How to view presenter notes while recording slide show?

Hi,
I am a new keynote user.
I was wondering if there is a way to view notes/presenter tools while recording the slideshow. Currently when I start recording the slideshow it jumps to the full-screen slideshow view and I am unable to see the notes.

I know! I need the same help because I use the presenter notes as a script. I could attach a second monitor, but if that is the only way to see presenter notes while recording, it is an impractical solution.

Presentation strategy - viewing notes while projecting slides?

I'm giving a presentation with a projector in a couple of weeks. I'd like to project the slides on the screen, but be able to view the notes for each slide on my computer. How do I configure Keynote to do this?

AS you have discovered, the Keynote Preferences Slideshow menu will enable you to "Present on secondary display" - i.e. show your slideshow to your audience via the projector. While in this menu, check any (or all) of the other display options that work for you. (I strongly recommend the first four square boxes).
Then, in the Presenter Display Preferences menu, be sure to check the box "Use alternate display to view presenter notes." This will put the presenter notes display onto your computer's monitor. I also recommend checking all of the options boxes - especially the "ready to advance indicator." This provides an excellent visual guide as to when Builds and Transitions have completed and the next "click" can be executed.
The Edit Presenter Layout options allows you to arrange the various elements in the display to suit your own tastes.

From the top menu bar:
Keynote > Preferences > Presenter Display
You should see a list of options. Check the box next to "notes"
That will let you see the notes on a dual screen setup.
You can change the layout of the presenter's display by clicking on "Customize Presenter Display"

And created note( customer online super user - customers - notes - create note)
Note type : Complaint
Visibility : Public
Note : abcd
and Apply.
My question is
'Where can I view the note after create note?'

Rating images while in slide show mode?

Is it possible to rate images while in slide show mode? I didn't see a reference to it in the manual. If not this would be a very handy feature (you can do this in LR)

I have used full screen and other layouts to do ratings. I was running through my 1st major project and fine tune - wanted to filter out some images by lower ratings. Actually I would like to pause a slide show and do whatever to images, then continue, and have the music continue as well - without starting over. As aperture is mostly flexible in regard to adjusting image settings whenever (as compared to LR, which seems more modal), it seems like slide slow is more limited then it could be. Its sometime nicer to sit back rather than working the keyboard constantly. And i'm not thrilled about using a 3 key combo to explicitly set ratings. that's a 2 handed operation for something, so I mostly end up using the -/= keys.

How do I move Elements 8 projects (slide shows) from a Windows XP computer to new Windows 7 computer that also has Elements 8 on it so that the slides shows will work (Elements 8 works well on the Windows 7 computer & I have done several new slide show projects on it)? I tried backup & restore without success. I have also found the .psess files and copied them to the catalog in the new computer but when the sides shows are opened none of the images or music is there. Only the text that I entered shows. I have even tried to replicate the file paths from the XP computer to the new computer to see if that will help.

UPDATE: By a stroke of luck I happened to find a catalog link (a PSE8D file) in the 'My Catalog' file where the imported data was stored. When I clicked on it to investigate what is was 'magically' all of my transferred projects appeared in Organizer. Upon further investigation I found that the projects transferred from my XP computer were stored in a hidden catalog that had to be accessed through the Custom Location option in Catalog Manager (accessed by clicking File then Catalog then Custom Location). No Windows or Elements search revealed this fact. I am appreciative that I just got lucky. The Adode/Photoshop company was absolutely of no help. If fact to me their structure is designed to avoid contact with their customers unless you're buying a new product. Their products have many good features (even though user unfriendly) and it's a shame they don't value their customers more once the sale is completed.
Bottom line: All of the projects (sideshows) have been recovered and work in my new Windows 7 computer. I hope my experience helps others.

Are you using two displays? Presenter notes only appear on the Presenter Display, which is set up in the Keynote Preferences.

How to view what I am recording on my pc - Canon Vixia HF R400

Hello. I purchased the Canon Vixia HF R400 to record arts & crafts tutorials that will be uploading on YouTube. I would like to be able use my pc as my screen, as opposed to the the 3.0" LCD Screen on the camcorder. Is it possible to connect the camera to my PC with some interface software or equipment?
This is all very new to me and I greatly appreciate any help provided.

Is there a way to print presenter notes with multiple slides per page?

I know you used to be able to do this with earlier versions by selecting options in the print dialog box, but I'm now using Keynote 6.1 on Mavericks, and I can only figure out how to do one or the other, not both. There will probably be over 100 students printing these out, so I'd really, really like to save paper by putting multiple slides on a page, but I want them to have both the slide and the notes.

Hi, can I set my presenter notes as a master, ie, can I somehow set the notes as a default to display 'notes:' on all of the slides for example?

Under "View" you may select "Show Presenter Notes". Then all the notes show when you are viewing the slides.
Similarly, when you print, you may select to print handouts with the notes.
All the masters have presenter notes, so this is not something you have to add to a master.

Viewing Presenter Notes

I can't seem to get my presenter notes to advance or scroll down. When I go to slide show I can only see the notes in the available space. Any ideas as to how I might use the scroll bar to to see the remaining notes would be greatly appreciated.

To scroll the notes up, press the "U" key. To scroll the notes down, press the "D" key.
These and other extremely handy (but not otherwise easily discovered) keyboard shortcuts can be found under the Help menu, in the Keyboard Shortcuts menu item.
