How to view my memory?

i have macbook pro and new imac
How can i see my memory or how much memo have i used and have left??

It is a little deceptive. In addition to free memory you also have wired memory. This is an amount the OS has set aside for the system. Tons of free ram and a decent sized wired memory is good.
Your bottom line is performance. If the “pages out” portion reads zero then your machine is not accessing the virtual memory, which is tons slower.
There is no better (and cheaper) upgrade to your machine than ram. I would max out your ram as soon as possible.
Some tasks are slow or stutter not because of your ram situation but because of your video ram. Intensive graphics, games, Garageband, etc. need a good graphics card to run well. You can see what you have by selecting the Apple menu and clicking on “ About this mac.” Click on the “More Info” button and select “Graphics/Displays.” You will see information about your VRAM. (Video ram) If your video ram is shared with your other ram then it is even more vital to get more ram.

Please, do not offer the generic (and out-of-date) Pavilion 17 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide. It does not appear to apply to the 17z-F series. This guide instructs to remove the bottom service panel which I could have figured that out on my own. However, the 17z-F series does not appear to have any removable panels at all. I took an up-close look at the Pavilion 17z-F100. And, it does not have any removable panels on the underside, except for the battery. So, I presume the 17z-F200 to be the same.
I am a computer technician. And, this is the first laptop I have seen without any service panels. I am probably going to have to disassemble the entire outer-shell to install memory (or to replace the hard disk drive once the time comes). But, every laptop I have worked on in the past had its own special array of hidden screws or special tricks for disassembly. So, having a maintenance guide is a necessity to avoid damaging plastic mounts, clips, guides, etc.

Don't get me started on this. It's one of my pet peeves, too. HP is not the only one doing this. Acer and Toshiba, etc. also are selling "closed" systems now. I hate it. I took a look at the Pavilion 17z-F100 (sent by mistake). It does not have any removable panels on the underside. And, the User Guide for the 17z-F200 indicates that it will be the same (assuming it ever arrives).

Hi Ansar,
Do you have the full logging and trace level in SXMB_ADM enabled.
In system the tracing is not enabled since it will occupy more memory . But you can turn it on and off in SXMB_ADM under the intergration engine configuration and press the help button to get all the parameters you can set.

How to define the memory leak in stability test

Usually, we run our system with 70% CPU load for 72 hours for stability test (on solaris 10), because some plugin of our system is using mtmalloc, and we use prstat to monitor the memory of each plugin. But because of the complex memory usage of our application, we don't know when the application will use the Max memory, and because of the "mtmalloc", the memory showed by "prstat" will not released but continually increased.
So fro the test point of view, there is the risk of memory leak, but actually, there may be no memory leak, so my question is how to define the memory leak in such condition.

How to view database core dump file

I have an Oracle server on windows 2000. Now, I found the oracle server will produce a core dump file in ..\cdump directory. But this file is only a system memory image, so it's hard to analysis the core dump reason, could you tell me how to view this file? thanks

There's no much useful information for you too see. You can create a SR with Oracle support and upload file if you want to investigate the cause of core dump. also check if there's any errors in your alert<SID>.log and core_dump_dest

OOM PermGen... How to view the content of permgen

I have a pretty big java application running on windows and linux (redhat) using JBoss as the application server.
The application has been running for a long time without issues and now, with the end of a new release of our software, under heavy load, we are running out of perm gen space.
What I would like to see is a tool that lets me view the content of the perm gen space so I can determine why we are using so much memory.
I am aware of jmap -permstat (on linux only) that should let you view some info about permgem but for me, jmap connects to the java process and never comes back. I tried a profiler (jprofiler) and again, I can't find info about what is occupying the permgen memory space.
Can someone suggest tools, or methods to get to the content of the permgen space so I can determine what our issue is?

you can use the file mgr on the phone to see the file structure of your phone memory, if you want a more detailed view of ALL folders and files including system and hidden, you can use a third-party file manager (x-plore for example). let me remind you that playing with these folders and files can be dangerous.

When originally creating the pdf, you would need to choose another pdf conversion setting. In Word if you use the pdf menu, change your settings there: Adobe PDF > Change Conversion Settings. I would use High Quality Print instead. If you use the File > Print method, click the Properties button next to the Adobe PDF printer selection.
For your already created form, you can change the file so your users will not encounter issues. In Acrobat 9, which hopefully is similar in process to 8: Advanced > Preflight > Profile tab > PDF/A compliance > Remove PDF/A information.(You'll have to unsecure your form first).
