How to view details in folders?

Before upgrading to Lion I was able to view the storage capacity at the bottom of the folder, no matter what folder I was in, but now I'm unable to see how many GB are left on my HD, I need this inforamtion so I know when to move my movies, etc to the external drive from iTunes? Any help, advice?

Anyone know how to view your call history online. I went to verizonwireless.com and signed in.
I tried the view usage but it just said so many minutes of so many minutes.. I'm looking for detailed calls, like phone numbers.
I lost a number and I know I called it on a certain date and want to find the number again.

It sounds like this may be a pre-paid account or possibly you are on a family plan as a secondary number?
If this call is fairly recent it may be in the call logs on the phone. On a basic phone, if you press the "Send" button you can pull up a history of calls sent and received. On most smartphones, pulling up the phone and pressing the "History" will do the same.

How to view details of excluded items?

I have 3 partitions that time machine wants to backup. Two of the partitions are similar (one is Panther the other is Leopard), and they have similar structures (ie, they have /System, /Library, /Users etc..).
There are only certain directories from each partition that I want backed up, so I go about excluding those that I don't want...
When I go into Time Machines exclude settings, and select /Library from both of the boot partitions, then all I see in the exclude list is /Library twice. There appears to be no way to tell which /Library is from which partition (or drive for that matter).
How do I view the details of what is in the exclude list so that I know I have the correct exclude settings in place?
Is there some graphical viewer that will tell me what is excluded from each partition?

I just think it is an obvious need for anyone who is seriously going to use TM. I've used Retrospect for backup in the past (it came with my Maxtor external drive) and I believe it told you the exact things it would backup (or not).
The plist does show the full path, like:
"/Volumes/B_Panther/Developer",
"/Developer",
"/Library",
"/Volumes/B_Panther/Library",
but These just show up like so in the Dialog:
Developer
Library
Library
Developer
So, if I want to modify one of my settings, I'm forced to delete one in the Dialog (hope that I chose the right one) and then recreate the modified exclusion.
Unless...can I edit the plist file manually? Hmmm, would that work?

How to view details of Deleted physical Inventory document in a site?

Can anyone throw light on the process to view the details of the deleted physical Inventory document. The status of the document was- Just created , neither counted nor posted. Please let us know the table name or transaction or report to view the same... We are unable to locate the details from ISEG and IKPF table... Is there any other means to find it?

I am not sure how you have deleted your physical inventory document.
Let us assume you created a physical inv. doc with 2 line items (materials) as an example.
- If you either have hit the 'trash can' delete indicator on the MI02 'initial screen' OR if you hit the 'Deletion indicator' (for both the items) from the MI02 'overview' screen, then you have effectively deleted the physical inv. document itself from the database (IKPF or ISEG tables). You CANNOT retrieve the document any longer.
- If you hit the 'Deletion Indicator' indicator (say for only one item) from the MI02 'overview' screen, then you are simply flagging the item for deletion (ISEG-XLOEK deletion flag is set with an 'X'). In this case, the physical inv. document still remains in the database.

Create a JTree model that only reads the children of node when required. I use a simple cache (I hate using a cache but in this case it is needed) to minimise the number of disk reads but I use a TreeExpansionListener to remove items from the cache when a node is about to be collapsed e.g.
    public void treeWillCollapse(TreeExpansionEvent event)
        Object lastElement = event.getPath().getLastPathComponent();
        childCache_.remove(lastElement);
    }

How to view a position details in PO13, when the same position in viewed ..

How to view a position details in Po13 transaction, when the same position is viewed by some other person.
When I try this , it shows me an error message that some other person has locked it.
How to unlock it ? Is there any way where I can unlock the transaction, so that I can see the details of the same position which was viewed by the other person.

You can use the transaction SM04 to unblock it. But the other user's session will be deleted. Easier way would be to use transation PO13D to view the position.

How to view folders with folders first and then files?

I come from a Windows world but am loving the Mac world! But one thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to view folders with all the folders first and then the files? Right now, it sorts everything in alphabetical order, intermixing the folders and files. I like being able to see the folders sorted at the top and then the files. Is there a way to do this?

If you want a more advanced browser, Pathfinder generally comes highly recommended.
I'm not aware of a way to make folders sort on top. I generally detest that feature in Windows, because it messes up keyboard navigation. Both operating systems support jumping to a file by starting to type a name, but on Windows you don't know where you end up. If I have a file called "notes", I know that typing "N" will send me somewhere very close to the file, and a few arrow presses brings me to it - if I do it on a Mac. If I do it on Windows, it depends on what is selected - if it's a folder or nothing, I jump to the first folder beginning with N, but if it's a file, I jump to the first file beginning with N - in a completely different part of the list. I do use folder grouping in some windows on the Mac, though, by adding a space to the name. Ideally, it should be a per-window setting.

I'm currently developing a search results page.
I'm trying to do a nice view instead of a default table like view from the interactive reports. So in this case i enabled the detail view so i could make fancy designs.
all worked well and looked neat but however when i pass value from my search page using IR_ROWFILTER and clear the results page using page_no,RIR, it brings me to the interactive reports result page with the default table like view.
i have to press the detail view to get it. i tried saving it as default but it wont work. this issue is for public user.
if i make the page requires authentication, and save the detail view as default i would not have any problem. i could search and it will straightly bring to the detail view of the search page.
of course the other reason i found is because im using the IR_ROWFILTER and clearing page using page_no,RIR..without it,it works well but i need it coz im doing a a search result. i need to send search text from another page and put it in the filter in the search page. i would need to use RIR to clear it for searching again.
is this a limitation for public user? it doesnt happened for authenticated user though..
how can i make this view as default for public user?

Do you really need this to be an IR? Other than the detail layout, do you require any of the interactive features? If not, try using a standard report with a custom report template.

I want to be able to view logs of all connections made using my AirPort or Time Capsule. I know how to use the AirPort Utility to view a list of who is currently connected to the WIFI network, but that is a snapshot in time. I want to be able to look over a log of connections (successful and failed) over the past days/weeks but haven't found a way to do this. Can anyone help?

Sorry, but Apple dropped all logs in AirPort Utility 6.x versions starting about 2 years ago.
If you still have a Mac running the Leopard (10.5.x) or Snow Leopard (10.6.x) operating system, you can use AirPort Utility 5.x to view detailed information about each wireless connection.
An application for Mac like iNet might provide some useful basic information.
