How to write SDO_GEOMETRY using PreparedStatements ?

Hi there,
I use JDBC and JDK 1.3+
Currently I'm writing geometries into Spatial by using Strings and
I meet some limitations for very huge geometries.
That's why I need to use PreparedStatements and parameters to get
rid of this limitation.
My question is how can I write Object types by using JDBC. All
the sample codes I found use oracle.sql and oracle.jdbc packages.
My problem is that my code can be used by people that may not
have an Oracle jdbc driver like "thin" for instance.

I have a PL/SQL package that contains several functions. One of them does selection and filtering of spatial features based on a user's location and preferences. For this purpose a web-application runs this function.
I would like this function to do the following:
1. the function is called, user parameters are passed in
2. a call to a java-stored-procedure is made. This java procedure creates a polygon based on the user's location and preferences.
3. the polygon is returned to the PL/SQL function
4. the funtion uses the returned polygon to query spatial features that intersect, etc.
I can do the call to the java-stored-procedure but where I get stuck is how to get the polygon from java to pl/sql. I can return a String or a number from java but how can I return the polygon (e.g., STRUCT, java object)?
The current solution uses a work-around by storing the polygon in a temporary table. I would like to change this because once the function has run, the polygon is not needed anymore so I would like to do without having to store the polygon.

You cannot use a stylus with the built-in mail and notes apps. You would need third-party apps that support handwriting, and for mail at least an app that has handwriting recognition built in. My Yahoo email account worked just fine on my iPhone 4S for the last 2 months. Then this morning I started receiving the apple.imap.mail,yahoo error. I tried all of the steps above in solving the yahoo email issue including numerous hard re-sets and deletions of my yahoo account settings without any success. So I gave up trying to use the default Yahoo setup option. I added my Yahoo account back as an "other" type email account and then had the option to choose to set it up as a "POP" account instead of an IMAP type. I then just used the server settings recommended from Yahoo Help for a Yahoo Plus Email POP (or just google yahoo plus email pop settings). This works and I am back in business.
I'm not sure if this will work for yahoo mail classic accounts.
Frustrating that this issue seems to have been going on for quite awhile and Apple still as not made any acknowledgement of this issue or proposed a fix for those of us that can not resolve the issue with a reset.

I don't know what your problem is but that's almost certainly the wrong question to ask about it. Java (including iText) uses only Unicode characters. (You may consider some of them to be "special" if you like but Unicode doesn't.) And when it does that, they aren't encoded in UTF-8 or any other encoding.
So can you describe your problem? That question doesn't make sense.

parse XML and get the data you need and just insert into the DB table
there are many tutorials showing how to parse xml file inside abap mapping
so just do a little search on sdn

I have got a problem in building a web installer using IzPack.I am getting this exception,when I am compiling my install.xml using a compile tool provided by IzPack soft.Eventhough I have not mentioned "packsinfo.xml" in my Xml installation file.
Fatal error :
null\packsinfo.xml (The system cannot find the path specified)
java.io.FileNotFoundException: null\packsinfo.xml (The system cannot find the path specified)
What went wrong??
