How to view my saved proxy login & password information?

So let's say I forgot them and I need to see them, where does Firefox store them? I checked cookies.sqlite file and tried to find by proxy's ip/name keywords but nothing was retrieved as a result.
So is there a way I can look up the proxy's login and password?

See:
Passwords are encrypted and stored in the signons.sqlite database file.
You can only see those passwords in real text in the Firefox password manager.

  • Resetting saved proxy login information

The network at my school requires you to login through their proxy. It worked fine until I had to change my password and now it still remembers the old password and has a prompt pop up every time I try to open a new webpage. I use auto proxy discovery but if I switch to web proxy, I put in the user and new password then apply, but it fails to connect and When I reopen preferances the old password has been put into the window with the new one. How can I remove/update the saved password?

    I have a problem that could be related;
I am using my mac book air on my comapny's network ( through Ethernet)
I have, as instructed by the IT guy, keyed into the network settings pane ( system pref -> network -> advanced -> proxy) my user name / password, but this will NEVER be remebered
    - if I revisit the same preference pane 5 mins later, the fields are empyty ( though I had cleiked "apply")
    - and differents programs ( mail, ..) constantly ask for the proxy login/password
Where should I see this password stored in key chain ? I do not see any item named "proxy" or so ?

    Try this:
Reset User Permissions and ACLs in Lion/Mountain Lion
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
From the Utilities menu select Terminal. At the Terminal prompt enter: resetpassword. Press RETURN. When the window opens select your startup drive where it says "Select the volume containing the user account:" At the bottom of the window you will see, "Reset Home folder permissions and ACLs." Click on the Reset button.

  • How to view/sync saved WiFi passwords on C3?

I need a way to view / sync saved WiFi passwords in order to use them with another device.
Where they are stored on a C3, and how to recover them to a PC?

    @borga
If you are the Administrator of PC you could always get information from router or via Windows itself, but you are not going to be able to access passwords of all previously visited "hotspots".

  • How to view/modify saved passwords

It seems impossible to view or change individual saved passwords. The only way seems to delete all of them.
    Is there another way?

    Hello @Fffred,
The only way you can modify or view passwords on android firefox is through a plugin.
''"There's no option for viewing saved passwords on your mobile you have to use add-ons like https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/mobile-password-manager/ if you wish to save your password and view it in the future."''

  • Safari/KeyChain Not Saving Yahoo Mail Login/Password information?

I have a MacBook Pro laptop, Mac OSX Version 10.6.8 and Safari browser Version 5.1.7  Snow Leopard. The problem is ... I recently changed my passwords on my Yahoo Mail accounts.   Safari will not prompt to save my login information for Yahoo Mail. It works with other web sites and worked with yahoo mail before I changed passwords.
My attempts to correct the problem have been unsuccessful. I have tried the following:
    1. Ran Updates
    2. Clicked on Safari > opened Preferences >clicked Auto-Fill all 3 boxes checked
    3. Finder >Applications > utilities > KeyChain     I found Yahoo mail and removed the old ones.
    4. With KeyChain open > Clicked KeyChain Access > Clicked KeyChain First Aid and Verify    No problems found
    5. KeyChain Access>  File > New Password Item>  Typed in KeyChain item Name as https://login.yahoo.com and tried mail.yahoo.com typed in Information and saved.
I have checked the apple sites, the only thing I have found is what I did in #2. the boxes were already checked.
May be I am missing the obvious here. If there is a solution I would appreciate the help. ?

I'm having the exact same issue with Yahoo only on my iMac after changing the password.  I've been trying to fix it since yesterday, and yes I'm updated.  I also tried several fixes for the trojan.  Not luck for me yet.
    Corrections Completed for Safari 5.1.7:
    1- verified all updates completed
    2- deleted cookies for everything
3- deleted keychain access for yahoo account. Interesting is that after deleting cookies and keychain, the username and old password keep populating but it hasn't stored the new password because I never received the prompt to store.

  • How does Apple TV 2nd Gen Store Password Information?  Secure erase?

I have a 2nd generation Apple TV that I'm selling.  I had my Apple ID, password and WiFi password on it.  I did a "reset" (rather than a restore - the device is worth more with v4 on it than v5).
If it were a computer, I would zero the data on the hard drive before selling.  I realize that the 2nd gen has no hard drive, but is there anywhere that the device stores this information that could be accessed by someone through hacking it?  Or does the reset take care of that?
    Thanks!

Thanks for the response!  Aside from installing the latest software (which, as I mentioned, is undesirable from a selling standpoint), how does a Restore differ from a Reset?

  • How we can get the current login user information.

    Hai Experts,
How we can get the Curren Runnig user, while running the application,
I tried the below one, but it was not working,
    Dim s As String
    s = objApplication.Company.UserName
    Regards,

    Hi.
Are you try to get and present current user name in workbook or WAD ?
You may use user exit variable based on sy-uname.
If you run WAD you may use built webitem info_field and show current user name.
    Regards.
