How to view skimming or trimming in main viewer?

Hi, I'm really sorry- this must just be really obvious, but I just can't figure it out-
Can anybody tell me how to simply view my skimming and trimming in the main viewer? Right now all I see is the tiny little insufficient representation of it in the clip, while the nice big main viewer is black - but that's obviously not the way it's supposed to work. You obviously need the larger view to make a reasonable edit decision. But I have looked all over the boards, and the manual, and here is no discussion/answer for this- which leads me to believe that it's very obvious and I'm just a bone-head.

I've only been using iMovie 08 for little over a month so am also on a learning curve - having said that, there are some very talented people on this forum providing very useful information.
EDIT: You say you imported the video into iMovie 08 using the 'import' option, but where did the original footage come from - video camera or DVD?

Aperture allows for trimming the audio of any clip that you drop as background music onto the film strip. The clip appears as a green bar, and you can drag it to the place where you want the music to begin, also you can shorten/trim it by dragging the handles at the ends of the audio region.
For example:
If that does not suffice, you can use iTunes to trim the music. For any song in iTunes you can set the start and end time in the "options" pane of the Information panel. Then create a new, shorter version of the song, using the menu
Advanced -> create ... version.

How to view the payload of a Message if it processed through AAE

Hi All,
Can anybody please tell me how to view the payload if the message processed through Advance Adapter Engine.
I have developed a SOAP to SOAP interface by using Advance Adapter Engine and it is working fine I can see the messages in Runtime Work Bench(RWB) but when I clicked on the Sender and Receiver Adapter I can't see the payload so I am wondering if anyone knows how to view the payload or it is possible to view the payload if the message was processed through Advance Adapter Engine (AAE).
Is there any setting or properties available in NWA to enable or disable the payload of AAE?

Someone please help me with instructions on how to view my bookmarks. I bookmarked a book today for the first time. My pc shutdown for some unknown reason. When I restarted the pc, the bookmarks were gone! Im on Windows 7 home premium.

When you click the yellow star, a bookmark usually is added to the "Unsorted Bookmarks" list at the very bottom of the Bookmarks menu or Bookmarks sidebar.
To choose a more useful destination, you can click the star again and select another destination.
(I don't know whether you can change the default behavior of the star so that your bookmarks are always added to the main list. I don't see such an option listed here: [http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-use-bookmarks How do I use bookmarks? | How to | Firefox Help])
Edit: To add a page to the Bookmarks Toolbar, you can drag and drop the site's favicon (to the left of the URL) onto the Bookmarks Toolbar.

I am trying to open a website that is using Microsoft content viewer, and the page does not show. Any ideas on how to view this site using firefox. It works on IE.

I am participating in an online class whose website uses Microsoft Content Viewer to view the class content. The browser opens a new page, but nothing is there. At the top of the tab it says Microsoft Content Viewer, and nothing else. Can anyone tell me how to view my course using Firefox? I would prefer not to use IE, but it works there.

When originally creating the pdf, you would need to choose another pdf conversion setting. In Word if you use the pdf menu, change your settings there: Adobe PDF > Change Conversion Settings. I would use High Quality Print instead. If you use the File > Print method, click the Properties button next to the Adobe PDF printer selection.
For your already created form, you can change the file so your users will not encounter issues. In Acrobat 9, which hopefully is similar in process to 8: Advanced > Preflight > Profile tab > PDF/A compliance > Remove PDF/A information.(You'll have to unsecure your form first).
