How to view develop adjustment photos on LR3.2

I noticed after adding adjustment on library view, it stamps a small icon on the right lower corner which is very helpul.  I have many photos and when I want to separately view the only adjusted photos, how do I do this?
I am sure it is simple but being a novice to this great tool just learning, thanks in advance.

Make a Smart Collection that includes the criteria for adjusted/changed photos.  I can't remember the exact name of the option in the drop-down, but it is there.

  • How to view iphoto 9 photos after iphoto 11 upgrade?

I just upgrade to Lion and installed iphoto 11. I was previously using iphoto 09. I'm now trying to open iphoto to view my photos and it tells me
"Your photo library will not be readable by previous versions of iPhoto after the upgrade. The upgrade process for very large libraries may take an hour or more to complete."
Questions: 1. I assume this doesn't mean my previously stored photos will be deleted. But, how will I view them? 2. Where will I find them stored?
    Any answers or suggestions?

You are simply upgrading your iPhoto library forr iPhoto '09 to iPhoto '11 - and iPhoto '09 can no longer open thelibrary - you view them as always using iPhoto (but '11 now)
And as always backup prior to any update or upgrade in case of problems

  • How to view (NOT download) photos on mac?

I'd want to use my ipad to view photos that are on my mac, preferably in iphoto, but as jpegs if necessary. Please note that I do NOT want to copy photos to the ipad,  just view them using the ipad. And I do NOT want to use icloud.
This should be straightforward.  After all, it's really just a file transfer mechanism that feeds into a photo viewer.  But I can't find a way to do this.  Has Apple really omitted this?  Is there an app for this (from Apple or a third party)?
    thanks

I use FileBrowser to view files and pictures on my computer.

  • Best way to get already adjusted NEF photos into LR3???

    Hi,
I am just starting to use Lightroom.
Now, my issue is how to get my old Photos into the Lightroom Database. The new Photos are no issue with as long as I get used to using Lightroom&Photoshop :-)
These "old" Photos have already been going through the adjustement process in Capture NX2. Lightroom and CaptureNX2 are saving the RAW editing in different positions. This leads to that the editing would be lost by importing them straightforward into Lightroom.
So, I do not want to perform the editing on thousands of Photos again. I do however want to get them into the Library Database of Lightroom.
My wish is to be able to see the Photos in some form ( JPEG??? ) as well as being in the database. Optimally the NEF should be connected to the view format.
My first thought was to convert the NEF to jpeg before importing them into Lightroom.
Pros: The NEF and JPEG sticks together (jpeg as a hidden piggyback)
Cons: I only see the NEF version and not the jpeg => "lost" the editing. I hoped to find a way to swap it around ( RAW as a hidden piggyback).
Question: Is there anyway of swapping the piggybacking around?
An other suggestions are also welcome!
I assume that there are some others out there that have experienced that same issue and found a solution to it.
    /Erik

I have used Nikon Capture NX2 quite a bit but am not using it anymore for the following reasons:
LR cannot read NX2-nefs; and NX2 cannot read LR's edits.
In my workflow I need LR and its image managing capabilities and its capabilities to sync multiple images fast.
After using LR since LR2, I am finding that LR 3 gives me all the editing tools that I need and I don't see any necessity to use NX2.
Sure, the U-point technology was great when nothing like that was available. But now I find that I can achieve the same results with LR's editing tools.
I would not want to have images on my computer that LR cannot read - or only if I create JPGs or TIFFs first, which just clogs up my hard drive with copies.
My advice would be: Learn to use LR's image editing capabilities - and particularly the local adjustments - and have all your images in LR.
If you have lots of images - as I do - to work with two different image editing softwares that cannot read each others edits is - in my view -  a recipe for frustration and unnecessary work.
I love Nikon's cameras and lenses but for image editing LR is my choice.
BTW I am neither an Adobe employee nor do I own Adobe shares.

  • How can you develop photo galleries with multiple pages using the web module?

Going through the web module I can see there are many options for developing a web page with a single collection of photos.  How can you develop a web site with multiple pages containing different categories of photos using the Lightroom web module?

This thread will give you several ideas.
Re: How do you embed a gallery into an existing website?

  • In iPhoto if I select View, then Sort Photos by title, how do I stop it reverting to sorting by date when I close iPhoto and re-open it later?

In iPhoto if I select View, then Sort Photos by title, how do I stop it reverting to sorting by date when I close iPhoto and re-open it later?

In what mode, Events, Photos or in an Album, are you when you select View ➙ Sort ➙ By Title?
As a first fix attempt try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Mt. Lion from the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
    Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE 1: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto.  You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2:  In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

  • HT201077 how do you view pictures in photo stream

Have set up photo stream on  my mac and sent some pictiures to my wife.  She has an email and when try and open the pictures says must have updated Mountian lion and iphoto and icloud
So I updated them all on her machine but still clicking on the email just brings a message saying need updated icloud etc?

Finally after three tries you explained
So you are using (or trying to use) a shared PhotoStream
Did you read the instructions in the links I posted?
What do I need to use Photo Stream?
To use Photo Stream, including Shared Photo Streams, you need an iCloud account, compatible devices, and up-to-date software:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 6.0 or later
Mac with OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.2 or later and iPhoto 9.4 or Aperture 3.4 or later
PC with Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) and the iCloud Control Panel 2.1 or later for Windows
Apple TV (2nd generation) with Software Update 5.1 or later
You can still use Photo Stream without Shared Photo Streams if your devices meet these requirements:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5.1 or later
Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and iPhoto 9.2.2 or Aperture 3.2.3 or later
PC with Windows 7 or Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) and the iCloud Control Panel v2.0 or later for Windows
Apple TV (2nd generation) with Software Update 5.0 or later
For complete iCloud setup instructions, visit How to set up iCloud.
How do I turn on Photo Stream?
Once your devices are up to date and you have set up your iCloud account, it’s easy turn on Photo Stream on any of your devices. Here’s how:
On your iOS devices, go to Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and turn on My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams.
On your Mac, go to System Preferences > iCloud and select the checkbox for Photo Stream. Click the Options button to verify that both My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams are enabled. Then, open iPhoto or Aperture to confirm that My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams are turned on in the application you want to use with Photo Stream. You can also adjust your Photo Stream settings in iPhoto or Aperture Preferences.
On your PC, open the iCloud Control Panel for Windows and select the checkbox for Photo Stream. You can click on the Options button to verify that both My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams are enabled and adjust the settings. Be sure to click Apply.
Does she have OS X 10.8.2 or above? Does she have iPhoto 9.4 or above?
