How to view iPhoto journal in iCloud

Has anyone figured out how to identify the URL to view the "Home Page" in iCloud for journals created by iOS iPhoto?

I quote:
Select a Journal and tap > iCloud.
Tap to turn on "Publish to iCloud".
To list your Journal on a home page, tap to turn on "Add to Home Page".Note:  If you add a Journal to your home page, visitors to the Journal can also see your home page and any other Journals you’ve added there.
To email a link of your published Journal or home page, tap "Tell a Friend".
To view your published Journal or home page in your device’s web browser, select a Journal and tap > iCloud > View in Safari.
To delete your Journal web page from iCloud, tap and tap to turn off Publish to iCloud. This removes only your Journal web page; your Journal is still on your device.

Hi, I shared iPhoto journal in icloud. Journal is no longer be used now. How can I delete it in icloud?

    See this link:

To delete a web journal, tap Projects to see all your journals, touch and hold the journal you want to delete, and tap .
You can delete Web Journals only on the device, that has been used to create and publish them.

You can't, photostream isn't part of iCloud.com, currently.

  • I can no longer publish iPhoto Journals to iCloud

I have succesfully published and shared many iPhoto Journals to iCloud over the last few months. This was my main reason for purchasing the App.
It no longer works, I just get a spinning wheel and the perpetual indication that the journal is uploading. I have checked my iCloud storage space and have over 4GB of space so that's not the problem. I keep the iPad and Apps up to date. I have also tried deleting iPhoto from the iPad and starting over.
Any ideas or is this a known bug that requires an Apple update in the future?
    Thanks!

I have since received AppleCare's advice:
Backup then restore iPad as new.
This worked, albeit a rather frustrating and unelegant solution.

  • HT6378 How to copy iPhoto albums to iCloud Photo Library?

I have several years of photos in my iPhoto library.  How do I copy these into iCloud Photo Library, retaining all my albums?  I don't want to just copy all the photos without keeping my organization.

After having upgraded all devices to latest version, I wonder how do you get now the Mac iPhoto library into iCloud Photo library? iCloud Photo Library setting has been enabled on all devices.
iPhoto on your Mac is not supposed to work with iCloud Photo Library. The new "Photos" app for the mac will be able to do it. The release of this app  has been announced for "Early next year".
For now, only your mobile devices can upload to iCloud Photo Library.  So you have to upload your photos to the mobile devices to get them into iCloud Photo Library Beta.
That is not easy, because you cannot upload from your iPhoto library to your iOS 8 devices using iTunes with  iCloud Photo Library Beta enabled on the device. It will disable syncing photos with iTunes. As long as you are using  iCloud Photo Library Beta, mail the Photos to your devices or upload using Photo Stream.

  • HT6378 How to upload iPhoto library into iCloud Photo library?

    Hi,
I am having a MBP mid 2012 w/ Yosemite along w/ iPhone and iPad, all running 8.1. After having upgraded all devices to latest version, I wonder how do you get now the Mac iPhoto library into iCloud Photo library? iCloud Photo Library setting has been enabled on all devices.
On the iCloud, All Photos folder just shows a fraction of what's on my Mac iPhoto library, probably the most recent pictures I have taken and there's no sign of any automatic uploading as suggested by all Apple Ads...
    Thanks

  • How to view iPhoto pictures?!

OK guys... this will sound a newbie question... but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to view pictures from my iTunes lib on my Apple TV without have to 'Sync' (copy) them to the Apple TV.
Right now I cannot only copy the pictures to the Apple TV.... but I want to just be able to 'stream' them from my Macbook.... is that now possible?
    Cheers!

You can connect your tv with itunes on your computer in two different ways. I prefer to call one a primary and the other a secondary, others will call them paired and shared and others will call them syncing and streaming.
Basically a primary (paired or syncing) library allows you to sync content or stream it or a mixture of both. You can only connect one primary library to an tv.
A secondary library will only let you stream content, but you can have up to 5 of these.
The one exception to this is photos which have to be synced from a primary library, you don't have the option of streaming, so to stream photos you have to use a secondary library.
JGG isn't saying you need 2 computers just to watch different types of content. If you want to stream photos then you will need to stream everything (movies, tunes etc etc), what JGG is saying is that if you didn't want to stream everything and say sync a few movies but stream photos then you would need two computers, or since you are using a mac run two user accounts.
Can I ask why you only want to stream photos.

  • How do I view iPhoto pictures on iCloud?

How can I view pictures that are on my desktop on my iPad through the iCloud?

You can't as far as I know.  The iCloud is for displaying photos taken with your iPhone or iPad. You can confirm this by asking in the MobileMe community: MobileMe on my Mac: MobileMe: Apple Support Communities

  • How to view my photos in iCloud?

I upload some photos to iCloud and sent a mail to some friends. How can I myself look up the photos in iCloud?

    Hello there, Toelpel.
The following Knowledge Base article answers a number of questions in regards to Photo Stream:
    iCloud: My Photo Stream FAQ
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4486
    Particularly:
How do I view My Photo Stream?
iPhone, iPad or iPod touch: Your photos will appear in the My Photo Stream album in the Photos app. If you're using iOS, you can find your photos by tapping the Photo Stream tab, then tapping the My Photo Stream album. In iOS 5, your photos are in the Photo Stream album.
Mac: Your photos appear in the Shared albums section under iCloud in iPhoto 9.5 or Aperture 3.5. In earlier support versions of iPhoto and Aperture, your photos appear in the Photo Stream section. In iPhoto 9.4 or later or in Aperture 3.4 or later, open the My Photo Stream album.
PC using Windows 8.1: From the Start screen, click the down arrow in the lower-left corner, then click the iCloud Photos app.
PC using Windows 8: From the Start screen, select iCloud Photos (or Photo Stream in iCloud Control Panel 2.0 to 2.12).
PC using Windows 7: Click the Windows Start button, then click Pictures. Click iCloud Photos or Photo Stream under the Favorites menu in the panel on the left. Double-click My Photo Stream to view your photos.
Apple TV: After signing in with your iCloud account, you can view your photos by choosing iCloud Photos or Photo Stream from the main menu (or selecting Internet > Photo Stream in Apple TV Software Update 5.0).
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • How to view iPhoto library in finder so photos can be transferred to PC?

I'm going to store my iPhoto library on an external hard drive by default because I want to be able to view the photos on a PC. However when I import photos from my iPhone, they appear in the iPhoto application but how do I view them in the finder so that I can easily view them as individual picture files on a PC?

You can not do that  --  the iPhoto library must be on a volume formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and the PC can not read that - and iPhoto has no cross platform capability and the library is not designed for direct access - it is not supported
You neet to use a different program tha does have cross platform capability
Or you can export photos from iphoto and have them on the PC or a drive the PC can access

  • Cant find my iOS iPhoto journal in iCloud

When I go to iCloud on my MBP I only find options for Mail, contacts, calendar, find my iphone and iWork. How do I get to the rest of my iCloud content?
I want to share my journal among other things.

You can only create a Photo Journal in the iOS version of iPhoto on your iPhone or iPad:
    http://help.apple.com/iphoto/ipad/1.0/#blnkaf3ef70a (iPad)
    http://help.apple.com/iphoto/iphone/1.0/#blnk26d8ed3e  (iPhone)
Could you please amend your signature as I assume you can't have 10.6.7 - having the wrong system can cause confusion when people try to answer your questions.

  • How to use iPhoto Journals?

    Dear All,,,
Any help about Photo Journals ?
1st, I can use Journals from iPhoto app in iPhone, but How can I use it from my Mac?
2nd, The way of sharing my albums through Mobileme is really great comparing with Journals from the Link point of view. From mobileme, you can type www.me.com/username/gallery and you can get all albums, so the link it self is more easy that enough to pass it to friends with ease. With Photo Journals, the link is not like this, but its too hard, but you can not use it unless you send it from the app it self.
So, any help about this? I might miss something.
    Regards,
    Abdelaal,

Journals are not a feature of iPhoto for Mac. Suggest to Apple. IPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback
MM no longer exists. It was discontinued 6/30
