How to view pictures sequentially?

I have a Nokia E71 phone and would like to know how to view pictures in a folder one after the other (that is, without having to press the back button). it seems like the built-in app won't do that. I'd also like the similar capability with video files too. Are there some recommended apps? Please suggest. Thanks.

Bought 10 gb Uploaded Iphone and IPad2, left with 2gb space.  How to view pictures and other info in ICloud?  Can I upload documents from my desktop (Windows os)?
    Thanks.

If you backed up your iphone to icloud, then there's a chance that doing a restore might bring back your photos.  I say "chance" because many users have tried that (assuming they had photos turned in for backups in settings), but ended up not getting back any photos.  If that happens, then they are gone.
Remember, you should have been syncing photos all along to a computer for archiving.  Don't trust the pictures to an icloud backup.

The important thing to remember abuout iPhoto is that it's a database. And like any db, the data must be imported into it. By default, when you import the pics to iPhoto they are copied into the iPhoto Package File in your Pictures Folder. If you have NOT changed the default, then yes, you can trash the pics outside of the iPhoto Package File.
    Most people do this.

  • How to view pictures as "fit-in" in Photos

Is there a way to view pictures in landscape mode in Photos as "fit-in" rather than "fill-in" mode by default? I just bought an iPhone 5 today and am disappointed to see that my photography work, which is taken in a 3:2 aspect ratio, is strechted out into 16:9 when viewed in landscape mode in Photos. I can manually "unzoom" and view the entire picture, but when trying to show someone an album, this can be quite frustrating. Alternatively, is there another gallery app that can allow me to set a "fill-in" view mode by default?
    Thank you in advance,
    Francis

    Hi Vikas
Thanks for the tip. It was interesting insight into HTMLDB internals....
I'we found the way how to do the same job with a standard report template by building the SELECT in the following way:
    select col1,col2,col3,col4,col5
    from(
    select
    opportunity_name col1,
    lead(opportunity_name,1,'') OVER (ORDER BY opportunity_name) col2,
    lead(opportunity_name,2,'') OVER (ORDER BY opportunity_name) col3,
    lead(opportunity_name,3,'') OVER (ORDER BY opportunity_name) col4,
    lead(opportunity_name,4,'') OVER (ORDER BY opportunity_name) col5,
case when mod(rank () OVER (ORDER BY opportunity_id) -1,5)=0 then 1 else 0 end endofline
    from opportunities
    order by opportunity_name)
    where endofline=1
BTW: It's a tip for HTMLDB developers

What about to add the classical Windows File Explorer Viewer with "Small Icons/Large Icons/List Detail" display options as one of standard report templated???

How does one view pictures on a disc in a slide show??

Insert the disk into your MacBook and open the disk icon in Finder. Now select all of the image names that you want to see (use Shift-click for contiguous selections, Command-click for non-continguous ones). Next, hit your space bar to enter the Quick Look function, and the first image will pop up in Finder. The controls at the bottom of the picture will allow you to view the photos in full screen and to stop/pause/play the slideshow. Enjoy!

If so, the pics are in .png format. You should be able to change to .jpg using a graphics app on your computer.

Im new to macbook pro from pc...i used to view photos from usb or sd card without importing it to computer...all i have to do is insert the sd thru usb and double click on one of the pictures and click the arrow to view the next picture.when im done i simply eject it.but in macbook pro (mountain lion)i have to double click the thumbnail and close it and double click another thumb nail to view another picture using the preview.i dont want some photos to be imported to iphoto just to view by slideshow.thanks

There are a couple options. First, you can choose Edit -> Select All and open all the images in Preview. Then you can navigate between images in Preview. Another option is to choose one image and press the space bar to open Quicklook, then press the up or down arrows to move between images.

  • HT2476 How to view pictures folder in find when pictures folder goes automatically to iphoto?

Does anyone know where to select the finder program as the default for viewing photos in photos or pictures folders?

    Hi dean192,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
You can use the method from this article to choose which application you'd like to open photos (such as .jpg files):
Viewing PDF documents in Mac OS X with Preview
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TA22545
Note that Finder is used to browse the files on your computer, but you can use Preview to quickly view image files.
Select the PDF file in the Finder.
From the File menu, choose Get Info.
You can also ctrl-click or right click the file and choose Get Info.
In the Info window that appears, click the disclosure triangle next to "Open with."
Set the pop-up menu to Preview.
Click the Change All button that's immediately below the pop-up menu.
    Cheers,

  • How to view pictures from a mac from another computer

i just got a macbook. my friends and family always ask to send photos of me or my family to them because they always want an update. but they always end up saying that they can't open the photos(they have windows or dell).so how can they open them?

If you're sending the photos to them via Mail, you should make sure that Edit -> Attachments -> Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments is checked. Also make sure that the photos have the appropriate extension on the end (.jpg, .tif, etc).

  • How to view pictures on my mac

I consider myself a very technologically apt person. I can fix most my computer problems, and understand most software with an amount of ease. but i'll be honest, i never deal with pictures. I dont even own a digital camera actually. But i have all these pictures from my girlfriend that ive been starting to organize. I've put them into an iPhoto library. Great. Should i delete the pictures in the pictures folder then since they are already saved in iPhoto? It seems silly to have two sets. I don't really know what protocol is. What do most people do?I realize this is a very "noob" question, but not gonna lie, i just plain am not sure of the best way that people digitally organize their photos and such.
I feel dirty deleting them form the pictures folder. Idk, just looking for what you guys do.
    anyway..thanks.

  • How to view iPhoto pictures?!

OK guys... this will sound a newbie question... but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to view pictures from my iTunes lib on my Apple TV without have to 'Sync' (copy) them to the Apple TV.
Right now I cannot only copy the pictures to the Apple TV.... but I want to just be able to 'stream' them from my Macbook.... is that now possible?
    Cheers!

You can connect your tv with itunes on your computer in two different ways. I prefer to call one a primary and the other a secondary, others will call them paired and shared and others will call them syncing and streaming.
Basically a primary (paired or syncing) library allows you to sync content or stream it or a mixture of both. You can only connect one primary library to an tv.
A secondary library will only let you stream content, but you can have up to 5 of these.
The one exception to this is photos which have to be synced from a primary library, you don't have the option of streaming, so to stream photos you have to use a secondary library.
JGG isn't saying you need 2 computers just to watch different types of content. If you want to stream photos then you will need to stream everything (movies, tunes etc etc), what JGG is saying is that if you didn't want to stream everything and say sync a few movies but stream photos then you would need two computers, or since you are using a mac run two user accounts.
Can I ask why you only want to stream photos.
