How to view deleted apps ?

Hi - I have an app that I deleted on the iphone (just on the iphone - not itunes). How do I get it to be visible on the iphone again - I tried deleting on itunes and readding but it still does not appear.
Thanks

If the app is selected in the list on the Applications tab in iTunes and you click Sync, the app will be transferred to the iPhone (unless it's already on there). Have you looked through all of your home screens?
If all else fails, you can delete the app from iTunes (and agree to the prompt to delete the original file) and re-download it from the App Store in iTunes (even it it's a paid app, +after you click Buy+ you'll be prompted that you have already purchased the app and offered a free download).

    Hey there Matt.dvs1,
Although there is not a way to remove past purchases from your iTunes account completely, you can hide them so that you don't have to see them if you don't want to. This article will help you do that:
iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases - Apple Support
    Hide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
From the Store menu, choose Store > Sign In, and then enter your Apple ID and password.
    Go to the iTunes Store.
Click Purchased from the Quick Links section on the right side of the iTunes Store.
Choose a content type by clicking Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books from the top of the window.
A list of your purchased items for the content type you are viewing will appear. Mouse over the item you want to hide until an X appears its top-left corner.
A confirmation dialog will appear once you click the X.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the best,
    Sterling

  • How can I delete apps in iTunes and have that sync to my iPhone and iPad?

How can I delete apps in iTunes and have that sync to my iPhone and iPad? I don't want to delete 3 separate times for each item. I just carefully chose 30-35 apps to get rid of via iTunes, hoping it would sync to my devices, only to find I have to repeat the process on my iPad, take notes, then repeat it on my iPhone. It wasn't always so tedious was it?
Here's the "Help" I got from Apple. They even quoted my question back to me then proceeded to answer with something very different and completely missing the point.
I understand that you would like to delete the Apps. I know how eager you are to get the required information and I will be happy to assist you.
You can remove individual songs, audiobooks, and videos from your iPod, iPhone, or iPad. Removing an item from your device doesn't delete it from your iTunes library.
To remove items from a device other than an iPod shuffle, first make sure that iTunes is set up to manually manage items.
    1. Connect your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer.
    2. When the iPod, iPhone, or iPad icon appears in iTunes, select it.
    3. Unless your device is an iPod shuffle, click the Summary tab and make sure "Manually manage music and videos" or "Manually manage music" is selected.
    4. If the disclosure triangle to the left of your iPod, iPhone, or iPad (below Devices) is closed, click the triangle so that you can see the device's contents.
    5. Select the item you want to delete and press the Delete key.
This was not helpful in any way and I am still unable to delete apps on my devices in a global, iTunes based way. Each device still requires its own independent process.

Match was off.  I made all of the changes and then went through the "Turn on iTunes Match" option.  I now have deleted some tracks, edited the Metadata in CDDA, and then added it back.  This worked fine, but it is not a good solution.
I just tried making some edits and use the "Update iTunes Match" and that seemed to work.  It looks like the real answer is that Match must be up and operational, then you can make changes and run the Update to incorporate the changes.  However, if Match has a problem then Signing Out and back in to your store account and going through the process of Turning On Match (were you get the questions, "Add this Computer to Match" will overwrite any changes.
Since this relies on the stability of iTunes, I won't be making a lot of changes between updates.

  • Is there a way to view/delete apps that won't fit on the 11 screens?

I have more apps than fit on the 11 available screens - is there a way to view/delete apps that aren't on the 11 screens? I know I can launch them from the search facility, but that doesn't give me a comprehensive list or the ability to remove?

You can only remove them in iTunes on the computer.

    You cannot.
The entire point of this is that you can redownload any and all of your past purchases.

How do I delete apps on my macbook pro?

Depends on the application...some you can simply drag to the trash, but with most it is best to use an uninstaller provided by the author of the software.  Many of the larger applications place files in numerous locations, libraries, etc.  So you need to know everywhere a file has been placed.  An uninstaller should go get those files and remove them.

You can't delete any of the Apple built-in apps e.g. Music, App Store, Game Centre etc. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

  • How do I delete apps on my ipod touch?

How do I delete apps on my Ipod touch, it wont give me the little x option to delete them, could it be because my Ipod has restrictions?

To remove the Restrictions passcode you will need to Restore the Device as New...
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
You will not be able to perform a backup as this would include the Restrictions passcode... which is what you have to remove...

  • TS4009 How do I delete apps from iCloud?

How do I delete apps from iCloud?

You can't at this time. Apple FAILED to permit iCloud user with  ability to delete programs that you deleted from your iPad/iPhone  devices.  As great iCloud is just know that if you download an app and don't like it you stuck with it in the cloud dispute you deleting it from your device.
APPLE, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX THIS? At least make it a belated Christmas gift to you fellow Apple clients. PLEEEEEEASSSSSSE! Thank you!

How do I delete apps that I do not want on my device anymore?

    DELETING APPS
Touch the app and hold your finger down until all the apps start to jiggle. You will see a circled "x" in the upper left corner. Tap it to delete an app. When done press the Home button.
You cannot delete any pre-installed iOS app.
If there is No 'X' on any apps you have Downloaded... then check in Restrictions... Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps  =  Off / On
If the app is in iTunes, then you delete the app in iTunes (Select the App and Press Delete on your Keyboard). If you then sync with your iDevice, the app will also be deleted from your iDevice.

  • Can somebody please help me and tell me how i can delete apps permnently with an iphone 4S with an updated IOS 8.1.2

WIth the updated IOS 8.1.2 on my iphone 4S i can't seem to delete apps permanently. Can somebody tall me how i can delete apps please.

    Are you syncing with iTunes?
If so, then you must mark the Apps that you have deleted in iTunes to not reload. If this isn't done they will return after a sync.

What apps are you trying to delete? Apps that come on the phones cannot be deleted in this fashion. Only apps you purchase from the app store can be deleted.

  • How can i delete apps for IOS 7.0.6 when i press the home key the "X" key doesnt appear

how can i delete apps for IOS 7.0.6 when i press the home key the "X" key doesnt appear?

    Hi-
This worked!. After updating to 7.0.6 a few days ago I was unable to delete apps. Called Apple support for help without success. I have NEVER entered a passcode to get in to restrictions so I know I didn't make this change (so I'm assuming that 7.0.6 did it for me). Apple wanted me to restore my iphone but thought I'd do more research first. Your advice solved the problem. THANKS!
