How to voice text

I have turned on the auto voice text, how do I use it, should a mircophone appear on keyboard or something?

There is no "auto voice text". You won't see the microphone, or be able to use Siri to create and send text messages by voice until you buy an iPhone 4S or higher.
Tha's not a feature of the iPhone 3G.

I did not do anything to mine except update. You can try doing a reset on the phone. It will not affect data. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. Make sure you also have iMessage activated and data turned on. Remember that iMessage requires both users to have an active internet connection.

Voice text slow; how to improve

I have a 4s and the voice text is becoming very slow over time. I have only had the phone less than 6 months

Ok, this seems to be the 2nd post about your phone being slow. try this, double tap the home button then hold an app down, then hit the minus buttons to close all athe apps out. also try restarting the phone (power off wait 10 sec. then turn it back on) That should speed it back up.

Can't figure out how to "talk text". Any ideas?

I can't figure out how to "talk text". I thought it might be in settings under "voice over", so I turned that on. Nope. Now I can't turn voice over off and it's annoying listening to her tell me what I wrote or what she thinks I might want to say. Any help in either subject appreciated.

Turn VoiceOver of in Accessibility. Settings>General>Accessibility>Voice Over>Off. If you have Siri activated, invoke Siri and say, "Turn off VoiceOver".
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "talk text" If you mean "Tap to talk", that feature will only appear in iMessages, not SMS messages.

When I send a voice text the recipient receives the same voice text multiple times

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and when I send other iPhone users a voice text they received multiple copies of the same voice text in a row. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to correct it?

From the Mail menu bar, select
Mail ▹ Preferences... ▹ Accounts ▹ Mailbox Behaviors
and uncheck the box marked
Store draft messages on the server

Who is your carrier?
Are you indeed using the iphone 4s?
have you attempted using the speech to text feature with wifi, or only using cellular data?
How long has this problem been present? Was it working any time before?

I am having tremendous difficulty sending simple voice text messages, or typed text messages to non I-phone users. Picture text messages will not send at all and can only be sent to other i-phone users. Is anyone else haing this problem ?? Big concern

Well this is stupid - I wrote the question above and now it is telling me the message is blank - how dumb is this.

Simple text messages are sporadic and seem to be impacted by whether I incluse a subject or not - picture texts will not go at all.
Anyone else having this problem ???

It's a corporate phone so will need to check. Will not send text messages to non I-phones if they contain a "subject" or a picture. Wierd - regular voice or typed text messages are fine.

Voice texting ... without SIRI

How do I enable voice texting from my iPhone keyboard? Until yesterday the was a mic symbol, but no there isn't.

I just bought my iPhone 6 Plus on December 27. Starting today for some reason, I cannot send group texts (iMessages or SMS texts) or voice texts. Please advise.

This doesn't really help me as much; I know how to send texts, and I am able to do so to individuals. It's just that I can't get group texts to go through. I have service and am sending to both iPhone users and non-iPhone users. Interestingly enough, a moment ago a particularly long text I tried to send to an individual non-iPhone user was not delivered. Does anyone know if there is some lingering issue with messaging on the iPhone 6 Plus? I have the latest iOS software update.

Sms requires the voice channel of the cellular network.
Ipads only connect to the data channel.
Imessage on Ipads only works with ios devices or Macs.
If you wish to send sms messages, you will need an app from the app store.

How to wrap text around a table

I'm new to Pages. The first thing I tried to do was play with tables, because they are the biggest headache in Microsoft Word. However, I ran into a problem right away--I cannot figure out how to wrap text tightly around a table so that the table is surrounded by text on all four sides.
Does anyone know how to do this? Seems very basic. There is even a button that shows what I want (Text Wrap drop-down --> Around), but when I click on it, nothing happens.

I can recreate the appearance with five hard returns after the first paragraph, or instead, changing the After Paragraph spacing to 116 pt. Did this with Baskerville Regular 12 pt with line spacing set at 1. Same Arrange settings as shown by OP.

does anyone know what is the character encoding in pdf file, when i use an input stream to read the file it gives encrypted characters not the original text in the file.
is there any procedures i should do while reading a pdf file,
