Go to page you want to add item to and press and hold, select widgets from list and scroll and select Beautiful Home and this will give you the clock on thay page... I struggled with this one as well, as i'm finishing up a PhD thesis and word counts are incredibly important. Through trial and error i found out that words like 'e.g.' and 'i.e.' count as two words and an ampersand (&) doesn't count at all. That being said, i didn't like the fact that the word count always included footnotes and i was dismayed that i couldn't get an accurate count of words in the main body of my text. That all disappeared yesterday when, by chance, while i was copying a completed chapter and pasting it into my main document, i discovered that Pages can indeed give you an accurate word count excluding the footnotes! Here's all you need to do:
1. In pages 5.2, make sure that the Word Count function is first enabled by selecting View --> Show Word Count from the Pages Menu Bar. (If it's already enabled, it will read View --> Hide Word Count, so if that's what it says, then no need to do anything.)
2. Once enabled, check the Word count that's currently showing at the bottom of the page. That's the word count including your footnotes.
2. Now, place your cursor anywhere within the current document, then hit command+A (for Select All).
3. Viola! Your word count now shows the actual number of words within the body of the text only, excluding footnotes!

You can right click one tab and choose "Close Other Tabs" to close most of them.
Set the pref browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab to false on the about:config page to prevent closing the last tab from closing the browser and make a close button appear if only one tab is open.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
You can use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a pref more easily.

I bought several ringtones on my iPad because its a lot faster and I thought it would automatically sync to my iPhone like all my songs. Transfer your purchases to your computer, as you should on a regular basis anyway. Sync the other device with the updated iTunes library.

As you have discovered, ringtones can only be downloaded once so there is no other way to do it.

@How can I bypass the old voicemails and get the new ones first. I could do that on my office smartphones but my personal one starts with the old messages first. Verizon techs say that is the way the system is set up. I do not think that is the case but an attempt to get me to buy the visual voicemail system.

I can't really answer your question about the stock voicemail, however, I can tell you a free visual voicemail that work well. I use Google Voice for my voicemail. It definitely lets you choose the order in which you can listen to your voicemails. It will also give the transcript of your voicemail message (not always very accurate). The Verizon VVM does not do that. I tried the VVM for about 5 minutes before I switched to the Google Voice app. You simple download the app on your device and follow the instructions for set up. You do need to choose a phone number and forward your unanswered calls. If you choose to go with Google you will also have the ability too leave personal messages for your contacts, it will also allow you to screen your call if you give people your Google number instead of your regular cell number.

Not sure if you got this sorted or not, but for me the numbers clear as soon as I have clicked the number and then move away to a different screen again. Maybe make sure there isn't a "new" message hiding at the bottom of the list, not sure if that makes a difference but maybe you actually have to bring it into view before it counts as being seen.
