How to view technical name of a planning function in IP?

Hi,
I have 2 aggregation levels created with 2 planning functions by someone else.
I want to view technical name of that planning function so that I can include it in my WAD template.
Please provide the info.

Hi Rashmi,
In the Planning functions tab you click on the button right side of the window.
Then you will get a window where you can select the columns to display. Pull the technical name window to display columns.
Then you can see the technical name of that planning function.

To search on a field from table it's coming help -F1 then technical details -F9
If you double click on the field table-field you are directy to the view
If u know table i would rather use SE16 or SE16N depending on r release.
CEKKO is indeed a structure. EKKO is the table.

How to get technical name (ID) of expert routine

how I can get the technical name (ID) of an expert routine inside my transformation? I have to verify if the expert routine is in an old transport order.

Hi,
Just copy the techical name of transformation in which you have written the expert routine.
Then go to se11 enter table name as RSTRAN and put the technical name of transformation.
This will provide you the technical name of all the routimes written in transformation.

There you can find the commands that u can use in eCATT editor for scripts development. Each command is meant for one particular use.
I that we user TDC, SAPGUI,ABAP..ENDABAP.....and soon very often in ecatt scripts development.

How to indicate a message by a planning function type in an ABAP-OO-Class

Hello,
I integrated a message with following statement " MESSAGE i003(upf1) WITH v1 v2." in an ABAP-OO-Class, which is used by a Planning Function Type. The function type works but it´s not indecated after executing the Planning Sequence, neither from web template nor in the planning modeller.
Does anybody know this problem/behavior?

how about this:
data: l_dummy type char100.
MESSAGE i003(upf1) WITH v1 v2 into l_dummy.
i_r_msg->add_msg( ).
You do not need to take special care about the variables. Just raise the message as you want it to be raised. The only thing you need to do is to raise the message into a string (..into l_dummy). The interface IF_RSPLFA_MSG and the implemetation of add_msg is going to read the standard message variables (SY-MSGNO, SY-MSGID, SY-MSGTY, MSGV1 ...). You just need to throw the message
and call i_r_msg->add_msg( ) e.g. in the execute method of your customer planning function.
Please give it a try and take a look at it in the debugger.

How to suppress Messages in WAD, when planning functions executed

Hi IP and WAD Gurus,
I would like to know , how to suppress messages when planning functions is executed using Web template , so if a select suppress messages option in the template , it won't even let error messages displayed.
Please let me know how it can be done. where only Error messages should be displayed by suppressing standard messages

My Sent mail box on my hard drive shows my name rather than the recipient name. How do I change the settings to view the recipient name rather than mine (which is on all of them, of course)?

How to view field name for a field in Oracle form?

I was told you can do this but I forgot how.
If you want to build a report, but don't know what the field name is in Oracle, you can open up the Oracle form and find the screen with that field name and do a trick that tells you the Oracle field name. Any help?

Once I've added an mp3 attachment to a message I'm composing, I cannot see the filename of the attachment.

How to view marker names in the Markers pane?

If I add markers to a source clip and enter a name, then when I open the Markers panel, I only see Comments listed, not Names? Why?

Martin, I've requested this as a feature myself just now. Am commenting here to help illuistrate to Adobe what I need... and also see if anyone has a workflow improvement for me.
I'm hoping to not just have an on-screen easy-to-read list of marker names for a sequence, but also be able to copy/paste the names (and timecodes) in case I need to create a master-list somewhere.
I do need to BOTH be able to hover-and-read in a sequence and also quickly read/search a list.

Hi Amit,
insert your planning function as a command in WAD ("EXEC_PLANNING_FUNCTION"). In the screen where you enter the technical name of your planning function you can also insert Data Bindings. There you can do a selection binding for a special characteristic or a variable value. If you want to assign a static (fix) value to a variable for example you can do a variable binding (technical name of variable/variable type "Variable Input String"/Variable Input String: set the required value).
The same thing can be done executing planning sequences within WAD.

Perhaps this question will seem dumb, but here goes : I have two kernels installed :

It does not matter whether I change the default kernel line in /boot/grub/menu.lst : I can set it to “ 0 ” or “ 2 ” and reboot, and the output of “ uname -a ” will always be exactly the same as above ; no mention of *ck-kx even though I know it is running.
I searched the web on how to view the name of the running kernel, all results I found said to use uname, so is there another command I am missing here ? Or is it normal that both my kernels yield the same uname output ?
Just curious, because I was playing around with kexec, and when doing “ fake ” reboots, I was alternating between the normal ARCH-kernel and the ck-kx*kernel, and I wanted to be sure that it actually worked, so I checked everytime with uname, and since I saw no difference in the outputs, I assumed kexec wasn’t working like it should, so I did a “ real ” reboot, but same uname outputs… So I must be missing something…
Here are the kexec commands I used, just to be sure I am doing this properly :
[ruben@arch ~]$ sudo kexec -l --append="`cat /proc/cmdline`" --initrd=/boot/initramfs-linux-ck.img /boot/vmlinuz-linux-ck
[ruben@arch ~]$ sudo init 6
and :

Deriving Planning Folder Technical Name From User-Exit

Dear Colleagues,
For those of you who know ABAP, do you know if it is possible to determine the technical name of a planning folder from within a user-exit (i.e. planning function that has been executed from within a planning folder)?
Customer states: They would like to use a Planning Folder, and invoke a planning function of type user-exit (i.e. via button in folder), which will execute an ABAP that has a case statement for conditional execution of steps, based upon the technical name of the planning folder that invoked the call.
