How use Adobe VST plugins in other programs?

Hi all...
Adobe Audiotion 3 comes with very good VST plugins, but when I try to add these VST plugins in other programs(like Sonar 7, or Pro Tools)the VST plugins arent recognized. Is there a way to use these plugins? Whose dlls or ddl folders are they stored?

OK kids, gather 'round and get cozy for a little story. Once upon a time, papa MC was working with some other friends and musicians on a "charity job," scoring a symphonic score at a major studio recording sound stage. When it came time to finish the final mix, there were some problems in the performance. After all, this was a charity job, meaning that the work was done at a low demand time, which was limited, thus preventing enough retakes from having been recorded.
What amazed papa MC was that one of the area's finest ProTools editors couldn't fix the messups. Turns out that on scoring and mix stages they don't buy plugins for ProTools and that restorative editing is not possible there. So, the tracks were exported and sent home with me. I worked on the edits, and even some later changes requested by the client, and handily completed everything using Audition alone.
There you have it, ladies and gentlemen: once again, AA3 proves itself to be the most complete and versatile tool for the price in existence. Not to mention that it's fun to use.

In order for Flash Player to be installed or updated, any programs that use Flash Player must be closed. This includes Internet Explorer or other browsers, instant messengers, Skype, etc.
These programs may be running in the background, not as visible windows, but need to be closed anyway.
To close such programs use the Windows Task Manager. To start Task Manager, take any of the following actions:
Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, and then click Task Manager.

How to capture graphical outputs from other programs

Does anyone know how we capture the graphical outputs from the other programs and show them
on the swing?
I'd like to use a java program to run gnuplot, capture the outputs, and show them using swing.

Depends on what you mean by "graphic outputs".
Taking a quick glance at the gnuplot homepage, it looks as if you can output to PNG files, so just run the app, and load the png file.

PDF Searching using Adobe Acrobat Plugin Find Function in Safari

I currently incorporate the Adobe Acrobat Pro (9.1.2) plugin for viewing PDF files. I like using Safari for viewing PDFs within a web browser, but I find Safari's built-in Find function (open apple-F) inferior to Acrobat's ability to search for text within the PDF, as it never finds the words that I search for.
My question is: Is there an efficient built-in shortcut within Safari to search text within a PDF using Adobe Acrobat's plugin Find function? If not, is there a relatively easy, keyboard-based shortcut that could be made to direct the Find function to the Adobe Acrobat plugin Find function within Safari?

Figured it out. It had nothing to do with the software levels of Safari or Adobe Acrobat. Here's the fix:
Open Finder/Applications
Search "Internet Plug-Ins"
Move any Adobe plug-ins to the trash
Quit Safari
Launch Safari
Your pdf document should now render in Print Preview and print properly.

Issue converting multiple emails using Adobe PDF Plugin

We have users that use the Adobe PDF plugin within Outlook to convert multiple emails into one PDF file. They will select multiple emails, then click on the Adobe PDF tab within Outlook and choose Selected Messages, Create New PDF. When the pdf is created, only the first email that was selected got converted into the pdf file. It does not convert all of the selected emails. I have tried it on my computer and it is not working for me either. We are using, Windows 8.1, Office 2013, Adobe Acrobat Standard XI. The users say they were able to get this to work before we upgraded. Previously, they had Windows 7, Office 2010, Adobe Acrobat X. Is this a bug?

Set safari to download pdfs rather than try to use Adobe Reader plugin?

Some websites try to open a pdf file in Safari using the Adobe Reader plugin. I don't have this plugin (and don't want to), and I would like Safari to download the pdf rather than trying to use the Adobe Reader plugin. This option exists in Firefox - is there any way to set Safari to do the same thing?

On my machine, OPTION-clicking a link, downloads it or the PDF that it points to. Alternatively, load the PDF and then OPTION-click on the URL and hit the enter key. Sorry, but that's all I have to offer.

How do i open and control other programs using labview?

I'm presently trying to use labview to try to open and operate another program,but having much difficulty.The external program i'm using is called the Foundation program.
This Foundation program will use VHDL programming to create a virtual chip and then synthesising it.This program will then simulate the output of this VHDL program to verify that it is working as desired.Then the last stage is to download the whole VHDL program into a FPGA chip using a xilinx cable.
All this need to be done using a labview program - to open the Foundation program and then extract the saved file and then to execute the download command to cause the VHDL program to be downloaded onto the FPGA chip.How do i go
about doing all this?What is the first step i must do.Also all this have to be done thru networking..looks like its too difficult..I really need help.

I haven't done VHDL so pardon my ignorance.
LabVIEW can call external DLL via "Call Library Function" or C programs via "Code Interface Node", both located in "Advanced" function.
If your program is a DOS program, use "System Exec.vi" found in "Communication" function. If you need to format your DOS command prior to sending it, use the "Format Into String" function in "String" function palette.
Lastly, if you're trying to extract data, assuming it is text, use "File I/O" functions. If the data is binary, use "File I/O -> Binary File VIs".

Also, I quickly tested mp4 export - applied a bunch of behaviours to some text and exported as mp4. When I inserted into iMovie as picture in picture, it didn't have transparency. However, I changed it to green/blue screen and just clicked once using erase option. It magically made the background transparent.

Can I use Adobe PDF plugin in Chrome on a Mac?

I'm on a Mac.
I would like to use the Adobe Reader PDF viewer in Chrome instead of the built-in Chrome PDF viewer.
I went to Chrome:Plugins to disable the Chrome PDF viewer, but noticed that the Adobe Reader PDF plugin is not there.
I then went to Library/Internet Plug-ins and I do see the AdobePDFViewer.plugin file.
Is the Adobe PDF Viewer compatible with Chrome on Mac?

How do I open something from other program in the same/ current tab? IE has this functionality under internet options

How can I get applications to open in the same tab/window I am working in. In IE it was very simple. Its just a check-box under internet options. I cannot figure it out with Firefox yet

Office scheduling using a iCal or some other program.

Is it possible to do a year's worth of office scheduling using iCal--that is 6 doctors with 6 different kinds of schedules. For example, one wants to do walkins for a week each month. The others want to do it every 4th day.
Also we'd like to be able to set up a year's schedule showing when each person is on overnight call, which one is on call for various holidays, etc.
Surely there's a program to do that.

Have you tried repeating events?
