How to view photos on another device

I have edited, added captions and organized a collection of photos and the collection plays back just fine with PSE on my PC. Now I would like to copy this same group of photos and view them in the SAME ORDER on my iPad and another PC. How do I do this? I understand that I will lose the captions, but that's okay. Can someone suggest a method to do this?  Thanks.

I just checked Windows Picture and Fax viewer... It plays the files in the order they are placed in file system.. So if you sort by name and play in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, it should play in same order.. Don't forget to rename accoring to the order...
How to rename:
1. Add all files into an album
2. Reorder them to get right order
3. Select the album and you will see desired order in Organizer
4. Go to File menu and rename all the files by selecting each of them
Now export and move to other machine... Sort these files by name in a particular foder and open in Windows Picture and Fax viewer...
Other solution is to create slideshow through Organizer and play anywhere you want....

The "caption" is metadata.  Metadata is included in most image-format files.  How it is displayed is determined by the program you use to show the picture on the computer screen.  You currently have Aperture set to "over-lay" the caption at the bottom of the Image.
What program are you using on your other devices to show the files?

Generally I would not use Facebook for sharing any photos, it compresses the photos substantially, and when you have shadows and dark colours you get visible "bands" where there should be subtle gradients, ie at sunsets and sunrises.
It sounds like you are using two methods to upload to Facebook:
    1. Sharing from within Aperture, which basically syncs Facebook with your Aperture album, so any changes made at either end gets synced, hence the deletions from Albums, although the original file should still be in your library, just removed rom the album. It is like a playlist in iTunes.
    2. Exporting pics and uploading to Facebook from the browser.
I am not sure how method 1 gets compressed, but I know that uploading hi-res jpegs to Facebook using method 2 results in poor quality images.
I wouldn't even bother comparing option 1 or 2, and they will both be poor images once you view them on Facebook, as opposed to viewing uploaded images on proper image sharing / hosting sites.
Your problem is not with Aperture, it is using Facebook for showing your work.
If you export pics form Aperture at high res jpegs or TIFFs your images will be fine.
If you insist to use Facebook as your way to share your work, then your workflow should be this:
    1. Right click images you want to share.
    2. Select Export version.
    3. Export as 100% size and ensure the export settings are set at 100% quality.
    4. Upload this pic into Facebook.
This will get you the best image size and resolution on Facebook.
    See how you go.

Is it possible to view photos that have been uploaded on icloud from an iphone user?I have been invited to view photos by email from a friend and I when I try to subscribe I get a message that the device is not compatible. Is ther any app that can help?

There are many apps could help actually. However, I have used FonePaw iPhone Data Recovery to view iCloud photos on my PC. It is a tool that can view and recover iCloud photos,  so you can view all photos by downloading the iCloud backup file. Actually, except for photos, you can also recover other data such as recover deleted contacts from iPhone, and iMessages, call history, calendar, notes etc. with this program.

How can I view photo stream comments similar to those on the iPhone?

As far as I know the soft key icons hides when you watch a video but the "list" at the bottom is still there. It might be different in 3rd party photo/video players. So check Google Play for alternatives.

  • How to view photos from iPhone on Mac???

I have an iPhone 6 and I would like to get all my pictures on my Mac. Do I have to do this through iCloud or is there another way to get my pictures onto my Mac Pro laptop??? I do have an iCloud account but just as soon not put all my photos in iPhone if I don't have to, but not sure if this is required. When I sign into iCloud I don't see anywhere to see my iPhone 6 photos??? Can anyone give me instructions on how to get my pictures from my iPhone 6 to my Mac laptop to save them there? Any and all help appreciated as I am not really techy so need easy to follow directions. Thanks so much!

    Hi Gary,
To access photos on your Mac, you need to plug your iPhone into your Mac with the USB cable. Next, the iPhoto app should automatically open. If it doesn't, go into Launchpad or the Applications folder on your Mac and open iPhoto there. Once iPhoto is open, you should see your iPhone under the 'Devices' tab on the sidebar. Just click on the 'Import Photos' button and it will import the photos you have taken on your iPhone to a folder in iPhoto.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards, Seth
