Hi I use win Vista and I just bought a new iphone. Everything works well. Only one question is : how to watch .avi video in iphone. I download a lot of video in that format but cannot add them into intunes, therefore cannot sync into iphone. I search the web and know the problem is quickplayer doesn't support this video format. Thanks for you help in advance.The iPhone cannot play AVI videos. You'll need to convert them before you can load and play them on your iPhone. If you search the Using iTunes for Windows forum for "video convert", you'll find a lot of threads on this subject already.

stevejobsfan is correct; iwork for ios is free only for new purchases of new ios devices. A good work around (if you have wifi connectivity) is going to the icloud website on your ipad, and working on your document.
A word of caution (the real reason I am responding to your post). If you do a lot of 'formatting' of a document on iwork for mac, and then save it in icloud; you will probably loose most of the formatting you have done (this will be true if you oppen the document in iwork for ios; also) It happened to me, and I did not duplicate the document before saving it to icloud; I lost at least an hours worth of work. -

If you are talking about watching something that you have previously purchased but is no longer in your iTunes Library for whatever reason, you should be able to redownload it from the iTunes Store in most instances. This does not have an HDMI port but does have:-
1) S-Video I/P,
2) Video I/P,
3) Audio Input (Left & Right)
4) Audio In jack (for VGA and DVI source)
5) DVI input

The Apple TV doesn't officially support a DVI connection, however you may be able to get it to work. You will first need to check that your TV supports either 720p or 1080p as well as HDCP. If you are able to get the video working over the DVI connection, you may also require a DAC in order to connect with Apple TV's optical audio output to the TVs audio imput.
You may well wish to make sure that the DVI connection works before spending any money on a DAC.. -

Why I can't watch any video on Apple official website? Everytime I open it it's only a blank frame. I have already downloaded QuickTime several times, it's a windows8.1 PC.
I am new to Ubuntu, but I see videos ok. Firefox may play some natively but I also have FlashPlayer installed. IIRC FlashPlayer is not on the original Ubuntu 11.10 CD but has to be installed as a separate Firefox plugin. From your system information aside it appears you do already have FlashPlayer installed.
* Have you got FlashPlayer enabled currently ?
* I Note you have [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DivX Div X] installed, which is not something I know about, but could that be interfering with some videos, have you tried disabling Div X.

When viewing iphone videos on Apple TV via iTunes the picture remains in portrait mode. Is there a way of uisng the whole screen

Of course it is a flaw that the Apple TV can't do something that every iPhone, iPad, and every competitor viewing device can do.
But that's not the point.
Is there a workaround here? The bottom line is that I have videos in portrait that I *need* to view in landscape on my tv. I'm sure many others are in the same boat. Is there a simple app that allows videos to be rotated then saved as new videos? -

Access in AIM 5.9 for this is in the My AIM menu at the top of the Buddy list and then Options
To Start
You should now be able to chat to each other.
If each of you has a camera it can be full Video , as described in the Glossary at the top.
To start from the Mac end, select (highlight) your Buddy with one click. His camera icon should be dark. Click on the icon near his name or the one at the bottom of the Buddy List. (You do not have to start a text chat).
To start from the PC end you need to start a text chat, then select the Video icon at the bottom of the chat window.
If one of you has a camera and the other has a Mic then you will be able to chat One Way but have sound will be both ways.

AIM 6.5 and 6.8 On Vista and XP
AIM 5.9 or earlier can not be installed on Vista.
AIM 6.5 and 6.8 use a new video codec with a description of "Real Time IM"

I woud like to watch my videos on my Ipad with out loading it on to the Ipad. I can plug my camera directly into my tv and watch, I would like to do the same with my Ipad.
Import the videos into iTunes on your computer and use Home Sharing to stream the videos to the iPad. These should get you started.
