How to watch iPhone HD movies on my TV?

There is now point in having a HD-video cam if you can`t juse it other than post it to youtube.
In wich format shall I export the vids from iMovie to burn it on to a DVD for playing on a blueray?
My Sony AVCHD cam does this very well.

How to watch iTunes rental movie on HDTV and keep MBP display off

I would like to watch a movie on my flat screen TV. I rented the movie from the iTunes movie store, and I am attaching my MBP to the TV via the HDMI port on the TV and the sound cable to the RCA jacks.
My understanding is that I have to use the F7 key to switch to mirror the display, but then I would like to make the MBP screen go black.
I plan to try to watch using the front row feature and the MBP remote.
Can this be done, and if so, how?

My desktop was stolen a few weeks ago and I am left with this brand new hp thing.When I put itunes on and try to watch a movie or tv show I get a loud humming and after a while I can't take it anymore I turn it all off.I had actually given up and was ready to trade my ipad,ipods,and,itunes to anyone who can give me my movies and shows so I can actually watch them.Nero will stream my songs but not video and my ps3 will not see my istuff when I plug it in. Sony has gotten to be the same thing if I go anywhere on a trip I need to take a sony phone to play playstation store movies and an ipod or ipad to watch itunes stuff.
Is there any other way to see stuff I own? If so please tell me because it seems that I have more trouble watching stuff I own than the pirates on the internet and I would think that google is where I should be going because it will play anywhere on about anything.I hope I am just a dumb old man who doesn't know how to work this stuff and someone can tell me what I can do so I can watch my movies I paid for. any help would be great.

IPhone 4S movies won´t play in iphoto

Here is the problem:
I record a movie with my iphone 4S. No problems there, I can watch them on the phone. I tranfer them to iphoto 11 (v9.2.2) and they wont play. I hear the audio but I see a frozen screen.
Now I drag the movies to my desktop and they play perfectly with quicktime.
(when I transfer movies from my flip camera, they play in iphoto with no issues.)
Any idea what to do to be able to watch iphone 4 movies in iphoto?

There is no support for WMV files for the iPhone. Now a player could be written I guess that can play them but that player would be limited to it's own data (eg: cannot be spawned from email message since no app can work as a plug in as part of the rules of the SDK).

You should certainly be able to add content by reference to itunes from such a disk (even before the update) - so long as itunes knows the location of the file (set Preferences not to copy to local library when adding the media) it will stream it to AppleTV if the disk is available.
I hope you're right, but I'd be surprised if current Extremes can be upgarded to provide a full Home Sharing service - marvellous if they can but I'd be surprised as i've long said we need an Apple media server either based on TC or AE to do this kind of thing.

is it a movie you have shot yourself or is it one you have downloaded?
if it's a download then you need to uninstall via iTunes, just uncheck the movie and then sync,
if it is one you have shot yourself then :
Tap select top right: tap the video you want to delete: tap the bin.
