How to view PSU info in shell?

Using dmidecode --39 only gives this:
> sudo dmidecode --type 39
# dmidecode 2.11
SMBIOS 2.4 present.
No info about the PSU. I have sensors working but nothing about the PSU in there. I'd just like to view the PSU's brand, wattage, any details, in shell if possible.

It appears as though your BIOS is unable to provide dmidecode with that info. If you run "sudo dmidecode -t" it will tell you the information types it is capable of extracting. On mine, as yours power supply info is unavailable.
If you have a desktop the easiest way to find out about your PS is to look at its internal label. You might have to remove it to do this, but often not.

How to View Markers info in Timeline

In old FCP6 when I clicked on a marker in the timeline, it showed its title in the Viewer. Is there any way to do something like that in FCPX?
I place a marker when the audio trax changes. I then export the video with the markers and that allows the musical director to go directly to a specific audio track for rehearsing choir. I just want to confirm I have the correct audio trax in the Marker Title via a quick click, without having to open each marker to confirm...

There's a small list icon at the bottom left corner of the FCPX window. Activating it will show the "Timeline Index". At the top is a search field and just below are three options: Clips, Tags, Roles. Click on Tags and selecting the Marker icon at the bottom will list all the markers in your project. Clicking on any of the items in the list will immediately place the playhead at that time in the storyline.
If you convert the pertinent markers to Chapter Markers, those markers are included with the Quicktime movie export. The chapter markers show up in Quicktime at the right of the timeline as a dropdown menu.
To convert a marker to a chapter marker, you can double click on the marker in the storyline or timeline index and select the icon at the top, far right of the marker popup dialog (the shape reminds me of a "blue ribbon" award.)

In nautilus, I can right-click a video file and see the audio/video codecs and details of the video in the properties tab, but I do not use nautilus and am curious how I can do this otherwise in another app and/or CLI? Thanks a lot for any help

Wow, I didn't even realize smplayer was out there, it's fantastic! I was using mplayer to play 720p (does it the best) but VLC for all else. I think I have a new regular player

How can I view page info without right-clicking?

Hi, I've recently updated to Firefox 4.0.1, and with the "tools" menu gone, I can't find out how to view page info anymore without right-clicking. This can be a problem for sites in which right-click is disabled. I have also tried ctrl+I, but this only opens the bookmarks menu. Is there a way of viewing page info in the new Firefox without right-clicking?

Why doesn't the "View image info" show how many frames are in animated gifs?

When I right click on an image, then click "View Image Info" it used to show how many frames were included in an animated gif. This stopped working in Firefox 4. Why is that?

Hi I would like to ask how to view the current settings of the sequence i am already working in, the same information that appears when you first open a new sequence

I have forgotten which setting I chose for my current sequence and have tried to look under project settings and also sequence settings
but the info that you see when you first open a new sequence doesn't show, especially if the editing mode is PAL or NTSC etc.
How can I find out this information that my current sequence is on?

If you backed up your iphone to icloud, then there's a chance that doing a restore might bring back your photos. I say "chance" because many users have tried that (assuming they had photos turned in for backups in settings), but ended up not getting back any photos. If that happens, then they are gone.
Remember, you should have been syncing photos all along to a computer for archiving. Don't trust the pictures to an icloud backup.

How can I access "View Page Info" in firefox 7 or whatever the newest version is?

The new setup is real cool and all, but I can't find like half of the stuff I could in the new small drop down menu. I use the "view page info" button quote a bit but cannot seem to find it in this new layout. Where is it?

Only able to view entered info. on PDF form when I preview it?

I was almost finished completing a 127 page form and when I went to open it today I was unable to view all of the information I have entered. The info. is no doubt there because I can view everything I've entered when I preview it but once I open the document completely I can't view anything, even if I click on the box. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think that's the problem because I just reloaded the original form and typed in a few entries and was able to view my info. I just submitted another question as I think the problem may be that the file has a lock icon but I have no idea how I locked it. Below is my entry. Any help would be appreciated!

I've been working on a 127 page pdf form for a couple of weeks and have saved all of my information multiple times. I recently opened the document to complete the form(I literally had 2 entries left) and I am unable to view any of the information I've entered. The information is no doubt still there because the original form is 7mb, and my saved form is 7.26mb. I am also able to see all of my information when I preview the document by opening the my documents window and clicking once to preview the form in the same window, however can not see any of my information when I attempt to edit it and open the form completely. I am using a PC, windows 7. I'm assuming I can't view my info. because I somehow locked it but I am not asked for a password when I open it. I recently downloaded the original form again and typed in info. and there is no lock icon when I save it under a different name and I'm able to view the info. entered. I have no idea how I locked the form or if this is the reason I can't view the info. when I open the documetn completely. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In the How to Papers, you will find a Guide on how to take a Sanpshot view of the Stocks(How To Handle Inventory Management Scenarios in BW). Basically if you implement the Guide, you will have another cube called ICSNAP1, which will contain stock quantities /values at the end of each month. You will therefore have to take stock at the end of the last month from that cube and add up the relevant receipts and issues to arrive at the current Stock or Stock as on a particular date.

Data Transfer Process filter: how to view the filter values?

does anyone know how to view (and download) the values of a filter of data transfer processes?
I want to compare the filtervalues of data transfer processes from productive system with development system. Normally the DTP's are created in a development system and transported with TMS to quality and productive systems. In the productive system there is often the need to slightly change the values in the filter, and to do this directly in the productive system without transport.
If the same DTP is used and changed by another project after a while, it will overwrite the changes from productive maintenance.
By comparing the filter values one could evaluate the changes.
For info packages there is the same need. Here you can use table RSLDPSEL. Is there someting like that for DTP?

the difference you have in the infopack and DTP is
you can have any number of infopackages between the source and PSA but you can have only one DTP between the PSA and datatarget.
so there is no othere way than changing the filter values in the existing DTP.
just chk the filter option and choose the required chars for ur load and activate the DTP.

I have a two node 3.2 cluster. Due to some reason the active node fail over to standby node. Please let me know how to view the time and the reason of fail over in a log file? I checked /var/log/cluster but could not get this info.

as I said before, nearly all problems with SC can be analyzed using the messages in /var/adm/messages. There are additional SC specific log files in /var/cluster/logs, most notably the commandlog, that tells you which user issued what cluster command. And there are dataservices specific logs in the DS subdirectory. This is sufficient. I do not think that having access to the eventlog will help you any further. I have never used it so far and I am a heavy SC user for 10 years :-)
