  • How to Zoom in and Out on PDF files in Safari?

Safari help is not helpful since it gives inaccurate information on how to Zoom in and Out on a PDF file that has opened in Safari. The help says to control click the page and choose the zooming level you desire. However control clicking the PDF file in Safari brings up a save page box. I tried some of the other keys with clicking and they did not work. Thanks in advance to those who helped me save a PDF file to the desktop so I can view in Preview.- But often I just need to be able to zoom in to read the tiny text that is displayed.

Thanks for getting back to me-
the website I am trying to zoom into a PDF on is:
    http://www.beedocuments.com/software/Timeline/screenshots.html
I click on one of the screenshots- it loads into a safari window.
When I control key click on the image- a pop up menu comes up asking me to save the image to deskotp- add it my image library and 2 other save options. No zoom in or Zoom out. I only have an apple pro mouse and my track pad- so right clicking isn't an option.

  • How to zoom in and out on the effects timeline on premiere cc?

I can zoom out on the project timeline with alt+mouse wheel but I can figure out how to do it on the effects panel and the project zoom doesn't seem to effect it.

You need to Un Pin the clip first.
Click on the Panel Menu in the Effect Controls and uncheck Pin to Clip.

  • How do I zoom in and out on a clip using final cut pro 6?

I have searched around and I haven't found anything about how to zoom in and out on non-still video. I am sure there is some simple explanation as of how to do this but I can't seem to find it. If you guys could help me out that would be great. Thanks.

Double click the clip in the Timeline, to place it in the viewer.
In the Viewer window click the Motion tab. Adjust the "Scale" control and set keyframes as needed.

  • When using firefox, how do i zoom in and out on a page?

example: when i use internet explorer i just click on the tool tab if i need to zoom in or out. however, with firefox, i cannot figure how do zoom in and out on a page?
    thank you,
    kim

I don't think Firefox has a slider to do that but it uses shortcuts.
'''CTRL + + (plus sign)''' is to zoom in<br>
    '''CTRL + - (minus sign/dash)''' is to zoom out<br>
'''CTRL + 0 (zero)''' resets the percentage to default (100%)

  • Zoom in and out on stage?

    Hello All,
I am creating an interactive map in Edge Animate and was wondering how to zoom in and out on the stage.
In other words...I have an image that fills the page but everything looks very small.
I need to have zoom in and out buttons for users.
It's also OK if the mouse scroll zooms the image, or some other option...I just need to be able to zoom in and out somehow!
To be clear....I am NOT looking to have it scale to the width of the browser. I need the image itself to be able to zoom in and out.
    Anybody have any ideas?
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
    Jason

Hi Redesign. Thanks so much for your recommendation
I actually found and purchased a jQuery zoom: http://vectorflower.com/preview/smooth_zoom/sample5.html
Sample 5 is pretty much exactly what I was looking for.
BUT (and there's always a but isn't there?)...I can't for the life of me figure out how to get this into my Edge Animate project.
This is the project I am working on: Untitled
I'm just starting on it, but you can roll over "The Westin" in the upper left corner and see what I started to do. Just a simple rollover with a box and text. I will be adding a bunch more to this map.
I am trying to get the entire thing to zoom in, and I'm not sure if it's possible with the jQuery zoom I bought.
    The jQuery zoom instructions say:
    1. First set ID attribute for the image in your web page. For example:
    <img id="yourImageID" src="your_image.jpg" />
...but I am adding all those rollovers in Edge Animate and it is going to be a "symbol"...not an "image".
I'm not sure how to make it work for a symbol or if it's even possible.

  • The photos imported are zooming in and out and are out and in focus-how to resolve this?

    Hi all,
I just started creating a short film which will consist of photos and voice over. After importing the photos, each of them is being zoomed in and out and is once slightly blurry and once in focus- none of the effects are on and I am a bit stuck. Does anyone know how to get rid of this?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

The effect you are seeing is known as the Ken Burns effect, which shows panning and zooming on the images. This is iMovie's default setting for still photos. To change this setting, go to iMovie's Menu and select File>Project Properties. In the window that opens, for the item "Initial Photo Placement" choose Fit in Frame (click on the disclosure arrows). The other options are Crop and Ken Burns. You will need to do this for each Project that you start - change the setting before dragging photos to the Project.
For your current project you will also need to change the setting for each image already inserted, given that they have already been included in the project. To do this on an image, there are several options. One way is to click on the image (clip) then press the C key on the keyboard. In the viewer you will see selections for Fit, Crop and Ken Burns - select Fit, then click on Done. Now the photo will remain stationary, with no pan or zoom.
Another method is to click on the small gear icon at the left corner of the clip, then select Cropping, Ken Burns and Rotation from the pop-up menu. Again, the various selections will appear in the Viewer. Also, you can click on the Crop tool in the centre toolbar (directly to the right of the microphone icon).
To change the setting for a number of photos (rather than doing them individually), select them by clicking on the first photo then clicking on the last one while holding down the Shift key - that's assuming they are all grouped together (contiguous). If not grouped, then click on each one while holding down the Command key. Once all clips have been selected (highlighted with a yellow border), you can make your selections as to Fit, Crop and Ken Burns, as described earlier. All highlighted photos will then have their setting changed. Don't forget to click on Done after changing the setting!

  • How do I zoom in and out in a photo

I am complete new to using a MAC and Iphoto. Can I zoom in and out of a photo to do close up editing?
Is Iphoto the only program I need to edit and retouch photos? If not, can someone recommend a simple and inexpensive program?

I find the zoom slide quite easily when using the computer screen on my Macbook. However, when I project the images onto a screen the slide for some reason disappears. Any ideas?
Welcome to Mac. The iPhoto tutorial is a good place
    to start:
    http://www.apple.com/ilife/tutorials/iphoto/
Yes, you can zoom in. At the bottom of the iPhoto
window is an icon that looks like a box with arrows
pointing out. Select a photo and click that icon to
enter the Full Screen Edit mode. At the bottom of
that window, rt. of center, is a size slider which
will zoom your photo. To see the edit tools, move
your curser to the bottom of the window. Those tools
will show you what kind of edits you can do with
iPhoto. To keep the tools or thumbnails in view, go
to View > Show toolbar or Show thumbnails.
I use iPhoto in combination with PhotoShop Elements
    4. It is relatively inexpensive, at around $60 - $80.
Many of its functions are simple and easy to use, but
with some study and practice you'll find it is as
complex and powerful as you need it to be. You can
    read about it here:

how do i zoom in and out while i am videoing

There is no built-in zoom function for video.
So, you can either quickly run closer to the subject to zoom in, and quickly run back to zoom out, or use an alternative video capture app, such as:
