many others who are capable of answering the basic questions.
I have problem to launch jar (swing application) through url.I know that i can do it with the help of jnlp but i m unable to find out the procedure to create jnlp. I tried hard to sign the jar which is the step of creating jnlp but i got exception What exception? Always be sure to [copy/paste error messages|http://pscode.org/javafaq.html#exact].
As an aside, here is an example of a sand-boxed [app. that can open & save files|http://pscode.org/jws/filetest-sandbox.jnlp]. My point is that not every JWS app. needs extended permissions, and if so, the code does not need to be digitally signed.
..and keystroke file is not created..What does that mean? Did you mean 'the keystore file'?
Note that programming is a precise business, it is important to use words precisely. Further, attempting to debug things over the net on international forums makes the precision of words an order of magnitude more important.
.. so plz help me so that i launch my jar file by clicking on url. When I see the spelling 'plz' it makes my teeth grind. If you do not use the effort needed to spell all 6 letters of the word 'please', I (usually) cannot find the motivation to reply. Take that as a warning for future posts.
Since you seem to be making efforts to use language correctly, you might want to know that the word "I" should always be upper case, no matter where it appears in a sentence. The 'always upper case' rule also applies to concatenated words starting with I - like "I'm".
Don't ask me why that is, because I don't know. Hey, I just speak English - I don't study it!

  • How to add drill-through action programmingly

I am using a third-party tool to create the SSAS cube. That tool does not have the function to create a drill-through action so I have to manually add the drill-through each time after I overwrite the SSAS database.
Is there a way to add the drill-through action through code, like XMLA? I googled this topics for a while but could not find the answer.
    Thanks.

    HI,
U can use AMO(Analysis Management Objects) to create a whole SSAS Database.
    For example
    http://avinashkt.blogspot.co.at/2008/04/olap-cube-generation-programmatically.html
This example shows the cube generation programmatically by C#. But there are alos classes and methods in AMO for Actions.

  • How to use drill-through functionality of EIS in HFR.

I am trying to use drill-through functionality of EIS in HFR but that functionality is not coming in HFR.
Can we use drill-through in HFR?

We ended up building a solution that used a related content link in HFR that called an IR report which performed the drillthrough. It's a bit complicated to setup, but possible.

  • How to Jump (Drill-through) between WebI query (also in Crystal Report)

    Hi BO experts,
I read that we can achieve drill-down in Crystal Report and WebI.
But I have requirements here to jump (like RRI or Report to Report Interface) in BEx Analyzer and to pass some values (as parameter), i need to achieve:
    1. jump between WebI queries (in WebI)
    2. jump between Crystal Report reports (in Crystal Report)
    3. jump from Crystal Report to WebI
I read that in WebI, jump can be achieved by just opening the URL of the receiver query, but we can't pass on certain values as parameter from the sender query to the receiver query (which is possible in RRI case).
Has anyone ever done it before? Please let me know how to achieve it..
    Thank you very much.

You can navigate beween report using Report Linking. This can be achieved through an Opendocument functionality.
Using Opendocument, you can call a webi report from a parent webi report and then pass parameter's as well. Wigooglth the same feature you can invoke a crystal report also from a webi report and pass values.
In crystal report also you can use Opendocument. However there are better features like sub-reports to do this.
You can google for opendocument or search in SDN to get detailed documentation of OpenDocument.

  • After having SSO user password through url not working

    Hi guys,
We have an Institutional portal and BW portal to publish reports. Before the SSO was configured we had some UrlIViews where we fixed a user and password through the url, ie:
      http://myportal.net:50400/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?TEMPLATE=TMP01&sap-client=200&j_user=user1&j_password=pwd1
    It worked fine.
Recently SSO (with SapLogonTickets) has been configured between the two portals.
I have my same user on both servers and SSO its working, even though the URL sends another user, I log on to the bw portal as my own user.
Some people do not have a BW user, so when they click the url, a login is presented with a default user (user1) and password in blank ready for input. I guess because it couldnt do a SSO.  The problem is that if they introduce the password(pwd1), or even if they change for another valid username and password, the portal rejects all attempts to log in.  Such as if tried to log in with an non existing user (using the SSO).
Is there a way override SSO when there is no user, such as it is working in the same portal but with BW R3?
    Thanks,
    help will be aprecciated

    Hi Benjamin,
I have not solved it yet as I'm delving into Flash Remoting to BC4J issues. ARRRRGGGGG!
However, I'm thinking that there may be a solution using "mod-rewrite processing" within the httpd.conf file. If I can use Regular Expressions to change the "case" in mod-rewrite then I can probably fix it. Have to dust-off my Apache Docs.

  • How to update JAR through URL

    Hello,
I have implemented a standalone JAR file for windows, that runs in a system tray for our users to use. The application is using URL class to connect to our server and feed information. Trouble is that from time to time it may be necessary to update files packed in this JAR to give it other features. Instead of asking our users to download the JAR, I would like to have an option to update this JAR with a new JAR from the server, consequently using URL class.
Could somebody please give me an idea on how to "download" a new JAR version and "replace" it with the existing one? So essential this should work as your typical "check for updates" feature. Any ideas on this matter will greatly be appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Victor.

  • How to pass parameter through URL to bounded task flow with page fragment

I want to pass parameter to Bounded Task Flow With Page Fragment trough URL
as I start this taks flow with router and according to this Param I will rout the user.
I added input param to taks flow named direction and make the task flow called URL invoke url-invoke-allowed
      <input-parameter-definition id="__41">
          <name id="__42">direction</name>
          <value>#{pageFlowScope.direction}</value>
          <class>java.lang.String</class>
</input-parameter-definition>but I don't know how to add this to the JSPX that I will add the bounded task flow Inside.
and How to pass this from URL

    Hi,
url-invoke-allowed is only required if the task flow itself is directly accessible from a browser (which is not the case at all if the task flow uses page fragments). To pass input parameters to a task flow that is embedded in a region and that has input parameters, you define the input parameters on the taskFlow Id that is created in the PageDef file of the containing page. To learn ADF task flows, have a look at the videos below. They also contain a sample for passing parameters to a region

  • How to call report through URL(without displaying userid info) ?

I want to call report in my APEX application.
I can get it run like this :
http://hostname:port/reports/rwservlet?module=invoice.rdf&userid=oe/oe@tnsalias&destype=cache&desformat=pdf But showing the userid in the url would have serious security problem.
How could I configure the report to set the default userid, so that I don't need to define that in the url ?
And is there any way to integrate this authorization with my APEX application ?
