How to view log notes

Hey everyone!
This may be a ridiculous simple question to answer but does anyone know how to view the log notes that you enter in FCE after you have transfered your footage?? I can't seem to find them and I would like to just use those rather than going back over and marking the footage again.
Again, I'm sure this is something simple I'm missing but your help is appreciated!

Yeah the Browser is in list view but the column for Log Notes if entirely blank, making me think they somehow ended up not being saved or were inadvertently deleted.
Is there some way else to access them?
Thanks again

  • Viewing log notes?

    i have a project with all interview footage, which i imported from log and transfer where I logged the footage with a great deal of writing in the 'log note' field before i imported it.
    when i use Find (Command+F) and type in a word to search for the clip I need, nothing comes up.
    How can I view the log note for a clip? Where is that information that i typed?

    yes I knew they would be displayed there but there isn't anything there.
    I think I have found the reason - when I imported the clips, I deleted the clips from the bin when i was done with that card, so i can organize my captured clips in the finder, then re-import the clips in 1 folder into fcp.
    apparently, when you do that, it erases the LOG NOTE data that was entered. every other piece of info is there still, EXCEPT for the 'log note' info.
    I just did a test and that seems to be the case.
    I just wasted one week of work and most likely going to have to re-log everything.

  • View log not showing physical SQL generated in OBIEE 11.1.1.6.7

    Hi,
    I am currently using OBIEE 11.1.1.6.7 version. In this version I am unable to view the physical SQL generated by OBIEE under Administration --> Manage Marketing Jobs --> Select a Job --> Click on View SQL OR Administration --> Manage Sessions--> Select a Job --> Click on View SQL. It is not showing the physical SQL generated by OBIEE for a report or segment which I have executed.
    It was available in previous version i.e. OBIEE 10.1.3.4.2.
    I have searched in metalink and it has been suggested to use the following <Filters> section into instanceconfig.xml file. I have added the following details into existing instanceconfig.xml file and then restarted the BI services. Still the problem persist.
    <Filters>

    Thanks,
    Prasanta

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
    We used to view the log details (physical SQL) using Manage Marketing Jobs in OBIEE10g.
    In OBIEE11g we can see the job details and when selecting a job (under Action column Details link) there is an option in left pane as 'View Log'. If I click on 'View Log' it is showing as 'No Logs Found'.
    Just wanted to confirm if this is an issue in OBIEE11g.
    Also, I believe there is a limitation in 'Manage Session' to view the number of job details whereas in 'Manage Marketing Jobs' section we can increase the number of jobs to be displayed.
    Thanks,
    Prasanta

  • Materialized View Log not empty

    Hello all
    I have an oracle database (11g version), connecting via dbLink to another DB (10g version), and using it's tables as masters for fast refresh materialized views.
    To make it simple: I have master DB, with master table X, and Materialized View Log MLOG$_X.
    Then, I have replicate DB, with dblink pointing to Master, and Materialized View MV_X, using X.
    The materialized view is refreshed fast, on demand.
    The problem is, the MV log is never getting empty... how can I solve this issue?
    /* code for creating MView */
    CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW "MY_USER"."SI_BANK" ("ID", "NAME", "ACRONYM")
      ORGANIZATION HEAP PCTFREE 10 PCTUSED 40 INITRANS 1 MAXTRANS 255 NOCOMPRESS LOGGING
      STORAGE(INITIAL 163840 NEXT 1048576 MINEXTENTS 1 MAXEXTENTS 2147483645
      PCTINCREASE 0 FREELISTS 1 FREELIST GROUPS 1 BUFFER_POOL DEFAULT FLASH_CACHE DEFAULT CELL_FLASH_CACHE DEFAULT)
      TABLESPACE "USERS"
      BUILD IMMEDIATE
      USING INDEX
      REFRESH FAST ON DEMAND START WITH sysdate+0 NEXT SYSDATE + 1
      WITH PRIMARY KEY USING DEFAULT LOCAL ROLLBACK SEGMENT
      USING ENFORCED CONSTRAINTS DISABLE QUERY REWRITE
      AS SELECT ibanco id, nbanco name, nsigla acronym FROM USER.tgtbanc0@DB_LINK;
    /* code for refresh group*/
    BEGIN
      DBMS_REFRESH.MAKE ( name => 'si2p_grp',
      list => '', next_date => 'SYSDATE +1' , interval => 'SYSDATE + 1', implicit_destroy => FALSE, rollback_seg => '', push_deferred_rpc => TRUE, refresh_after_errors => FALSE);
    END;
    /* ADD MATERIALIZED VIEWS TO GROUP */
    BEGIN
        DBMS_REFRESH.ADD ( name => 'si2p_grp', list => 'SI_BANK', lax => TRUE);
    END;
    Thank you for any help

    One MV log serve to many materialized views. Check dba_registered_mviews on master DB to see how many MViews you have build on you master table X.
    After MV (materialized view) is refreshed than all data logged in MVlog for this MV are deleted. But new are recorded when DML are performed against table X.
    If you can stop DML on table X for some period of time then do MV refresh and then you can see that MVlog is empty.

    I have a Wireless LAN Controller 4402 and WCS 7.0, and I have a few MAC addresses that are "disabled" due to policy violations. How can I view a log or a report that will show me if these MAC addresses are still attempting to connect?

    if the clinet is excluded.. then the client will not be able to connect at all... if you want to see the Logs.. i guess we see that on the TRAP logs, if not then we need to run the debug..

  • How to view log of the exception occured in an application

    Hi All,
    While running the webdynpro application in the portal currently we are displaying some generic error messages in the catch block to make it user friendly.
    If some exception occurs, how is it possible for the user to view the error log in the portal itself so that the user may get a clear and detailed description of the same.
    Kindly suggest a solution for this.
    Thanks,
    Mitali

    Hi Mitali,
    To view the logs use the url http://<host>:<port>/nwa > Monitoring
    OR
    can look up the exception ID by doing the following.
    1. Navigate to System Administration->Support->Portal Runtime->Log Viewer
    2. Enter the exception id in the Search box and click on search in all files.
    3. It should popup a new window with your error message.
    OR
    all of your portal logs will go to defaultTrace.trc which is located under cluster/server0/log
    You can still watch this file through the portal log viewer.
    OR
    It it does not work for changes in the log viewing

  • How to view "Log data changes" - TC?

    Hello SDN-Community,
    i have activated the flag "Log data changes" in se13. Now i want to view the data changes, made in this table.
    1. I know there is a transaction to view those changes, only i can't remember.... I trust somebody else does!?
    2. Do i have to activate the flag "Change document" in all data elements of the corresponding table (se12/Further characteristics/Change document)??
    Please help! Answer(s) will be rewarded....
    Thanks!
    Gunther

    Log data changes
    The logging flag defines whether changes to the data records of a table should be logged. If logging is activated, every change (with UPDATE, DELETE) to an existing data record by a user or an application program is recorded in a log table in the database.
    Note: Activating logging slows down accesses that change the table. First of all, a record must be written in the log table for each change. Secondly, many users access this log table in parallel. This could cause lock situations even though the users are working with different application tables.
    Logging only takes place if parameter rec/client in the system profile is set correctly. Setting the flag on its own does not cause the table changes to be logged.
    The existing logs can be displayed with Transaction Table history (SCU3).

  • How to view Log on the cisco 2821 Router

    Hi,
    can any one help me  to view the Log on the Cisco 2821 router for any  issue occur.
    Thanks,
    Saroj

    Cisco devices use the syslog to manage system logs and alerts. But in Cisco devices there is lack of large internal storage space for storing these kinds of logs.So to overcome Cisco devices has the following two options:
    1) internanal buffer — That is a small part of memory buffers to collect log the most recent messages. The buffer size is limited and , when the device reboots, these syslog messages are lost.by default it is on
    (If not follow this steps
    conf t
    logging on
    logging console.....console logs
    logging buffer  size ......set the size of buffer
    terminal monitor.......to gets logs on the remote terminal like telnet,ssh etc.
    sh logging.........to see buffer logs.)
    2) Syslog server—  By using this we can send messages to an external device for storing this logs and the storage size does depend on the available disk space of the external syslog server. This option is not enabled by default.
    If you have any syslog server please find the below simple config .
    conf t
    logging host x.x.x.x
    logging traps (i.e 0 1 2 3 4 5 .. according to your requirement)
    before enabling logging be sure that your router is properly configure to collect proper time from any NTP server or manually configure to get time
    command to set time manually on router is (set clock ) or to use ntp server use ntp server x.x.x.x to sync clock to router router.
    Hop thant is informative ,

  • How to view logs in case of stand alone deployment

    Hi,
    I have deployed my UI app on a WLS server (A standalone deployment). And my UI has an LOV and i want to find out the exact query that it is firing when i click on the LOV (They query has some bind variables too).
    So for this i need to see the wls logs (sql query especially) from UI. But since its a standalone deployment, i am not able to sucessfully see the logs.
    I tried following
    1. put the "-Djbo.debugOutput=console" as the java_property in setDomain.env file.
    And then i bounced my container. I never see any sqls in any of the logs under AdminServer or in the terminal where i start my container.
    2. Tried putting the same option in WLS console ..as mentioned in this thread - Where to put "jbo.debugoutput=console" in WLS?
    With this option, when i set it in environment->servers->your_server_name click on the 'Start Server' tab and put it to the 'Argument' text field, i dont know where is it creating the log file.
    Should i be giving it as "-Djbo.debugoutput=file' " or a <filename> in "'-Djbo.debugoutput=<filename>' " ... i tried both anyway but it doesnt create any file.
    Could you please let me know what is the proper way to see the logs in such case and also if there is a way out, could you please list the steps to implement or point to a document on it ?
    Thanks,
    Suman

    Hi Suman,
    You could try setting -Djbo.debugoutput=ADFLogger and then either editing logging.xml or using the Oracle Diagnostic Logging screen in OEM Fusion Middleware Control to ensure that the oracle.jbo logger is set at a low enough level.

  • How to view presenter notes while recording slide show?

    Hi,
    I am a new keynote user.
    I was wondering if there is a way to view notes/presenter tools while recording the slideshow. Currently when I start recording the slideshow it jumps to the full-screen slideshow view and I am unable to see the notes.
    Thanks.

    I think you will need to connect a second display.

  • How to view logs of web application deployed in oc4j

    Hi,
    I have my oc4j server running, I have deployed a web application under instance DCG.
    Please let us know, where can I find the logs of my application.
    Thanks,
    Nagesh.

    Usually while deploying a application through "Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control" we specify the log and configuration path needed for developed application provided developer has developed the application to store the logs. by default all logs will be there in opmn logs.
    you can have a look on following locations
    +$ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/DCG~OC4J* <OC4J name>+
    or
    +$ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/<OC4J>/log/<OC4J>/oc4j/log.xml+
