How was the pre-XI world at SAP??

Hi
I am wondering which integrtion technologies were present in the SAP world before the emergence of SAP XI?
I heared about technologies like, ALE and BC (Business Connector)..
Could you name those technologies and describe their disadvantages shortly??

Hi,
There are different interfaceing technologies available in SAP.
1. Communication using ALE, EDI, IDoc, BAPI and RFC are the most famous one. This is because it is easy maintain, configure and monitor. You get details documentation and overview on the following site.

2. Othet option to connect the SAP and othet system is JCo communication or .Net connector which the development require is more and not easy to monitor.
3. Business connector and the different third party connector which is also good way to coonect and communicate using XML standard.
All this techonolies are good but the disadvantage is point to point communication and not so eay to maintain over the period of time. The advantage of XI is single point of development, easy to monitor.

Looks really similar, I know (since Patrick's was great anyway)...it just looks a little bit more natural. Patrick's looked a little like the bubbles were going in a reverse explosion or something...they were coming together too close (no offense, Patrick).

One of the ways you can test any ABAP Webdynpro POWL,is by adding the same to the favorites and executing the same.
Choose Favourites > Add other objects. Scroll down and choose "Webdynpro application". Then in the webdynpro application enter "POWL" ,Enter description for specific POWL and then for parameter enter "APPLID" and the appropriate POWL Application ID for the same (Ex for MP POWL OPS-MP-POWL-OVERVIEW).

How has the pre-order process work for phones?

I have some questions pertaining to prior phone pre-order processes. I will be upgrading to the next iphone, whenever it launches. When I pre-order do I pay the full price for the phone, or do I just pay the upgrade price? Also, do most pre-ordered items arrive the day of launch, or do they ship day of launch?

What price you pay is completely dependent on whether you are eligible for a subsidised upgrade from your carrier.
Usually, most pre-ordered items are scheduled to be delivered on launch day.

Can't purchase a song from an Album that I cancelled the pre-order for?

Ok, so here's the deal, I bought a £15 voucher and made some purchases, the first of which was the pre-order of an Album that was released today (Sunday 24th). I didn't know however, that the cost of the purchase was deducted from your balance once you actually downloaded the album, and I've spent my credit to the point where I'm pennies of being able to pay for the pre-order of the Album. I decided however, to hit cancel pre-order and simply just download the songs that I could afford, then download the wrest at a later date. However, the album that I've cancelled my pre-order for, still displays as 'Purchased'? I was able to download one song for pre-ordering the album, but that was a deduction of 99p, the price of a single song. I'm curious why I cant't purchase the wrest of the album individually, am I tied to the pre-order because I downloaded a song that was advertised as 'Early Access', or do I now have to pay the full cost of the Album because I've surpassed the deadline to cancel the pre-order (if there is such a thing).
Some one please help me
P.S. I've only been using iTunes for less than a week, so I'm pretty much a noob.

Delete the problem track from the iTunes library, allowing iTunes to move the track file to the Trash. Then download the track again from the iTunes Store via this procedure:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

How was performance of JavaFX Application

I read one forum about JavaFX performance related information.. they mentioned like this..
The first thing you’ll notice is that it’s very slow. The demo takes a very long time to load and start, and real time performance is disappointing. Here is how it compares:
JavaFX — 14 fps
Firefox + Silverlight (JavaScript) — 56 fps
Firefox + Flex — 62 fps
Adobe AIR — 62 fps
Firefox + Silverlight (CLR) — 99 202 fps (update: 202 fps after fixing main timer’s latency)
(All tests were performed on Pentium M 1.7 machine under Windows XP SP2)
It is 4.4x slower than Flash and 7x 14x slower than Silverlight (CLR-based variant).
On a positive side, development with JavaFX is fun, the language is very compact and efficient for building complex dynamic layouts. There is a great converter to JavaFX from SVG format and JavaFXPad is done nicely too.
I want to know that how was the performance of JavaFX application.??
It seems that very slow while running on WebBrowser.. ???

U have to restart the sever after changing the port.
One more main thing here , no other services must not be using the port.
It will cause port binding exception.

Other people have been having similar problems over the last few days, I assume that there has been a problem with Apple's servers.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting them from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

How do I get rid of the pre-appended dbo_ in schema name ?

A customer opened an SR which asked the following question
I have a SQL Server database called SQLDB1. When Migrating the database (objects and data) to Oracle, the created schemas come over as dbo_OWNERNAME. How can I change the target schemas in Oracle to be created/converted as just OWNERNAME without the pre-appended "dbo_"?
Prior to 3.1 this was easy
(1) Connect to SQL Server - target database
(2) Connect to Oraclle use which contained the repository
(3) Connect to Oracle schema - destination database
(4) Click Quick Migration
(5) Go through all the panels - including doing all the privs until all tests were completed
(6) SQL Developer would then copy SQL Server tables (objects) to Oracle database
(7) The contents of the target database would be recreated in the destination database without owner being DBO
I tried the same process using 3.1 and
it appears that the steps worked since I only had 2 tables.
However, the tables did not appear in the Oracle database under my destination database
nor did it appear in a schema called dbo_<SQL Server database>
I told the customer the following
Use the offline method which will cause you to have to do each step manually.
SQL Developer will create scripts needed for the migration.
Open this script and then modify the script by removing the dbo_
and this should take care of the issue.
to which he replied
I see that is possbile with the script that creates the users and objects, but what about during the datamove portion. All of the generated data move files are named dbo_* and the pre,post, and truncate scripts also include the dbo_.
How does one get rid of dbo_ before it gets migrated over to Oracle and hence calling in dbo_myschema instead of myschema?
What happened to the 2 tables that SQL Developer said it successfully created and moved data over to Oracle ?

Now when we release it through t. Code MRBR that time its get deleted from RBKP_BLOCKED
So you can always track it :
Go to ->SE16 ->Enter table name CDHDR -.>Table contents (F7)
In the selection screen enter
OBJECTCLAS as INCOMINGINVOICE
OBJECTID as =Invoice no+year (e.g 51056066022011 where is 5105606602 invoice no 2011 is year)
TCODE as MRBR
->Execute
You will find the details when it was released Date ,Time, User ID etc

I believe GRC 10.0 versions are only avalaible for ramp-up's. There is a live expert session being arranged by SAP.
