Hi,
How Transportation of Adhoc Query is done through RSAQR3TR report.i want to transport a new usergroup, new infoset and a query from Develpment to Quality and Production.
I have gone through the documentation of the RSAQR3TR report and as well as the SAP library material, but still i am confused.

I have created an adhoc Query , however after few days there was a requirement to remove some fields and change the length of some fields . Now the Adhoc query showing as to adjust , however when iam trying to adjust nothing is happening. Could any one let me know how to adjust with the table strucutre in the adhoc query.

Yes i have adjusted the database from se11 itself by going into utlity > adjust database . However i can still see the
adhoc query -> infoset asking me when iam trying to go in change mode saying the database table has been changed do you want to adjust .
I have adjusted by going to more functions still there is no change. Please let me know what exactly i have to do.

Transport of Adhoc query

Hi ,
I have created one query in Golbal area under user group /SAPQUERY/H2 . but I am unable to transport it . I tried to copy query from global area to standard area report RSAQR3TR but it is not happening , giving warning user group /SAPQUERY/H2 not created .
Please help .

Hello Good year,
Have you attached the objects to a transportable package?
When you created the transport request, did you make a note of the request number, did the system give any errors or messages while writing the object to the request?
If you do know the request number, goto SE10, and then press F5 and fill your request number and press enter, and then you should be able to see your request.

Regarding HR Adhoc Query

I came across a situation in the course of my job that certain people are able to execute S_PH0_48000513 (HR Adhoc Query) without being added to the User Group. This was surprising.
Can any of you tell me if this is because what security settings ? I am not sure if this could be some settings with auth object S_QUERY .
Acccording to the http://www.insightcp.com/res_15.htm it should not work if they are not added to any uset group. But in reality it is otherwise.
Any thoughts on this , also if anyone can explain how security in Adhoc Query works , that would also be wonderful

Most pobably these users are assigned with a role wherein they are assigned with the value S_PH0_48000513 under the auth object s_tcode or with the authorization object s_querry.
Check this.
Go to tcode S_BCE_68001397.
In the Authorization tab enter value S_TCODE
click ENTRY VALUES button
In the next screen in the values field enter S_PH0_48000513
and execute.
It will show you which users are able to execute the said tcode
Similarly check which users/roles are assigned with the auth object s_querry.
In the roles assigned to the said users check if the r assigned with profile sap_all or sap_new profile.
Or in the roles assigned to them the auth object S-Tcode containf the value S_PH0_48000513 or * OR
if there is an authorization object s_querry.
Note * means he is authorised to all tcodes.
If the auth object s_querry exists make it inactive.
A detailed analysis of the roles can give the way to regulate .
If resolved dont forget to award few points.

Hi,
You can remove it by following ways
Go to SPRO
Then follow following path
Integration with Other mySAP.com Components -> Business Packages / Functional Packages -> Manager Self-Service (mySAP ERP) -> Reporting -> Set Up LaunchPad
and execute
then you can get the list of the REports
over there you can see "Birthday List" Report and Deactivate it
Please execute this steps before the executing the steps i have mentioned above, this will activate the reports used for MSS. Then gofor moving the unwanted reports unactive folder. Just what you have to do it select the unwanted report and move it down to the inactive folder.
1. In the SAP HCM System choose:
SAP Easy Access Menu
Transaction SE38
2. In the ABAP Editor: Initial Screen enter the Program FPB_LP_WRITE_ENTRIES and choose Execute.
3. In the Report FPB_LP_WRITE_ENTRIES screen select the MSS Reporting and MSS with Folders options and deselect the checkbox Test Run.
4. Choose Execute. The sample entries are entered in the Report Launchpad in the portal.
5. Log on to the portal with User manager1 and check if the sample entries are displayed.
6. In the ECC system leave the transaction and go back to the SAP Easy Access Menu.
7. Enter transaction PWPC_CONV_MDT_TO_LPA in the Command field.
8. In the Report to convert MDT table entries to LPA table entries screen, enter the MDT Scenario RPT0 and deselect the Test run checkbox.
9. Choose Execute. The list in the next screen shows the reports which have been added to the Report Launchpad.
Do not forget to select MSS with Folders for the FPB_LP_WRITE_ENTRIES report. Otherwise you may get short dumps while editing the report launchpad, because the reports coming from the Manageru2019s Desktop do not have folders.

Hello, Somashree!
Maybe it will be useful for you: for exporting query to another client it's very simple using "Download" option in the report RSAQR3TR. It will be downloaded (as file) on your local machine.
To upload the query into another client using report RSAQR3TR you just need to select "Upload" option -> select saved file and press F8.

Print Credit for returns Document through My report

Hi,
I have a credit note / debit note print zreport. This report is picking data from BKPF, BSEG tables. Also report are using logical data
DD - Customer Debit Note number like 500368 and DG - Customer Credit Note Number like 100506, that is printing through my report.
But user wants data for Credit for returns - RE & Warranty credit note - ZWCN, which is coming from VBRK table. Document number is like 90010446.
How can i print these number's through my report.
Note: - Logical Database Name : - BRF.. because it is standard, then how can i change in it.

I'd like to know how to transport the BW query's variable to BO 's webi . today ,I created a sap customer varible in my bw system to get the max calmonth in the active table.The varible in the BW side run's well ,but I use this query to build a new univers ,and created a new webi report base on this univers ,but the question is the webi report can't get the varible's value I wann to know how to transport the bw varible value to BO webi report

I have changed my variaable in my bw query ,I found if you use SAP default variable it is ok in BO side . So I get a guidline by SAP default variable ,I changed my customer variable in variables edite ,don't use 'ready for input' .And then the variable can be useful in BO side .

Adhoc Query Issue - How to restrict /SAPQUERY/H2 access

Hi Experts,
I have created two User Groups HR_1 (assigned to infosets for Time data) and HR_2 (assigned to Infosets for Payroll data). Also, I want to assign the HR_1 to a user Time_admin and HR_2 to Payroll_Admin, so that Payroll admin do not have access to Time data and vice versa.
Now I can restrict the access but when I execute the Adhoc query for the user, I can see the User group that I have assigned with a default user
group /SAPQUERY/H2, which has access to all data.
My question is, how can I restrict the access for the /SAPQUERY/H2 for the users so that the users have only access to their user groups i.e.,
Time_admin to HR_1 only and Payroll_admin to HR_2 only.

I was expecting some Answer but was unfortunate enough.
I have found a solution and will mention it for those who face this issue in future.
Configuration in “The Global Area (Cross Client)”, has some limitations
1)      1) Restricting the access via T-Code S_PH0_48000510 (Ad-hoc Query) is difficult as this t-code S_PH0_48000510 uses the user group /SAPQUERY/H2 to which an Infoset is assigned /SAPQUERY/HR_ADM. This infoset has access to all the master data and is standard one (default).
2)      Also, this is available in “The Global Area (Cross Client)”, due to which there will be access to all HR master data.
Configuration in “Standard Area, i.e., Client Specific”
1)      With this approach, we will do the same configurations in “Standard Area (Client Specific)” i.e.,
I.            Create User groups (ZHR_1 and ZHR_2)
II.            Create Infosets (X1 for time management Infotypes and X2 for PM and PA Infotypes)
III.            Assign User Groups to Infosets (X1 to ZHR_1 and X2 to ZHR_2)
IV.            Assign Users to User Groups (As per the requirement)
2)      Additionally, Admin need to do two things
I.            For the Users Set Parameters via SU3 as:
Parameters for Users for Time Data
Parameter ID
Parameter Value
Description
AQB
ZHR_1
ABAP Query: User group
AQS
X1
SAP Query: Infoset
AQW
Standard
ABAP Query: Query area
Parameters for Users for OM/PA data

II.            Provide access to T-Code S_PH0_48000513 (also calls Adhoc Query but this t-code will respect the parameters set by us in SU3).
III.            As a result of this approach, the Users on executing the T-Code S_PH0_48000513 will be directly moved to the Adhoc query screen with their authorized access.
NOTE:
these changes cannot be transported via Transport.

We have requirement for retrofitting the changes done in one Server to other, in the process the Changes in New server should not be overwritten.Currently for Adhoc queries - we're downloading from one server- loading to the New server.
Is there any way to track the changes in Adhoc query to avoid overwriting the changes.

Hi,
Goto RSA1 and then Transport Connection -> In SAP Transports select Object Types-> Query Elements -> Then select Query->Give Technical name of the query and then select for transfer. In the right side you can choose the components which you wanted to transport.

I am trying to export a list of bank account into excel through Adhoc query, when I go to List >> Export >> Spreadsheet, there is only Xml format for me to choose. However, my colleague has the option to choose excel. Is this Windows setting or SAP setting?
