How Vlan identifies from which port the data has come ?

Hi ,
We know that more number of ports can be configured to same vlan. How vlan distinguish between the ports ? How vlan knows from which port this frame has come ? in tagging we add the vlan id to the frame and not any other info ? little confused on how this haapens ??

A VLAN doesn't really distinguish between ports. A switch does, though, "remember" (for some time) the source MAC as frames enter its ports.
Tagged frames may contain more than VLAN ID, such as L2 CoS.

How to find that for the transaction is haveing header and item tables?
How to find that what are tables used for that transaction?
by presseing f1 on a field we can find table name or structure name along with field name of that particular field?
If structrure means how to find that field from which table it is coming?
I found table name for some of the fields like this by pressing f1,double clicking on structure name?
but some fields in another transaction does not showing the table names only structure it is showing?

you can do that by Transation st05
where you have to 1) activate trace ,
2) execute transaction
3) deactivate trace after transaction complete
4) display trace
there you can find all step by step flow from where data has been retirved and tables also .
if you dont no take help from Basis People .

My point was that your question has no clarity, forget the joke. When asked what do you mean by 'dynamically' you reply ' I think you are right....in web report....'. Honestly, do you have any clarity on what you want? Say you have a layout to define with your Chars and KFs, what do you want to see there? Right click and the KFs disaggregate in a popup? Have a free char of infoprovider to drill down to? What? Post that and then expect clear answers.
To get an answer there has to be a question. Humor is one way of expressing frustration with vague questions.

How to find from/for whom the mail has been bounced.

Hi,
I got a bounced email. I have to find which mail has bounced. For example lets take I have sent a mail to [email protected] and the mail is bounced. Now I have to read my message using Javamail API and have to find mail for which intended user is failed. Hope I am clear on my question.
One thing I found is failed recepient address will be in the bounced mail's body but to get it I need to parse the mail (some server doesn't even put it in the body). Is there any other way? (like including it in the header or somewhere)

I preordered the Rival Sons' Great Western Valkyrie a couple of months ago and was charged for three individual songs at £0.79 each as they were released one-by-one and then the balance of £5.62 when the album was finally published last week. You should not have been charged twice.

Dear Sridath,
In ST05 switch on the SQL Trace.
Goto RSA3.
Give your DataSource name > Execute
Goto ST05...Switch OFF the Trace
Analyze the Trace file
Gives you details about the fields and Tables from where you are fetching.
OR
Goto LBWE
Find your DataSource > Maintenance > Display mode
In right side window...expand ALL list box...
Exclude MC and take other words...they are the Source Tables.

Hi,
DELIVERY DATE will be maintain in the SALES DOCUMENT TYPES in VOV8 in the tab REQUESTED DELIVERY DATE/PRICING DAE/PURCHASE ORDER DATE.
The field is PROPOSE DELIVERY DATE .
If you check the field then the document created date will be the Requested date and will be carried from ORDER TO DELIVERY.
If you want the delivery date other thann the CURRENT date then you have to maintain the LEAD TIME in days in the same tab.
SHIP DATE: is the date on which you do the PGI in the delivery .
Please check them and revert back if u need further details

In the PSA you can keep data as long as you like but you will need more and more disk-space. So its advisable to clean up from time to time.
Example:
PSA's from full loads Clean up in a weeks time,
PSA's from Deltas: Clean up after you are sure data is correct. (e.g. a month or 90 days)
Remember that you cannot do a reconstruction from dataloads of which you have deleted the PSA. If some thing is wrong you will have to do an Init again!
In ODS's you must keep data in order to keep your delta loads to cubes in order. Removing data will force you to do a new initial load.
Sometime companies delete old data form ODS's that is older than a certain period (e.g. more than 3 years old) by running a selective deletion. You will have to do an init again. But loads and activation may run faster and of course you gain on disk space.

I am loading the data from flat file to BPC Model (10.0 Version).
Source data (Flat file) looks like below:

My user requirement is that to delete the records which have the Data values are NULL before load data to BPC model.
So,Please let me know how can i meet to this requirement.
I am thinking that,it is possible by using start routine BADi. If i am correct please let me know process like creation of class and BADi implementation.

If you see the second record,
If data value is ZULL, then the Employee or another dimension is also NULL.
So I want to delete second records.
If it is Start routine please share the code and steps to do.

1. All details are always taken from the Sender Agreement.
For the Sender File adapter and the Sender SOAP adapter , the details that include are , Sender Service, Sender Interface Name and namespace and these are the details that make up the SOAP header when the message hits the integration Engine.
Once the corresponding Adapter for the message is identified, ie. the Sender SOAP adapter , the message for the SOAP header is then taken from the Sender Agreement of that adapter. This is the exact reason why one Sender Adapter can be involved in one and only one Sender Agreement.
